I came in to drop off an ipad for trade in. A man took it - but while I sat across from him I get an email that my trade-in was cancelled. I asked him about it and he did not respond. Stupidly I assumed it was a mistake since he took the ipad and gave me a receipt. Needless to say my ipad is gone and I did not get the trade in credit. I called the store and was told to come back in blah, blah, blah. Whatever. For Verizon-when I purchased a new ipad online it told me $600 credit even with a cracked screen. At the store they said $12.50. I called customer service he said they would honor the $600 after they received the ipad and to call back the next Friday. I called back and the new customer service man did not honor the $600. 8 phone lines & multiple new phones for 19 years--looking into switching from Verizon due to poor customer service. 19 years x 12 months x avg $500 mo = $114,000 paid to Verizon. read more

Pretty disappointed between Saeed & the manager Kendall, who made it an effort to tell me she's been managing there for 20+ years but can't fix my problem that they created? Saeed himself was a helpful sales rep during the purchasing process of course. But at the time Verizon had a pay off your AT&T phone promo that was suppose to take 4-6 weeks (mind you we're talking at least 1.3k to help pay off our old phones). Well we started our plan Nov. 7th, now it's January 17th and still nothing. Went in to Verizon last Saturday, spoke to Octavio (who was very kind & helpful) and was told that since he was not the writing agent that there was nothing he could do and would pass it along to Saeed. Octavio told me that it was probably a processing error and that he could fix it the next day when he came back to work. I got a phone call from Saeed to approve the changes on my account only to get another message saying that I would have to wait another 4-6 weeks... not super cool. Anyways with a lot of back and forth saying there was nothing he could do I asked him to have his manager call me. Now it's Friday, just received a call from her. She tried to tell me that well you have to wait another 6 weeks because the authorization was denied the first time and why didn't I come in earlier? She didn't believe me when I said I've gotten no emails from Verizon, which I haven't because it seems to me like he did it wrong the first time and they are just now putting it through. She then told me well I would have to wait again, and I made sure to tell her that the promo is extremely misleading and I do not feel comfortable being deceived to like that. I asked her to speed up the process and she kept saying "you can call loyalty, there's nothing I can do." I talked to customer service the week prior and they told me that everything done in the store like purchasing has to be done there and he couldn't help me either. I asked her if there was someone above her and she told me no, "Call loyalty". You're telling that you're the top person to talk to? As someone who's been with Verizon over 15 years I just have a hard time believing that. I said there's no regional manager and she continued to tell me just "call loyalty". Oh and I called loyalty, the phone was ringing for about 30 minutes before I just gave up. Pretty annoyed with all of this. I will be upgrading at a different store in the future. Well I'm pretty disappointed to say the least, just trying to pay off my old phone bill with the other guys and they are acting like I have thousands just to throw at other places in HOPES I maybe get the payout I was suppose to receive already? So take it from me and unfortunately all the others in this comment section to go to a different Verizon if you want your situation to go smooth and correctly the first time. read more

Since Verizon re-acquired Frontier the service has consistently degraded. Couple that with an 18% increase, and it is a typical Verizon bad deal. Unfortunately in some areas of Menifee we are restricted to a very limited number of internet service providers. Historically Verizon has been more costly, and provided poorer service than many other similar corporations. read more

FIRE NICK! This guy lies he has cause me more frustration with my Verizon account. I have been with Verizon for over 7 yrs and have been perfectly happy with the plan I had. I came in to up grade my phone and nothing more. He changed my plan he added someone to my account without my permission . He added the most expensive plan that Verizon has to my account. I went from 130.00 per month to $366.00 When I got my bill I was shocked!! I came back into the store to fix things. he would not come out of the back room at 1st . When he did come one he says he continued to lie about everything and then when I asked him to explain how my boyfriend got on my account he said well "I am sure I already told you what I did". He didn't he had also told us he was going to give me insurance on my phone for 3 months for free. But was charged 3 months in advance. My advice is stay far from this store!!' read more

