This place is so shady and unprofessional. I got pushed into getting a specific phone I did not want but because it "was such a good deal" and came with a phone case and a screen protector so I figured why not. The price ended up being $100 more than what he said it would be. They didn't give any receipt directly so when I got the email I was irritated that I was charged for all of the things that the phone was supposed to come with. When Michael the manager followed up I brought it to his attention and he said his new associate messed up and I was due a $50 refund and he should have it to me within a few days. Fast forward a week and a half later and 4 emails to him later he is completely dodging me and being shady. I will never go there again and I had no idea it was not a Verizon store but instead a "Verizon authorized retailer". A few weeks ago I went to this store to order a phone which was going to be delivered in 2 days (Friday). I needed this upgraded phone for an appointment on Monday at the VA. The phone did not show Friday or Saturday and wasn't available for my Monday morning appointment. After visiting the VA I did pick up the phone and was assisted moving data/pictures from my old phone to my new phone. At this point my review would have been a "3." Recently I found that 4 videos that were in a text, and important to me, did not transfer over because they were not in my gallery. Today I went into the store, and believe the person there was the manager with no other customers. I asked the gentleman if he could help me or instruct me how to get the videos from the text from my old phone to my new phone. He told me I needed to go to Best Buy and get a stick to download the videos and transfer them and they should be able to help you. Either he had no interest or did not know how to assist me - both are not good if you are in the business. I did go to Best Buy, and come to find out, if I push and hold my finger on the video I could save the videos to my old phone's Gallery, then send it to myself in an email as long as my old phone was logged into Wi-Fi. The Geek Squad lady assisted me in less than 5 minutes. This Verizon store is a waste of time and I will never go back, poor customer service. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was at a car dealership. It was such a mistake to go into this store. The guy kept trying to change my phone plan and kept trying to add the iPad plan. I had to tell him NO multiple times. I just wanted to get my mom a new phone. Upon paying, they said I was ONLY going to be paying the taxes of the phone.. even the store manager confirmed it! But after seeing the receipt, they charged me some "Set Up and Go Plus" $19.99 fee and "Redux Multi-Device Membership - Parent 1" $29.99 fee. On top of all that, the actual phone cost was marked at $710.00 when it's suppose to be $699.00. I was told the authorized retailers can change the prices to what they want. I ended up returning the phone the next day.. they gave me such a hassle making me wait for the guy that sold it to me... what if he wasn't working?!? My associate was Alex and he was extremely helpful. My galaxy s4 had completely crashed, it wouldn't load up at all. He spent about an hour and a half with me trouble shooting and trying to fix my phone. We went through steps we could take because we couldn't get it working talked about adding a line, and getting a new phone but luckily he was able to find a way for me to replace my phone without having to buy a completely new phone. Coming from a customer service background I really appreciate him going out of his way and spending so much extra time with me trying to find the best fix for me and my budget. read more

this is one of those times that i wish yelp would allow negative stars. if the rating system was a -5 to +5, this place would be a -25! i need to preface by saying that i have been a verizon wireless customer for probably 10 years or so. in addition, when i moved to canyon lake a couple of years ago, i added verizon fios, internet, and two phone lines to the works. i have been a satisfied customer up to now. they say that you only find out how good customer service is when something goes wrong. in other words: as long as everything is working the way it should be, we assume that the customer service is good; it is only when things go wrong that you find out the true level of customer service. late last year, my wife and i decided to upgrade our phones and make some adjustments to our plan. the lady "delara" at this store appeared exteremely accomodating and set us up. she stressed that we could always return the phones within 30 days if we were not satisfied. within days we received a letter from verizon "verifying" something that we had not agreed to. going back to the store and making numerous phone calls the situation got resolved - but only after the "real" verizon told us that this store (a franchise) did not know what it was doing. so then, after having numerous drop and freezing problems, we decided to return the phones. (20 days or so after purchase). it was a nightmare, but finally happened. we were charged a $35/phone restocking fee, but that was ok. we had several other issues appear at this time that turned us off against verizon in