Mario was EXTREMELY helpful! I went in there with a bad attitude because I hate dealing with cell phone companies. They always rip you off and never help you when you pay for their protection plan. Let's be honest, usually we all dread having to deal with any wireless companies. But I can say after my experience yesterday I am very pleased to say I won't be dealing with that feeling anymore now that I have found a great Verizon location with AMAZING customer service. Right when I walked in I was greeted by everyone working, then quickly assisted by Elijah. Elijah was the gentleman who help me with purchasing my new phone. He was informative, knowledgeable, and extremely patient with me when it came to my million's of questions. An update to our previous review. It turns out that Gary was never informed of the certified letter that was delivered and signed by an assistant manager. Unfortunately, the buck stops with the owner. (Often it doesn't). In this case Gary contacted us immediately and the problem has been rectified. People do make mistakes especially as junior managers. I certainly hope that the assistant manager has learned a valuable lesson from this debacle. Gary's quick response thwarted a small claims suit. We just wanted justice and we received it in a timely fashion. Thanks for taking the responsibility as a leader. Mark M. was great! Went in a little after 7pm knowing that they closed at 8pm but hoping to be able to upgrade my phone in time. He was super knowledge in helping me choose a new device that would meet all my needs and quickly transferred my information from my old phone to my new one. Was also very friendly as well and both guys at the store did a great job of working as a team to help myself and the other customers before closing time. I came into this Verizon store a month ago to get the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and the female employee named Terry was assisting in this. The phone was on back order so they had to place an order to the store to get this phone. They said it would come the first week of December and that they would call when it arrived. After that first week in December I called the store to see if it came in and they said the phone was sent back but I could come in to the store to make that order again. I decided it had become too much of a headache for a new phone when my current one works just fine so I decided not to go in to try to order it again. Last night I paid my phone bill on the Verizon app and checked next months bill. It showed that I would be paying for the iPhone 12 that I never received. I called the store today and provided the order number and store location from the email I received when I initially ordered the phone. They told me that order was never placed and that they could not help me fix this issue. I do not trust this Verizon store and will not be using them in the future. They do not know what they are doing and will not be able to help with any account issues. read more

I am happy to report that after my writing my review about my negative experience with this store, I received an immediate request from the area supervisor, Gary S. to meet with him and address the issues I detailed. I appreciated the expedient response. I ended up meeting another area supervisor for this store, Daryush, who was extremely helpful in eliminating any issues with my account since the inception of the attempt to purchase the cell phone. He read my report and seemed genuinely concerned about the problems I described. He corrected any and all erroneous charges, restored my account to its original and was eager to help me in any other way. I am pleased with management's response and satisfied they did the right thing. I suggested that this is the type of business transaction I, as a customer, would expect to receive. Verizon emails m,e: "your Iphone 6 is low on data and you need a new phone! We aren't going to SERVICE I6s after 1/19 but we have a special offer: buy 1 get one free." But I don't want another one. "So you can get an Ipad for free instead and here's the charger, the protection case and the glass screen cover." OK. Here is my charge card (fool). So my "free" IPad is going to cost $12+mo x 2 yrs., I am also paying for all the "free" extras and I am buying a $10 mo phone line which he didn't mention and I didn't want to go with the IPad. The whole thing was a fast sales job done by Hong and the blond, female mgr. who was especially rude and treated me like I was stupid. This Verizon store is strictly a sales job. The workers are on commission and are only interested in selling, not in helping you understanding their offers, the costs, nor the equipment. They set up the Ipad which I then had to take to Apple to clear before I returned it. Another 2 hrs of my time. My money was returned. Another trip to Apple to reset the Apple ID---3 hrs this time. So 4 trips to Verizon and 2 trips to Apple. A waste of time. Before you fall for this. Check w Apple. Their phones+Ipads were the same price as V. So was Best Buy. Apple said I really didn't need a new phone (get an S phone). I forgot-- V kept my I6. The whole thing is a SCAM to get you to buy a new phone and new line with V. This is the second time I have had to deal with this store. THEY ARE BEYOND RUDE. If you want to take advantage of their offers, go to a "non-corporate" store. Fewer customers, more help, and better manners. read more

