I puchased a 'fixer-upper' a few months ago. A LOT of electrical work was needed and I solicited bids from several electrical businesses. HB was not the lowest bidder, but I was happy with the process and interaction (the vibe) with Bryan. The work was professionally done to very HIGH standards, and i have been happy AND impressed thru every step of the process. read more

Update to my review. The problem was fixed, and the technician even called me the following day to find out if the problem had resolved itself. I appreciated that. read more

Great communication, kept to schedule, went over everything in detail, great work, and very fair pricing.

Needed help with recessed ceiling light. Scheduled an agreeable time, arrived on time. Quickly diagnosed and corrected the issue. also provided advice on another unrelated issue. read more

I thought I was getting a fluorescent light replaced for $300 but instead I got four bulbs installed for $300. I should have better examined the quote beforehand. My fault. HB didn't even dispose of the old bulbs. they left them on the garage floor. I would think after getting $300 for changing four bulbs they could at least dispose of the old bulbs. In the future I'll use a different electrician. read more

I called a couple of electricians needing some work done. After a couple non responsive, 1 shady interactions I checked in with my neighbors to see who they use for electrical work. Several neighbors told me they had used HB Electric and all had positive feedback. I called and found the same great service! Their office staff is professional and organized and got me an appt quickly! The technician guy that came to do the work was clean, professional, quick and did everything he said he would the first time! That was refreshing. My wife was home while the technicians were doing the work and she said they were pleasant and friendly. So if you need an affordable electrician for a new plug, ev charger or panel work these folks are an excellent choice! Ben read more

I absolutely love this company! This is the second time we've hired them and like the first visit, I couldn't be more thrilled with the work. We had a cable break at the end of our driveway that powers two lights. The found the break, replaced the line, put in a new conduit, and added some extra plugs for holiday lights. The work was done quickly and very efficiently despite the fact that the weather was just awful that day. They also gave me an estimate for some other work we'd like to get done in the future and the bid was really well priced so we will definitely be hiring them again. read more

Wow! I am completely blown away by this company. I called, they came, they did, the work, didn't change any prices, or professional, cleaned up the area, and I feel completely satisfied. It is such a nice change to have a business that actually cares about their customer service as well as their work. I've dealt with other electricians here, in my area, that didn't seem to meet this criteria. Phenomenal job. They installed what I wanted installed, and did it in a timely manner. I will definitely use them again. read more

HB Electric Solutions - New chandelier installed professionally and quickly! - Electricians Near Me - Puyallup, Washington

A great experience with this company. Very professional and efficient! I highly recommend HB Electric Solutions.

Had a problem with a GFCI outlet tripping. Jen @ the office was extremely helpful: got a crew on it for same day, great job explaining services and pricing, and kept me informed of their ETA. Brian and Brian were extremely professional, pleasant, and got to work right away. Issues were fixed in way less than an hour. Plus, they answered all my questions thoroughly! Top notch people, top notch company. read more

This is such an amazing company! Everyone is very polite and friendly. We had a nest and ring doorbell installed and they were on time and in and out very fast! The two electricians that worked on my house today are by far the most amazing and talented people! Highly recommend them!

Bryan, Jennifer and Kate are all rockstars! I've used these guys on several occasions on my rentals and they've never let me down! They're easy to schedule, the job gets taken care of in a timely fashion and I never have to worry about any electrical issues because of them! Prices are competitive and if you're looking for someone you can trust, HB is your team! Highly recommend to anyone who needs an electrician! read more

These guys are awesome!!! We had them out a year or so ago to work on some circuits that had gone bad. While Bryan was here he recognized that our panel was a model that had been recalled and gave us a bid (and NOT a high pressure sales approach) for replacing it. Wasn't in the budget at the time but we held onto it and called them up a year later and they honored the old bid and scheduled quickly and easily. Between when we scheduled and when they came out we had a few other things go wrong (a baseboard heater and an outlet went out). When Briley and Alena come out they replaced the panel we had originally asked for and got the other issues resolved without any extra cost to me! They also noticed an outdoor outlet that was in bad shape so they fixed that while they were at it too. I can't say enough good things. Briley and Alena were friendly, easy to work with, kind to my dog, respectful of my space and my home and really informative and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them for any electrical work!!!!! read more

I called to get a quote to replace a chandelier that was on a vaulted ceiling and I didn't have a ladder to reach that high. I did submit for a quote, they got back to me rather quickly and so I called their office. The gal that answered the phone was great, gave me the quote and then could actually fit me in their schedule in 2 days. Brylie and Austin showed up about 15 minutes early, assessed what they needed and got right to work. They were friendly and answered all my questions, and even talked to me about some future work I wanted to get done. There rates were reasonable and my final bill was exactly as expected. I would definitely recommend HB Electric Solutions, great customer service and employees. read more