general, but we at least thought that that nightmare was over. now keep in mind that our usual bill for the mobile/data services was $160-180/month. imagine our surprise when i received a $435 bill last week! so i just spent 45 minutes on the phone with the "real" verizon. it appears that the store set us up with a "phantom" number in order to give us a "better" deal. verizon added $235 to our bill as an "early termination" fee. so according to "loretta" at "real verizon" this has now been credited to our account. during our call she made 2 attempts to call the store and could not get through: VERIZON CANNOT GET THROUGH TO A VERIZON STORE!!! isn't that impressive?... bottom line now is this: (1) i have cancelled our fios and gotten a dish. works great and makes me feel better to be paying verizon less money; (2) am researching ways to change our internet and phone service; (3) trying to figure out a way to drop verizon completely, though this is difficult with family and friends. lessons learned: (1) BIGGIE: do not EVER deal with a verizon "Premium Retailer". this is code language for being a franchise, meaning that the master company may or may not stand behind them; (2) read all of the small print. don't sign ANYTHING until you have read it. from now on, i am going to tell anyone that wants we to sign many multiple pages to print them up and i will read them at home. will not sign otherwise. in the meantime, i think that i am going to put this post in a nice note and tape it to their front door. i may also print up 50 copies and drop them off to store customers when i happen to drive by (quite frequently). should be fun! ps: yelp people - please consider a -5 to +5 scale. would be much more telling and fun! read more

The one good thing I experienced in my 3 day journey with this store was the personalized customer service. The new manager was very friendly, and briefed me that he was trying to change things around the store. I needed a new phone and he was capable of getting me one, although explaining the process of receiving it was awfully confusing. At one point, the manager was speaking negatively of a fellow employee in front of me to another team member which made me feel uncomfortable. Then he told an employee that he had been late before, and the employee told him "absolutely not, I've never been late EVER." Just seemed like these topics should be talked about behind closed doors and not in front of customers. They also told me that if j got a wireless wifi adapter, I would get an extra 5gb of data for only $10 extra a month. When I left that day, I was under the impression that this was true. When I showed up the next day, they told me that I did not get the extra 5gb of data so I just have this wifi adapter that I don't even need because I have wifi in my house. I was told that I needed to wait 72 hours to get my number changed back to my old number, since the only way I could leave with a phone that day was to get a new number. If I didn't change it back to my old original number, I would be charged an extra $35 on my next bill. So I got home that night, and my iPhone 5s that I had purchased was completely messed up, I have never seen an iPhone act so crazy! Anyways, not necessarily their fault. So I came back the next day, and they gave me another phone. I waited the 72 hour period and called to talk to the manager and he wasn't there. So they told me they would leave him a message and he would call me the next day. Fast forward 2 more days... I call and speak to another employee, told him I had called everyday to speak to the manager and he was never there. I didn't appreciate being ignored especially at the cost of paying more money on my bill. This team member told me that "we don't always have time to get back to everyone, we get really busy." Definitely not an acceptable response! So I let him know that, and he apologized, but none the less, I wasn't happy. So the next day, the manager called me and fixed my phone issue. My original bill is normally $205, and I just received this months bill and its $365.71!!!!! Always go to a legitimate verizon store, not a verizon carrier. I will never, ever, EVER go to this place again, and I would advise anyone to do the same!! read more

Worst exerience ever, sales rep lied to me about the jetpack, saying it was free when i purchased my new phone. Then they had the nerve to refuse to take it back after i received my bill 19 days later, (they have a 14 day return however how are you suppose to know until the bill comes?) they also DID NOT give me a printout of what the bill was going to be but instead wrote it out on a scratch piece of paper. Shady people in there, they will do anything to get a sale. And since my return to the store to rectify this issue was not resolved, I had to call customer service to get this fixed. No acknowledgment was given to the two waiting customers. Worse customer service I've encountered! Verizon you may THINK you are number 1, however many of your customers don't! WHERE IS THE 0 STARS? THIS COMPANY DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS! Worst service I have ever experienced period and their Corporate Office is more of the same horrible customer service. Went in with my wife to get her phone upgraded, they