I have an older house so it could've been anything... Paul was able to squeeze me in towards the end of the day due to a cancellation, so I can tell that he takes care of new customers just as well as existing. He was so communicative and honest with what he was doing, I actually learned a lot! After a couple hours he deemed that the wiring and circuit to the fridge was just fine and that the issue is probably the fridge itself (which is unfortunate, but at least he didn't have to tear my wall apart!). I will say that the fees were a little more than other electricians I saw, but given the quality, communication, and overall great experience, it's well worth it! I will be using Dependable Electric again whenever I have electrical issues!

The same electrician came back to do the work which was nice. I also changed the plan after the quote and a simple FaceTime with the electrician was all that was needed to get the job updated. For the work inside the house they didn't just default to cutting drywall, some other quotes had 4-6 holes, these guys did it with 2 holes, took them longer but much appreciated. cherry on top- their price was the best too.

I told them that my system never kept up on hot days. They offered a bid and I thought they were totally fair on price. So we pulled the trigger. Especially helped to make my mind up as it was around 78 degrees outside the next day and the old system still didn't keep up. They gave me 2 bids and I opted for the more high efficiency bid. Jacob and Aaron arrived at the house to complete the job. My house being 100 years old, it wasn't the easiest and Jacob had to put in the O.T. to get it done. I was still skeptical that it would keep up. But this new system is actually amazing. We've already hit 90 degrees since the install and my thermostat never varied from 72 degrees where I set it. Im 100% satisfied with this company and would absolutely recommend them. Also when Aaron did the electrical, we had a light start blinking. I wasn't sure if it was from the work they did and so I called the company. Aaron came out and fixed my light and it just happened to be a random occurrence not caused by the work being done. I feel like I've been a vicitim of a very elaborate bait and switch (combined with the fact that I stupidly decided to do a five-year membership to service our system at no cost so now I'm tied to them). This was THEIR error, not discovered at install or six months, and now I'm out $1500. They never acknowledged their install error. To boot, their GM basically harassed me on text, super unprofessional, berating my husband for hanging up on him after he completely ignored my information on text. He mentioned he would share our text thread on reviews. Cool. Question if it is all there if they do post. Buyer BEWARE. Don't let the sell job catch you...they're slick on the sell and absent on accountability. :-( UPDATE: Another company identified a different problem as the culprit, and identified installation flaws from this company. Please don't use them. They cut corners and are now costing us thousands. This company sold out in October 2025 and it shows. Buyer beware.

He showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. The first job required that he move wiring from two existing fixtures (one wall-mount and the other ceiling-mount) to three new ceiling-mount fixtures. He also repaired switches for four different fixtures that had been installed incorrectly by the previous owner of the house. His second visit was far less expensive than what other electricians quoted and he was again on time and quick with the work. When the jobs were done, he even vacuumed in the areas where he worked. It wasn't necessary--but he went above and beyond. If and when I ever need electrical work done again, I will contact Russ first!