After extensive research we decided to go with HB Electric for our whole house rewire because of the great reviews and competitive bid. Overall we were pleased with their work and would hire them again, especially given the savings compared to other electric companies. Bryan and Kate were both wonderful to work with. Their office has some of the best customer service I've ever encountered. Every question was answered quickly and with so much patience and grace. No matter the request they always wanted to make sure it was done right. At one point I contacted Bryan with a small list of tweaks toward the end of the project, and he made sure they were all worked out at no additional charge. Truly 5/5 service. However there were a few hiccups during the install that make this a 4/5 review overall. We found that, compared to the work being done on our house by other contractors (full kitchen remodel), the electrical areas were never cleaned up. We found nails, wire scraps, chunks of drywall, wood shavings, etc. all over every inch of our house, our garage, and our garden beds. There were also a number of changes made to outlet, light, and switch placement that were never communicated to us. They were happy to fix those errors when requested (excellent customer service!) but that required extra patching of the holes they created or, in some cases, just living with the change. Two areas of our home that had lights no longer do, a two-switch hallway was changed to only have one switch, etc. These small hiccups weren't massive on their own, but taken together got a little frustrating. Additional attention to detail or oversight of the on-site electrician by Bryan probably could have made our experience even better. Overall the great customer service and competitive pricing would make us recommend HB Electric, but be prepared to communicate clearly and deep clean your space after the project concludes. read more

I recently had my 1926 home rewired and hired this company. To start off, I have to say they did an amazing job! While deciding who to hire at the beginning, they made it really easy. From the owner, the walk through, how detailed the estimate was (down to the line items), the office staff as well as the electricians that came out to perform the job - everything was done very nicely. I have to admit, I am picky with my plaster walls and I know it's not an easy task to work with (as I wasn't planning on gutting the place). Their ability and skill to reuse the old placements was fantastic. Cutting 93 year old plaster is no easy job. The areas that they did have to cut into, they tried to patch them as well as they could - AND, there were not many! The team showed up on time and the owner was also present here and there during the home rewire. The electricians were personable, friendly, courteous and cleaned up every day before they left. The first day of the rewire we had an issue which turned out to be a connection from the transformer into the house. They made sure to stay until Tacoma Power was able to fix it, which I appreciate immensely. I would and will hire this team of electricians again because I trust their work and they fix any issues that come up. I think that they are very decently priced and do one heck of a job! I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

I needed to get some old wiring replaced in my recently-purchased house. I sent out lots of quote requests, received very few responses, and narrowed my choice down to HB and one other contractor. Brian came out to my house and provided an estimate that was thousands of dollars lower than the other quote, and was more thorough. I went with HB for my project and I'm glad I did. Brian and his assistant completed the project in exactly the amount of time that was estimated. He did adjust his initial estimate upward after discovering some additional details he missed in his initial quote, but the price increase was fair considering the amount of extra work it entailed. Throughout the process, I was kept in the loop with project updates, the project was completed on time, and my house was left in great condition (minus a few holes in the drywall, which I was told to expect early on in the process). All in all, this was a great contractor experience and I'll definitely be looking at HB for any future electrical work. read more

We've used Bryan for two separate jobs (on our 100 year old, original whack electrical job of a house) now and with each visit, we have been very impressed with his work and personality. He does good work and we feel his prices are fair. He is also thoughtful of doing extra things (at no additional cost). Example, he gave us an option, if we wanted to buy an electric heater to put on our living room wall, he would put it in for us at no extra charge as he'd already be exposing that part of the wall anyway. (We decided not to do it but the fact he asked, yet alone even thought about it as an option, speaks for his workmanship). He is really great with our two "people-obsessed" Golden Retrievers and he never makes us feel bad when they obsessively say hello or try to play with him. #gottalovegoldens This means a lot to us as we consider our pups like children. We would recommend him to anyone we know and to anyone searching for an electrician who will actually answer you call, be kind to your family and not take advantage of you. read more

I would certainly recommend. The only company out of at least 10 that were willing and able to stop by my house and check out my electrical issue within 24 hours. Bryan has been out twice now to our home, and both times he did a great job. He has a great attitude and I feel totally comfortable having him work in the house with my family there. He was working while we were in the middle of moving in, and he even took a couple boxes to the basement. He said "I'm heading that direction anyway!". I will definitely have him come out again next time we need anything. His work has been great. We have a home from pre 1920, and he has been able to make some safety updates, and knows the scope of work involved for updating older houses. read more

Bryan is the kindest person in this industry I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Kate in the office is so professional and polite. My entire experience with HB was amazing. Thank you very much for being responsive, professional, and kind! read more

