Went in to upgrade my phone and saw a lot of people in store waiting thinking it'd take long but only took five minutes for a walk in which was really Great. Estanor helped me with everything, he was very informative and made me feel like a human being unlike other locations that make you feel like an idiot with horrible customer service. He was patient and laid out all the options available for me and did all the math with me for my new upgrade including the surcharges and everything else. He gave me is one on one opinions for the options to choose from with my situation and made me feel comfortable with my choice. Very disappointing experience at the Panorama City Verizon store. My mom upgraded to a new iPhone through a Verizon trade-in promotion. The new phone was faulty, and customer service helped replace it, but in the process the trade-in was canceled. We were instructed to return her old iPhone 13 to the Panorama City Verizon store, which we did. The problem started when the trade-in credit never appeared on her bill, making it much higher than expected. Customer service told us the store needed to grade the phone to restore the credit and specifically told us to go in. After multiple failed attempts to call the store (the phone just rings and redirects to customer service), my mom went in around 1:00 PM today Saturday December 13th. The employees completely disregarded her. They didn't check her in, didn't ask for her number, and told her to just call customer service--even after she explained that customer service sent her there. They said they "don't do that" and went back to talking among themselves. There were no other customers, yet no one was willing to help. The lack of professionalism was unacceptable. Ignoring a customer, refusing to assist, and not even answering the phone is ridiculous. My mom has been a Verizon customer for over 20 years, and this experience alone has made her consider canceling her service. read more

I have been a customer of Verizon cell for over 10 years. 6 weeks ago I added a second line to my account as a backup phone. Initially the service was okay but in the last 6 weeks my billing has never been correct. I have been into this Verizon store 4 TIMES to correct this problem and still it is wrong. When I went into the store today the sales staff was rude and unhelpful especially the manager. I will probably go to a new carrier but I hope no one goes to this store for any kind of support. An employee named Marvin had been assisting me and at one point, I asked him about something I did not understand. I did not pretend to understand. I admitted that I did not know what to do. All of a sudden, his entire demeanor changed. He started saying, "You obviously don't know what a KB is", and something to the effect of, "You don't know much about technology." I did not entertain his comments. I repeated that I did not understand and was trying to figure out what I needed to do. I asked him to please humor me for a minute, listen to me and what I was saying because it was not clear to me. He kept talking and saying that I am the professional and you don't understand. Then, because I kept repeating that I was not sure what to do and I needed his help, he replies, "Why are you treating me like this and all I have done is listen to you? If you keep treating me like this, I am walking away." I did not say anything to him because I could not understand why he was reacting in that way and thinking that I was treating him in such a way. I just honestly did not understand and wanted him to help me figure it out. I cannot help it if I do not understand and I admitted that I did not understand. That is why I came to the store, because I realize that I do not understand everything, especially as it relates to technology. If he is not able and patient enough to help someone understand and assist them with their issue (s), then he should not do this type of work. There was no point for me to come to this store, if I was not going to get the assistance that I needed. He needs coaching and to learn to be patient and work with people who may not understand the first time. If he cannot, then he needs to work in a different position that does not require dealing with people who may not understand and having to explain information more than once. Based on all of the interactions that I have had with various Verizon employees, especially since COVID-19, supervisors, and managers, this issue exists throughout the company. The company is seriously lacking in all areas and much improvement is needed. Hopefully, it will be realized soon and addressed. Verizon has truly lost its luster! read more

Made the switch to Verizon services and received a new iPhone 13 which I was able to pick up in store the same day including a $200 Verizon Gift Card which I can use to purchase items from the store and even pay the bill. I was also able to keep my same number. However, everything that glitters isn't golden. (My phone is gold lol) The downside of the purchase is that it did not come with a plug for the new phone charger which is needed and not cheap. Additionally, even the bundle of items that I needed to protect the phone cost the same amount as the gift card, which isn't activated until after eight weeks from the date of your purchase so that they make sure you remain a customer. The pandemic brought about a tremendous change in my daily routine. One, of which, is that school went entirely online. Never in my life did I ever think that med school would be online, but alas, it happened. This allowed me to move back home from NYC, which was great as I found that the east coast was not for me. This also allowed me to work at the same time, and I was able to pick up my old contract from before my move to NYC. However, being on the road and juggling such a schedule, I now needed new gadgetry to get through my day. Hence, I came to this Verizon location in the San Fernand Valley. The staff here took care of me well. I was able to find exactly what I needed: an iPad Pro, the apple pencil, air pods pro, an iPad car mount, and protective casing. The staff also helped me to find the plan upgrade that was right for me. This was a blessing, as I sometimes had to stream class or group meetings from my car. I am overall happy with purchase. If I find myself back in this part of town in the immediate future, I may stop by to get more accessories. Maybe an apple watch or a phone upgrade. read more

Associate Elsy made my experience quick and easy. Helpful and attentive, I was in and out of the store. Fast forward to this year, I called the store on a Saturday and inquired if they had any Pro's in stock. Elsy informed me they did not. I gave her my cell number and asked if she could message me the second they received fresh stock. Monday 3 p.m. rolls around and Elsy messaged me to tell me a fresh supply had just dropped. Drove over there, checked in and within 10 minutes had the phone in my hand. I was so delighted and impressed by her service I also picked up a Series 5 Apple watch! The Wait wasn't too bad. After they review the phone, turns out they can't fix it but a new one can be mailed under the warranty. They asked if we wanted insurance for some of our lines. Talked about be prices and decided not to get insurance. Our exact answer "no thank you, we'll think about it for the future and only address this now". Surprisingly the employee said "cool, you're about set". Everything is done. And we go home. By the time I was home, I received a notification that insurance has been added on ALL our lines. Called Verizon. Wait time was long. Texted In to their customer service. They fixed the issue. I'm grateful they fixed it fast but it shouldn't have been an issue in the first place.