I went to this store to update my phone, Mario told me that verizon will take your old phone, that he had in his hand, and he knew it was iphone 4, for 100 dollar.He also said that my phone is in good shape and has no scratches. He said you just need to go online fill out a form. When I went online to fill out the form, I figured what he told me was not true, I called him back, he said "oh, you needed to fill out the before before the end of the month, which he did not mention at all when he was making the sell. Having being a Verizon customer for 5 years I am very surprised to have walked into a Verizon store where customer experience was great. I have been duped before and have always been skeptical of Verizon stores trying to juice me out. I got to meet mario, Eddie and a new guy named chris. They explained how my new upgrade plan would work. They wrote down everything and disclosed every detail. They were also helpful when backing up personal info and placing into my new phone. While I was there u heard people saying it's not the "real" verizon. I don't care if it's a 3rd party or not. They treated me with respect overall like a real person. Thanks guys. read more

Mark was awesome. He stayed late to help us out (past the 8:00 closing time). He was patient. He was helping multiple customers on his own deescalating issues. He helped me with getting a new phone and doing a drive change and researching data plans. I highly recommend him. The store was also clean and well kept. I would come back again. Just have to say that Mario at Verizon Wireless was so helpful today. I don't envy his job. Having to troubleshoot all the problems of frustrated customers or faulty cell phones is thankless work. Mario was super helpful, very nice and apologetic for a little hiccup in my billing. He even spoke with billing to waive any late fees for an issue that was beyond my control...and I didn't even ask him to do that! I Would recommend him and his counterparts at this location. My girlfriend and I recently switched to Verizon. Verizon has great service but the manager at this store, Mario, screwed us when we signed up. He added a hotspot jetpack box that we had no need for. He said it was free but it is definitely not. Luckily we realized before the 14 days were up so we could return it otherwise we would be stuck with a useless box paying $20 a month for 2 yrs. We also had to return the $100 in accessories that supposedly came with our phones. The not so free accessories actually came from our useless black box. When I confronted Mario and his associate Christen they said my girlfriend and I must have misunderstood. RIGHT, WE BOTH MISUNDERSTOOD. Tmobile did something similar 2 yrs ago and I'm starting to realize these cell phone guys are just as shady as a used car salesman. Stay away from this store. You will regret doing business with this company. They don't tell you about several charges that will be added to your purchase of a phone. They also way overcharge for their phones. I could have bought the phone they sold me for $285.00 for $l50.00 at Amazon. They are not honest and great at giving you the run around and no service or help! read more

The team at this personal store is outstanding- they helped us with all of our questions and did not pressure us to buy anything. They really seem to be a team. Besides our experience, we saw them help someone who came in with a minimum of fuss. They answered all questions honestly with referrals when necessary. If I could give this place a 0 I would. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. This was our 2nd chance for this store first time so awful we didn't want to deal with Verizon anymore and we have been customers for over 15 years. The employees DO NOT CARE. We walked in didn't get greeted there was 4 employees maybe 3 customers when we walked in a customer was obviously frustrated and the employee was as well you could tell the conversation was going no where but the customer was clearly trying to get an explanation and the employee wasn't trying to give one. The guest kept getting upset and was not liking the way she was talking to him ( My husband and I were so frustrated for that customer the employee wasn't even looking at him she was rolling her eyes didn't care at all) there was another employee behind just very relaxed looking leaning against the cabinets behind him when he spoke up and said I've been here for 5mins and I understand everything she is saying ( well duh you understand you work here and deal with this every day) they both continued to have an attitude with this customer when he clearly just doesn't understand what they are saying. They kept saying we will have to escort you out ( for what reason the poor guy just wanted an explanation and they didn't want to explain it to him) all while this is happening we are still waiting to get helped no one has even come up to us then two guys walk in they tell them they will be with them in a sec and this lady comes right around to talk to them WE CLEARLY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR AT LEAST 10 minutes. We decided to walk out we see very bad customer service and haven't even been helped. We will never come back to this store now. read more
