I have been Verizon customer for over 20 years. It was time to get a new phone. I basically knew what I wanted. I was interested in a i16 and interested in given my old to someone else. He explained two or three options with my finances in mind. Johnathan suggested a plan of action, included move all my data, photos, etc to my new 16. Wipe the old phone and loading all their data to my other iPhone. We were not his only customer. Moved between customers smoothly. While I keep my question coming. It was a real pleasure. All I needed was a new sim card. Immediately tried to upsell me to new plan and/or phone. Then wanted to charge me $10 for a new sim, when it is clearly posted on the Verizon website that new sim cards are no cost. I decided to order a new sim via the Verizon website, so yea, I'll have to wait a couple days, but I don't have to deal with retail sales reps. Maybe, just maybe, I'll try the Verizon owned store that's a little bit further away. I bet they wouldn't charge. read more

I must recognize the two employees that helped me with my issue . I began with Oswaldo Alvarado who was very professional friendly and helpful he attempted to resolve my issue . His efforts were appreciated! But then I moved on to Lexi Beltran who went over and above trying to resolve my issue . She was extremely patient , respectful and communicated effectively! So I went in to upgrade my phone when in California visiting family because there was a deal online to trade in my current one to get an iPhone 17 pro for $0.00 a month. Jada assisted me and told me it would be $0.00 a month and I could get an iPad for $100 (I asked her if it was adding a new line, if there would be extra fees, etc. and she said no). I also declined the monthly protection which was $19 a month. When I got home, I realized that it indeed was a new line and we are paying $20 a month for it AND she added the monthly protection after I said no. My phone is also $7 a month instead of the $0.00 that was advertised AND what I was told by my salesperson. I also was charged to set up my phone and iPad in store for $30 each when I was never made aware that was a charge otherwise I would have done it myself. I'm so upset with the disgusting sales tactics they are using there. I cannot believe a company I've been with for years is being this slimy. Total scam...came and bought two new iPhones. Guy was busy with another customer while he told us what to do to transfer old data to new phones. We did the work and were told the price for the phones and what was owed today. He said the receipt would be sent through email. I never got the receipt. When I did the math on what I should have paid it didn't add up. Turns out they add $40 to "assist" with data transfer for each line, so $80 total. I looked at my upcoming bill and he also added a $17 protection plan to both phones without asking. This store is not corporate but an authorized dealer. I'm not going to name drop but one of the employees intentionally tried to sabotage my phone so that it wouldn't work properly. My SIM card was failing before all of this started, so I brought my phone to this store after trying to troubleshoot the phone at home. They removed my 5G SIM card put in a 4G SIM so that it wouldn't work on the Verizon network, they also didn't activate the SIM card that they had put in. Then they tried several times to have me pay off my current phone, to then sell me a new phone instead of doing a insurance claim on my phone. Which since I wasn't budging on buying a new phone they left me at "your phone doesn't work so call your insurance". My wife spent many hours trying to work with insurance company just to have them say go to a approved company to get it looked at and replaced. So I did that, and the place told me that it was due to the wrong SIM card being used and to go to Verizon to have it replaced or use the eSIM card so I did. I went to a corporate Verizon and they put a new 5G SIM card in and it works perfectly now. In conclusion please don't use this place unless you want to get taken for a ride. read more

