My wife and I hired KOE to help me diagnose an electrical issue I was having and move one of our outlets. Mike (the owner) was very professional got back to me quickly with a reasonable quote. We made an agreement and he sent out a service tech right away. On the phone He said it can take up to two hours to diagnose an issue but the Nick the technician and his apprentice had it figured out in about 10 to 15 minutes. Nick was on time, polite, friendly and overall made things very easy. Not to mention, Nick has over 20 years experience as an electrician. His professionalism and expertise definitely showed. There's a big difference between a licensed, bonded and insured electrician and someone who can swap a single pole switch. I needed multiple 3-way switches replaced, as well as some GFCIs in the kitchen where the tile guys doing my backsplash had ruined the existing boxes. KO knows what they're doing, they do it fast and BONUS, they then clean up after themselves. I got same day service, paid a fair price for several hours of work, and my house is now buttoned up correctly. Warmly recommend these guys. Not inexpensive but, like your dentist or lawyer, you get what you pay for. And KO did excellent work for a fair rate, quickly. Can't ask for more. read more

I worked with my mike, he came over to my house and we thoroughly discussed what I needed done and he quoted me 1200 for the job. When He let me know he finished the job I did a walk-through and I asked about an outlet that should have been on its own circuit per our discussion. and he said he did not do that and that he would have to charge me an extra $400. I told him I didn't know what to say, we had discussed the job beforehand and that I had told him that that's what I'd wanted done and then he told me 1200 for the total job. He said there were some "miscommunication" and he has to charge me $400 extra. This is after he's already done most of the work, I felt like he was trying to hustle me but I really needed to get this done and couldn't have my time wasted anymore. I wouldn't hire him again since he doesn't honor his word and his integrity issues. read more

It turned out our little hot tub wiring job was a little less straightforward than it originally appeared. I'm glad I reached out to a pro for the help. When Mike arrived he seemed a bit taken aback by the different configuration of this hot tub, but soon had a solution figured out. He was able to track down the new sub panel and breakers I needed right away. He didn't just punt the job down the road and reschedule. The costs were higher because of the required extra parts, but it was necessary and fair.
