I can't recommend KO Electric enough! When a delivery truck pulled down our power line, we were left without power and needed emergency help immediately. Mike responded to our call within 15 minutes and arrived at our home in about 30 minutes. Mike and his crew were incredibly professional, experienced, and efficient. They knew exactly what needed to be done and completed all of the repairs within just two hours. What really impressed us was that Mike went above and beyond by coordinating directly with the utility company's inspector and arranging an after-hours inspection so our power could be restored the very same day. This was an incredibly stressful situation, and Mike made the entire process as smooth and worry-free as possible. If you need an honest, knowledgeable, and reliable electrician--especially in an emergency--don't waste your time or money calling anyone else. Call KO Electric. They truly provide outstanding!! read more

We had Mike come out after a recent storm caused a couple of our outlets to stop working, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. He arrived on time, was incredibly pleasant and easy to work with, and clearly knew what he was doing. The repairs were done efficiently and thoroughly, and the pricing was very fair. It's such a relief to work with someone who is both skilled and genuinely kind. We would absolutely call him again and highly recommend his services. read more

I highly recommend K O Electric. Michael reached out to me within the hour after my request on YELP. He was very knowledgeable, sharing an estimate for the repair work and got us scheduled the next day for the repair. He was on time and was able to fix the electrical issue on his first visit. K O Electric prices are very fair and Michael was very responsive. We needed the invoice for a home sale, and he was able to provide that by the same day by the close of business. Highly recommend reaching out to them! read more

I recently hired KO Electric for work in my home, and they exceeded every expectation. Their workmanship was top‑tier--clean, efficient, and clearly done with care. Also, the owner, Mike, was completely honest about the electrical situation and kept me updated throughout the job. It's rare to find a company that combines expertise, transparency, and genuine customer service as seamlessly as KO Electric does. If you're looking for an electrical company you can trust KO Electric. I'd recommend them without hesitation. read more

Mike was prompt, professional, responsive, and quick. He also provided a fair price and easy payment. I would recommend him !

I've had Mike from KO Electric handle several projects at my home, including an electrical panel upgrade, recessed lighting, some outdoor lighting on a fire pit, and some sleek fixtures in my gym. His work? Absolutely top-notch. The quality and professionalism were unmatched. If I could, I'd give him five stars without hesitation... but I've got to dock a couple stars for one small issue: Mike's a San Diego Chargers fan. Just kidding (kind of)! Chargers fan or not, I can't deny the guy knows his stuff. Five stars all the way! Thank you Mike. read more

Mike, with K O Electric, did an absolutely amazing job in installing an EV charger at my place. I requested quotes on Yelp from about five to six electrician companies and Mike met all of my expectations. They all offered similar price but Mike was only one who could get the job done the same day or within couple days. All others were trying to schedule an appointment just for estimate and that was not even available until next week. For same price, and with good review on Yelp, I decided to go with Mike. I am so glad I found him. He showed up on time, asked me where I want it to be installed, and worked with my tiny panel that didn't have much room left. He even offered to call him back if anything happens. The charger works amazing and looks amazing, too. Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication! read more

We needed electrical outlets and back porch lights fixed/replaced in our recently purchased home. Mike was able to come within the same week I reached out. He was able to fix everything pretty quickly and even went out and got us new light fixtures for our back porch. The cost for the work done was very reasonable. We'll definitely use K O Electric for any future electrical work. Thanks Mike! read more

Needed to change electrical panels in my apartment complex. Was fast and efficient. Worked well with my tenants to keep things running on schedule. Mike saved me lots of money by having the lowest estimate. He did all the paper work to get the permits and Tacoma power inspections done. I would diffidently use KO Electric for any future work that I may need done. read more

If you are looking for an electrician look no further, K O Electric goes above and beyond in their service. My wife and I hired KOE to help me diagnose an electrical issue I was having and move one of our outlets. Mike (the owner) was very professional got back to me quickly with a reasonable quote. We made an agreement and he sent out a service tech right away. On the phone He said it can take up to two hours to diagnose an issue but the Nick the technician and his apprentice had it figured out in about 10 to 15 minutes. Nick was on time, polite, friendly and overall made things very easy. Not to mention, Nick has over 20 years experience as an electrician. His professionalism and expertise definitely showed. They were in and out with the whole job in under 2 hours! In closing, K O Electric is a fantastic company. I would recommend them to any of my friends or family. Problem solved! Easy to schedule and resolved electrical issues quickly. Thanks KO Electric!

Sorted problem quickly and took the time to explain the issue with great follow up and customer service.