couldn't do it but said they could on mine which I had a 5S I was happy with. Sales man said that he could get me the I6 I would have to buy the case and protector plus pay tax which came to $130.00 and my monthly bill would go down $10.00 per month. I asked 3 times if the bill would be cheaper and each time I was told yes, my wife was right next to me and heard it too. I also told the sales person I was not in a contract and would not upgrade if there was a term or contract attached which he assured me there would not be, again witnessed by my wife. Fast forward a month first bill comes in and yup its $10.00 less, great. Fast forward another month bill is now up $40.00 from my original bill, so it is now up $50.00 and I am put on a edge program which is 20 payments or $40.00 per month, so a contract totaling $800.00 that I owe and can not get out of. I immediately went to the store and dealt with a assistant manager who was very nice and tried to help but could only lower my bill by $10 per month so he recommended I come back the next day to talk to the Store Manager Joel. I went in the next day and to shorten this review I was told in a condescending voice I should have came back in 14 days to change the contract, I replied the first bill was as promised it took 2 months to find out I was lied too, Joel replied, we are all adults and I should have known what I was signing. When I signed the contract on a iPad the sales man scrolled to the areas to sign then gave it to me to sign. I asked for the owner to call me about the situation as I felt I was taken advantage of, Joel smirked and said I was egotistical to think that the owner would call me. I asked for something to write on and his name and the owners name, Joel replied I knew his name and he would not give me his last name and he would not give me the owners name or the corporate number. He said, I could look on google and by the way I have a smart phone. Joel added he would not help me because I was cursing at him. I never cursed at him but apologized for cursing and that I was just upset and P.O. about being lied too. He replied if I am cursing while talking with him I am cursing at him. He said if I would not have cursed at him he would have helped me. I told him he was the most unprofessional manager I have ever had to deal with and as I turned to leave he said I could "get sta step-in (thats not a misspell)" I turned around and asked if he just said that and he replied yes! get sta step-in! I was dazed that I had just been verbally attacked by a manager not to mention other customers were in the store witnessed the whole thing, as I was exiting he threw one more "step off" at me. I left the store and called Verizon Corporate only to find out that they are not affiliated with Verizon and they have had multiple complaints about them. I went on google to get the corporate information and called the corporate office which took my info and notes and said they would look into it. This was at the end of October, over 2 weeks later I get a e-mail stating "we verified what I said occurred that day and the District Rep would be in touch. It has been 3 months and I have e-mailed their corporate office again because no one has contacted me. To date I still have not had my issue rectified nor have I even received a call or e-mail back from anyone from corporate. If you wonder why the employees act the way they do it is because corporate doesn't care about the customers just about selling phones. Also the way that corporate dealt with the situation was to move this Manager Joel to their other store off Scott Rd in Menifee. Do yourself a favor go to a Corporate Verizon Store, they have great customer service and if there is a issue you can go direct to corporate who will fix it. Avoid any 4g Wireless stores they are scam artist and liars! They brand there stores with the Verizon logo in large print with 4g Wireless under so it looks like a corporate Verizon store. 4G Wireless puts policies in place that protect them after they screw you over, that way they are legal in taking advantage of customers. read more

my experience with this store has been terrible, and i would not recommend it to ANYONE. my family and i recently moved from virginia to sun city, and all three of our phones were available for upgrades. we canceled one phone line, added a home phone line and "MiFi" internet service, and upgraded 2 cell phones. while in the store, an "unexplained charge" - that had previously been paid, months ago - showed up on the account. it took hours to resolve this before we could make our purchases. we were in the store for about 4 hours, not including a break we took to eat. so far, we've had no issues with the actual cell service or home phone/internet (other than the fact that MiFi internet is unbearably slow and expensive). HOWEVER, a few days after leaving the store, we were billed for over $1,300 worth of "roaming charges" when we had previously all been under a nationwide plan. the only way to prove we had a nationwide plan rather than a state-specific plan was to show the store a "log book" of places we'd used the phones. luckily, we were able to resolve this, but other customers who venture into this store may not be so lucky. since moving, we also decided to