WARNING - This is NOT a Verizon store!!! Verizon WILL NOT support you with GoWireless transaction or phone issues! Have had a myriad of issues - last has been trying to get my $800 trade-in credit for over 6-months! Still not resolved! I've have even gone to the BBB, filed a complaint and asked for assistance. GoWireless and Verizon have the "basics" of poor customer service down to a "T". * Multiple touchpoints required for simple issue resolution (if any) * Providing wrong or inaccurate information * Unreasonable payments and/or unexplained surcharges * Overuse of automated scripts & ROBO responses to customers (wait for it...) * Merry-go-round responses - no one owns the issue or authority to resolve timely In short, Go Wireless' processes and support is atrocious. The resolution processes are a down-right an abusive merry-go-round, the worst I have ever encountered - I am 61. And - GW does not empower employees to support you in a timely or equitable manner. The people are nice - other than misleading me on level of service, fees, losing my turned in phone, incorrect promotion given, poor cell service, poor customer service elsewhere, not following up, chat support worthless, corporate support simply sent issue back to the store, never a firm answer for issue resolution, etc... - too many to list. And no support from VERIZON - not their problem. YOU have been WARNED - previously 20 years with T-Mobile - not a single issue! Note - I did not purchase my phone from this store - but GoWireless' processes\behaviors are the same regardless if at the store or corporate level. Avoid This Store at All Costs! I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Verizon authorized retailer in Poway. I went in to upgrade my family's phones to the new iPhone 16, and the sales rep completely scammed me. She claimed I was getting a bundle of accessories with the phones but never mentioned the outrageous price--$900 for three screen protectors, three cases, and two camera protectors, which should have cost a fraction of that elsewhere. To make matters worse, when I asked for a receipt, she conveniently said they were "out of paper." They installed all the accessories in the store, making it impossible to return them. On top of that, I was charged for an extra case that I never even received, along with additional mystery fees. The entire process took a ridiculous seven hours, and after all that, I never even got the upgrade rebate I was promised. This store is a complete ripoff, and the sales tactics are deceptive. Save yourself the headache and go to a corporate Verizon store instead. read more

I had an awful experience at the Verizon store that I feel compelled to share. After walking in hoping for some help, I was met with pushy sales tactics that seemed more like a con than genuine assistance. They insisted that the online deals were different from what I could get in-store, trying to get me to pay $300 dollars more for the same service. To make matters worse, I was told that there was no express pickup for online orders at that location. I left feeling frustrated but decided to give it a shot anyway. I placed my order online just 10 minutes after leaving the store, fully expecting to pick it up within the promised 2-hour window. Well, guess what? When I got home, I saw that my order hadn't even been processed! It's beyond disappointing to be misled like this. I expected better from a major company. Let me just say this is the first ever Yelp posting for me. And didn't even have the app until my experience at this store. Jorge is the Bomb! I came in to the store close to 7:30pm to get my girlfriend added to my account. After 30 seconds talking with Jorge, I was sold on not only getting her account set up, but upgrading my phone now too. Jorge was funny and very cool to work with. It was late and close to closing and even as he tried to set up two new phones, he was able to assist a few other customers. The thing that impressed me the most was his attention to detail and the fact that even though they closed soon, we stayed until everything was done and every question was answered. We were there about an hour after closing time and he made sure we were completely satisfied. Kudos to you Jorge. You Rock!!! read more

My wife and I came in to upgrade both our phones. We talked with customer service over the phone several times and went to another store but did not get very much help. We came in to this store and met and spoke with Jason. He was extremely friendly and easy to get along with. He helped us where no one else could it would. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the phones and our account. He helped us both get our phones and set them up. The experience before was a nightmare with the previous manager CJ.... However, I am so glad Sal, the new store manager was able to take care of me. I had a great experience at this store. Roy really helped me get setup with my postpaid account. He went the extra mile setting me up with a great devices and accessories with the promotion going on. He was able to total everything at a reasonable price. I definitely would refer a friend or family to this location. He really took his time and effort in making this a good experience for me.