Mike did a really good job for fixing a switch in my laundry room and installing new light fixtures/dimmers for me. Mike is easy to communicate with and we discussed on a tricky situation with my laundry room, leading to a reasonable solution that we are happy with. So, when he also proposed replacing our light fixtures to integrated LED throughout the house, we accepted (that's the right time as holidays are coming). This project turned out to be good again and I love our house being brighter now. read more

Called KO Electric for a small job of moving a couple outlets. He responded quickly and was able to get me on the schedule right away. A different electrician came over a day earlier for what I thought was a quote on a different job and they ended up doing the outlets, so I canceled KO, and they were really gracious about the short notice. It's nice to see such professionalism and quick response, so give KO a call to see if they're a fit for you. read more

We had an outlet spark and sputter on us, this morning. Mike, the owner and operator at K O Electric, came and took care of our problem, on his day off. He was professional and dedicated! When we need an electrician, HE IS THE ONE WE WILL CALL! read more

Mike was great to work with for getting a 50 amp EV charging circuit and plug installed in our garage. Quickly assessed the work and parts needed, was prompt and easy to communicate with, and flexible with finding a near-term opening in his schedule. Would definitely recommend him for electrical work and work with him again if we have any future electrical needs. read more

There's a big difference between a licensed, bonded and insured electrician and someone who can swap a single pole switch. I needed multiple 3-way switches replaced, as well as some GFCIs in the kitchen where the tile guys doing my backsplash had ruined the existing boxes. KO knows what they're doing, they do it fast and BONUS, they then clean up after themselves. I got same day service, paid a fair price for several hours of work, and my house is now buttoned up correctly. Warmly recommend these guys. Not inexpensive but, like your dentist or lawyer, you get what you pay for. And KO did excellent work for a fair rate, quickly. Can't ask for more. read more

I worked with my mike, he came over to my house and we thoroughly discussed what I needed done and he quoted me 1200 for the job. When He let me know he finished the job I did a walk-through and I asked about an outlet that should have been on its own circuit per our discussion. and he said he did not do that and that he would have to charge me an extra $400. I told him I didn't know what to say, we had discussed the job beforehand and that I had told him that that's what I'd wanted done and then he told me 1200 for the total job. He said there were some "miscommunication" and he has to charge me $400 extra. This is after he's already done most of the work, I felt like he was trying to hustle me but I really needed to get this done and couldn't have my time wasted anymore. I wouldn't hire him again since he doesn't honor his word and his integrity issues. read more

Bottom line; Mike was responsive, showed up on time, got the job done despite the extra complexity of the project. It turned out our little hot tub wiring job was a little less straightforward than it originally appeared. I'm glad I reached out to a pro for the help. When Mike arrived he seemed a bit taken aback by the different configuration of this hot tub, but soon had a solution figured out. He was able to track down the new sub panel and breakers I needed right away. He didn't just punt the job down the road and reschedule. The costs were higher because of the required extra parts, but it was necessary and fair. I'll be calling K.O again when I need help on electrical and with this house I'm pretty sure it will be sooner than later. read more

We contracted with K.O. to replace a service panel and install an EV charging station. The work was done on time and at the agreed upon price. Aside from the professionalism of company personnel, what impressed us most was the desire to completely satisfy. Instead of telling us what we needed as other companies had done, Mike listened and gave us what we wanted in a way that even impressed the state inspector. I hope we will not need electrical work any time soon, but if we do, K.O. will be the only company I would call. I highly recommend them. read more

Excellent same day service from Mike at K.O. Electric recently. Mike was the first one to reply to my request for help with an outdoor outlet that needed replacement. He fit us in on the same day at the end of the day. On top of that, the final charge came lower (and reasonable) than the other quotes I received from other competing businesses. Bravo, K.O. Electric! Thank you for your help, Mike! read more

I normally wouldn't write a second review, but Mike and his crews are amazing enough to deserve this, too. After we discovered one switch wasn't working as we hoped after Mike and Nick came the first time last month to repair switches and outlets, we called Mike back and asked for him to return to ensure the switch was working right. And, sure enough, he sent out one of his crews and they came and fixed the switch--and cleaned up a few other electrical issues we didn't see the first time around--and didn't charge me anything for the second fix. Truly, this is unparalleled customer care, including here in Seattle where we live. I can't recommend Mike and his electricians enough to anyone in the Seattle to Tacoma area needing electrician services. They stand behind their work, charge reasonable prices, and truly understand what it means to put the customer first. Thank you, Mike, and we wish you and your electricians only the best in your work. We certainly will be in touch in the future if/when we need further electrician assistance! read more