get new phone numbers to reflect the correct area code. this store has not canceled my old phone number, and refuses to do so until we pay an "early termination fee" - the other two phone numbers have been disconnected without issue, as we were promised. for some reason this one has not been. also, we specified a plan with unlimited texting for one of the phones, and it has not been billed to reflect this. we have yet to return the home phone line and internet service - instead opting for fios through an ACTUAL verizon store - and i am absolutely dreading the encounter. save yourself the time and hassle and go to a reputable store. these people are NOT verizon employees, and they try hard to bad-mouth the legitimate verizon store that happens to be just down the street, saying that they're lazy workers who disrespect their customers. it makes me wonder how things truly operate in a "premium retailer" store. also, i'm not sure how much of this is just normal phone salesman technique, but i was berated by nearly every employee for choosing to purchase an iphone 4, even by an employee who OWNS AN IPHONE HERSELF. i chose the iphone, and was told by two separate employees that my choice was a bad one and i should instead get the droid - which, unsurprisingly, cost $100 more. a third employee told me that the droid is a much better choice, and that she "only bought the iphone because it was white". i'm inclined to believe this store gets a much bigger payoff when they sell a droid rather than an iphone - such a large payoff that they resort to bothering customers who have expressed their opinions on the matter several times. read more

Because this store is close to where my father lives, he went in to obtain a manual on a new phone I gave him. I will spare you all the details, but the sales staff convinced him to purchase another item of which he had no prior knowledge, did not need, did not want, nor did he inquirer about. On day 10 (with a 14-day return policy), my dad attempted to return the item. The sales staff became surly and disrespectful. My father was told there would be a re-stocking fee and only the manager (who was not on duty that day) could authorize the return. I subsequently called Verizon from my cell phone. Before I'd even finished my explanation, the customer service representative audibly sighed and said she knew exactly what was going on. She apologized profusely, explained that this store is NOT A VERIZON STORE, and asked that we take the item to a Verizon corporate store where they too apologized, and then very happily processed the return. Apparently the corporate store has received other victims from this particular retailer. It bears repeating that Verizon staff members are embarrassed by the antics of this retailer! read more

This place is a joke!!! Stay away! Do not have "Peter " help you!! My iPhone charging port went out on my phone that I purchased 8 months ago from this place. I spent over $300 to purchase this phone from this store even though I was eligible for a upgrade. So after going back to them "Peter" told me that my phone was not under warranty and that I needed to purchase another phone for $460 and pay a $100 activation fee! At that point I called bullshit to him and walked out of the store. I drove down the street 1 mile to a "True" Verizon store, after the sales rep trying to help me with my phone for about 2 minutes determined that it was non-repairable and then proceeded to tell me that my phone is under warranty and that they will ship me a new phone within 24 hours!! Yep and she was rite I had my new phone at my house within 24 hours later and did not have to pay a penny out of pocket!! Scam alert. This place is the biggest ripoff there is. It's not Verizon. It's Victra. They lied to me, told me a hotspot was unlimited data. I asked them repeatedly that there was no bandwidth throttling limits, and they assured me. Within 6 hours of returning home, I hit my monthly limit. I went to return it the next day, since the salesman Jason and the store manager lied to me.They promise a refund if you return it in 14 days. Not true. To return it cost another 50 bucks and they kept the original 300 I paid. They tried to keep ripping me off, by trying to sign paperwork saying I would pay them another 300 on my next bill. Caught them, took about a week of going in there everyday and waiting on average 4 hours. At which point I also saw a fistfight almost break out between Jason and someone else he ripped off. Theanager tells them to lie, I heard them lying to old people whole I was there waiting. They will lie, steal, and rip you off. Do not go here, you have been warned. A 350 dollar, mistake on my part for thinking they were verizon. Massive scumbags work here. Avoid at all cost, because they trick people into signing for all these other massive fess. It's nice to deal with people that actually know what they are talking about and understand the needs of a customer by asking good questions. Store manager do not have good customer service skills. All he cared about is store and not go above his manager duties to help me out with my situation. My phone needed to be repaired and no one in that store is not knowledgeable in regards to upgrades, my phone which needed to be repaired.