This store is great. Dennis Brown went above and beyond to help me get my new iPhone working. There were several know. Issues with the iPhone 14 on its release day. Dennis is highly intelligent with the technical details and he knew exactly what to do. It took some time due to the need of updating my old phone but he made it work. I stopped in with my Mom to trouble shoot issues with a closed-caption phone app and The store clerk Ace helped us out. He was AWESOME! He did everything my patience wouldn't allow and we left with our issue resolved. I can't tell you how much I appreciate Nick, the store manager. We have a business account, with Verizon. We've had the account for 5 years. We have had good service, this time, it's been excellent!! He went over my past bills and customized a plan!! For us and added a new line and we also added a iPad! The same price as our plan now!! I'm "not new" when dealing with Mobile phone companies! Do NOT go to this store. They will try to take advantage of you and mark up prices. I was quoted $28 for to add service to a device that a already owned. I asked if that was very best the employee, "Ace" could do? After conversing with his manager, his reply was, "yes". (1 gig) I left and went to the Verizon off Haun. I ended up getting the add on (1 gig) for $15. Additionally, they said I could share my plan for only $10. This option wasn't even presented to me by, "Ace". This review is based upon my two contracts with Verizon from this very store and personal experience with this horrible company as store location. Do not go here unless you enjoy having your money stolen. Services are quite awful, and the sales people lie to get you to sign up. The reception is less than average to poor almost anywhere in Riverside County. Dropped calls and overpriced service for nothing. I get no reception at work, none, nada, nunca, zilch, despite their map telling me I have 4G coverage. Sometimes 3 bars show up on my phone, but this is merely an illusion of service. Sometimes, I can't even call from my own home, despite internet service from, wait for it, Verizon Fios. I contracted both services from this store, like contracting a disease, both are painful and you can't get rid of them, or so I'm told about the latter. I know for fact about the former when under contract.  My phone constantly, everywhere I go, says can't connect to the internet! I get an x for bars nearly everywhere I go in Riverside County. But, here's the best part, the "representative" I spoke with today told me they are not the same company. So that's why my Verizon phone doesn't communicate with my Verizon internet. So I'm paying two companies nearly $500 a month for services that don't work. Go elsewhere, anywhere else for the love of your sanity! You do not get what you pay for. read more

We are a business and have been a customer with Verizon for over 15 years and we just received our billing from purchasing a new phone and accessories from this store and they triple charged us the amount for a screen protector, charger and case. Since we have a business account with Verizon we also receive a discount on all accessory purchases. What would have been $83.97 in purchases turned out to be $311.95 on our invoice. The Customer Rep told me they were getting complaints from this store and they are attempting to rectify it. So please, BUYER BEWARE when you enter this store!!! read more

WE GOT SCAMMED IN MENIFEE, CA I've called Nicholas several times over the past month trying to get answers. He makes more promises but NOTHING gets resolved and I never hear from him again. 1) When we purchased a new phone a couple of years ago, another Verizon "Authorized Retailer" sold us a second tablet that we really did not need but promised to take the original tablet off our account. We only recently realized that the original tablet was still on our account and asked Nicholas to remove it which he said he would. The original tablet is still on our account today, and we are still paying for it for over 2 years now. Not only did Nicholas not remove the original tablet, he tried to sneak a third tablet onto our account. When questioned about it, he said it was just such a good deal he thought he would include it (and it's cost; a tablet we never asked for). 2) Nicholas also sold us two phones (LG-G8) for $840.00 each. He requested a payment of $331.00 in the store (this was in addition to the $1,680.00 worth of phones), and said our next bill would be for around $145.00 per month, and have only one tablet on the account. We received our bill which still included the original tablet, another $80.00 in fees, and totaled over $260.00. Shame on me, but I'm not really completely sure what all of the $331.00 in store charge was even for? We did buy some accessories but Nicholas also failed to give us a receipt for this payment. It certainly wasn't applied to my bill, the additional fees, or the new phones. Shame on me for blindly trusting Nicholas and Victra/ABC Phones of North Carolina to be honest, trustworthy, and legitimate. Take my advice, DO NOT trust these people. Go to an official Verizon retailer or go with another service provider. Update 8/16/19: Although I do respect the fact that Victra 'Corporate' is at least following up on complaints such as mine, I doubt that discussing my concerns in greater detail at this point would resolve anything for me. I finally just contacted the 'real' Verizon and they were able to resolve my issue with the extra tablet in just a few minutes. They also gave me a credit for unused service fees on the extra tablet. And, they seemed to be genuinely and quite concerned about my experience with Victra. I wonder if Nicholas had taken those 'few minutes' to ensure my issue was resolved, if I would be posting this right now, if it would have saved myself all of the anguish, my disdain for the Victra company, discontinued patronage, and scathing review. NOT A VERIZON STORE! This was a horrible experience, I do have to say it started off great. We walked in thinking we were going to get my fiancé a iPhone 7. We were wrong! The gentleman that first greeted us was on the phone and more worried about what sounded like getting his name taken off of something. Problem number 1 Problem 2 Justin boy oh boy, started off super friendly and everything was going smooth until we got to running numbers and figuring out my new bill. His technique is to ramble off a ton of numbers and make it seem like he knows what he is doing but all he is doing is ripping you off. Now for some odd reason I have a new number on my account that I didn't agree too, I have a crazy charge that they made up for their type of store. Remember this is not a Verizon location it's a 3rd party seller! Womp womp 3rd problem, some how we needed up going forward with it all and get home to realize the thing he said was free was actually 89.00 To my bill so I go back to figure it out and get it taken care of he tells me he took 100 off the phone mistake number 4! The phone is 650! Not 750 so now explain how he took 100 dollars off my phone. Well needless to say I returned my phone and will be reporting this location to Verizon because of this. read more