3 reasons why Bryan was a pleasure to work with: 1) He does his own work. From the estimate to the installation he does it all which makes for less room for confusion and 2) His quality and speed of work is impressive. I've done two home remodels previously and I can recognize a quality contractor when I see one. Brian is that. 3) His prices are very reasonable. He is honest and up front about all aspects of the bid. In my case there was an ambiguous part of the project which he clearly defined. If you're looking for a quality electrician who will get the job done right for a fair price call Bryan. read more

I selected this company based on comments on a local neighborhood site and the reviews here on Yelp. I had about 7 items on my "honeydo" list. While it took a few days to receive the quote, everything else was very punctual and professional. I thought the cost was reasonable for all I had done. When a security light didn't shut off properly, John came out until it was right. Jennifer in the front office is VERY responsive, which seems to be unusual these days. I would definitely use this company again! read more

These guys were awesome! Bryan, Austin and Brandon were at my house for 2 days installing ceiling fans in a number of rooms, replacing all the hard-wired smoke detectors in the home, and taking care of a few other random electrical issues. They were prompt, polite, clean, and did an amazing job. Bryan took the time to explain things as needed and Austin and Brandon plugged away at the job despite having to crawl around in the attic during 85+ degree weather. I definitely recommend this crew without any hesitation. read more

Even though they clearly don't need yet another 4-5 star review, my experience was so positive I wanted to be sure others were aware. Bryan and his team are professional, honest and fair. I'd highly recommend them for any type of electrical project you may have! read more

Wow....what can I say! This company is hands down the best for honesty, price , and quality work! I know absolutely nothing about electrical and I didn't even know where to start!! I cannot thank this company enough! We recently moved and needed a whole house rewire we were not expecting. They were honest and the work they did was outstanding. It was upsetting to hear one company tell us that the work couldn't be done without tearing our whole house apart and spending an astronomical amount of money. Not what we wanted to hear after moving and having everything painted! Bryan and Austen came and were amazing. They managed to rewire our house with minimal damage but we knew we would have some repairs to do that couldn't be avoided. They were both so nice, kind to my baby and respectful of our house. We cannot thank them enough for the work they did. Out of all the contractors we dealt with on projects, they are the only ones we would call back! Highly recommend them:) read more

Had HB come out and install some light fixtures. Bryan was a real pro whose 20 years of experience was evident in zero delay in performing the installation work. Other companies tried quoting us 800 dollars for light fixture installation. Not HB. The only charge was for the service call. Will definitely utilize HB again for future electrical needs. read more

We always hired him in the past. But not anymore. We hired him this last time to install 4 ceiling fan boxes so we could put ceiling fans up with connected wall light switches, replace an under cabinet light, and replace a dryer plug. He came on 3 different days over 6 weeks - which was very displeasing because he didn't tell us he would be doing it that way. He was supposed to put in new connected wall light switches on all of the new ceiling fan boxes, but only did it on half of them, and instead disconnected the wall plug outlets from the existing light switch and hooked them up to the new ceiling fan boxes he installed without telling or asking us. We actually really liked the top plug receptacles hooked up to the light switch for easy turning on/off of lamps which is why we wanted new, additional, switches for the ceiling fans, but now they no longer work. We contacted them about this, but he has not responded. Then, when it was time to pay, he pulled the classic "oops, I accidentally doubled the price" move. He immediately corrected the price when asked. We've had this happen with others in the past. They double the price, "exactly", to see if they can get it, and if you call them out on it, then they claim it was a math error, hoping you'll believe them because it's "exactly" double, and play off the oddity of that. Yes, this is a trick that happens, and in our experience, it has always been an owner/operator that does it. We've renovated 7 properties in 3 states from coast to coast, over the past 15 years and have come across this a few times. The average homeowner may not catch it or even know to look out for it, but when you've been hiring service men repeatedly for over a decade, you're bound to run into it. We're always disgusted when someone does this, but in this case, we're also disappointed, as we were hoping to keep him on our "go to list" as an electrician for our next renovation. read more

Bryan was extremely professional and down to earth. He worked quick and got the job done right. I didn't know the exact plug I needed installed for my car charger in the garage. He took out his phone and started researching with me, making sure he installed the correct plug since I don't have the charging unit yet. After he was done, he was more than willing to answer a few of my questions about other installations I'd like to have done in my house. He took time to really have a conversation with me. OUTSTANDING!!! Really impressed with from the beginning. They were quick to come and give us a bid in just a few days and schedule us to do the work within a week! UNHEARD of with contractors these days. We had outside electrical work done from adding outlets to installing our gazebo chandelier, uplighting to even digging a huge 18inch trench from one side of the yard to the other while not trashing out yard. Was an added bonus when they beat the other bid by half of the cost. I'll be referring them out to our clients for electrical needs and am calling them again if I need work done again.