I am beyond pleased with the service at this store. I've been to many and have been a Verizon customer for years. I got to meet the manager at this location, Nick, and he was amazing! Knowledgeable about every phone in that store (technology and I do not get along) and very friendly. I've always hated two things, phone companies and car dealerships. I gotta say, I really lucked out with this store. I've been to another store for a screen protector and felt rushed because maybe it wasn't a good enough sale? I don't know how it works but it was one expensive screen protector. I'm not sure why my original review was removed but let's be clear. This review is written from first hand experience with this company and this location. I bought 3 phone lines from this store. They looked up my work address before I signed a contract and assured me that I would get great service at that address. I get 0 zilch, nada, Niet NO service at my office. I have to use my landline and go through my Secretary to get calls from my children when I'm at work. Again. First hand experience with this store. I've called and tried to rectify the situation but to no avail. They keep giving us the run around. On top of that, my phone has broken twice since April. I've had to use my insurance because the device was defective. I'm going to find another carrier. I advise anyone who wants a good experience to do the same. Do not get Verizon services. This place was a real bummer. We waited what seemed to be an hour for the two salesmen to help the two people in front of us. What was so frustrating, was sitting there as they chatted on, seemingly endlessly, telling personal stories as we waited and waited. It was very important to me that I transfer my old text messages to my new phone. I explained this to the two salesmen. One cell phone "professional" was clueless as to whether or not it could be done or not. The other salesman that "helped" me flat out lied to me about being able to transfer old text messages to the new phone. He told me it was not possible. He then went ahead and transferred my data and set up my new phone. When I returned home, I look up transferring old text messages, and yes it was possible, but to do so you needed to prepare for it before setting up the new phone. You could not do it after the phone was set up, because you needed to get the old texts off and save them from the old phone while it still had service. Now that the new phone was activated, it was not possible to get them off. These employees at this location were either poorly trained or uneducated in the field they are working in, or just too lazy to make the effort. Either way, I will not be coming back here. read more

This place is so shady and unprofessional. I got pushed into getting a specific phone I did not want but because it "was such a good deal" and came with a phone case and a screen protector so I figured why not. The price ended up being $100 more than what he said it would be. They didn't give any receipt directly so when I got the email I was irritated that I was charged for all of the things that the phone was supposed to come with. When Michael the manager followed up I brought it to his attention and he said his new associate messed up and I was due a $50 refund and he should have it to me within a few days. Fast forward a week and a half later and 4 emails to him later he is completely dodging me and being shady. I will never go there again and I had no idea it was not a Verizon store but instead a "Verizon authorized retailer". A few weeks ago I went to this store to order a phone which was going to be delivered in 2 days (Friday). I needed this upgraded phone for an appointment on Monday at the VA. The phone did not show Friday or Saturday and wasn't available for my Monday morning appointment. After visiting the VA I did pick up the phone and was assisted moving data/pictures from my old phone to my new phone. At this point my review would have been a "3." Recently I found that 4 videos that were in a text, and important to me, did not transfer over because they were not in my gallery. Today I went into the store, and believe the person there was the manager with no other customers. I asked the gentleman if he could help me or instruct me how to get the videos from the text from my old phone to my new phone. He told me I needed to go to Best Buy and get a stick to download the videos and transfer them and they should be able to help you. Either he had no interest or did not know how to assist me - both are not good if you are in the business. I did go to Best Buy, and come to find out, if I push and hold my finger on the video I could save the videos to my old phone's Gallery, then send it to myself in an email as long as my old phone was logged into Wi-Fi. The Geek Squad lady assisted me in less than 5 minutes. This Verizon store is a waste of time and I will never go back, poor customer service.