Update: This response on yelp is all I have heard from Verizon as of 10/11/23. That's escalated? Came here to replace a broken phone for an employee and specifically asked for the least expensive phone I could pay for without making payments since it was a replacement. Nick said I could get a 3rd gen iPhone SE for $35. What he didn't say was it was only $35 today and expect payments for the full price for the next 3 years. My bad for believing what I am told, but even so why is the "bill to account" ZERO??? If I conducted business as slimy as this I would be out of business. I know Verizon does not care about our business or they would of made some kind of effort to make it right. Instead, they only confirmed it just sucks to be me. I am writing this review to help the next customer avoid being deceived by such slimy tactics. This is my 2nd recent visit to this Verizon store. It was Monday at 1:30pm and it was pretty busy. We checked in and began receiving update texts as to where we were in line. It took about 10 minutes and Christian assisted us with a phone trade-in and the purchase of accessories. One of the purchases was a new screen protector for an iPhone 14 plus. Christian brought out this screen installer and perfectly installed the screen onto the phone. I'll only have these guys do this job, it was perfectly straight with no bubbles, and he did it so fast, but with the utmost care. We also asked to see a phone case and described what we were looking for. A basket of cases was brought out and each one shown. Christian was so patient and personable, he made the entire transaction so pleasant. He was also able to get us $400 for the trade-in, along with 30% off an accessory bundle purchase. I purchased the phone from Said (Saeed?) about 3 weeks ago and had the same great experience with him. Employees not helping us gave a greeting and made sure we didn't have any questions. I was looking at a JBL boom box and an employee came up and explained its features and the current sale price without asking, I like that kind of customer service. I don't understand some of the other reviews because I had 2 back-to-back very positive experiences at this store. I applaud these employees and really appreciate their sense of care when it comes to their customers, especially Christian. And, of course, Saeed. I highly recommend this Verizon store and hope that you will also have the same great experience I had. I will definitely be back to this store for all of my Verizon transactions. read more

Customer service is Amazing !! had gone to Best Buy to receive help with my new phone and couldn't even get one staff member to look at me. Stood in line for about 30 mins and never had one employee help me. I have been a loyal customer for over 16 years. I am LIVID as I'm going through a nightmare of an experience. I went in and purchased a new phone, and the associate who assisted me assured that the Bluetooth phone data transfer would take about 10-15 min. Upon arriving home, the process did not work, and while troubleshooting over WiFi, the process required to be restarted 4 times which took 5 hours. The troubles did not end there, as after the data was finally copied, what could not be transferred was the "E-Sim" effectively making both of my phones useless to try and use cellular service to call anyone for help as they are basically both in purgatory!!! AND to top it off, my Verizon account is stuck in a perpetual loop of being locked out and changing the password so I cannot even reach out that way???? I tried using a phone from another carrier and there was no way to get through to anyone. UPDATE: I have now called tech support through another line on my account and her phone, and the call suddenly dropped and signal is lost on her phone now as well!!!! We are BOTH now effectively stuck with no service and I am missing work. And you guys have the audacity to charge a $30 set-up and handling fee??? You have wasted hours and hours of time, frustrated me to extreme lengths, and cost me a day of work. You are about to lose a customer over this completely unacceptable freak show of an incident that is still going on. read more

Verizon is so unorganized that I don't know how they stay in business. It's almost impossible to get a human customer service person on the phone when you have an issue, but if you are signing up for being a new customer they make sure somebody answers. I just wanted to get the home internet it should have been a simple and easy transaction and install, but I had to jump through a 100 hoops and spent 2 days trying to activate it with a bunch of calls to customer service. We finally left in tears and full anxiety. I've never been talked to so rude and with no help. I WILL NEVER come back... I went to another Verizon on my way home and that store wasn't cooperate but I walked away with a phone and came up with every solution possible and was so passive on finding answers for me and calling customer service for me. Gary came out to our home and it took him a few hours to get it all hooked up. It was not his fault as we are in the middle of construction on our home and some of the electrical isn't hooked up. He never once said he would be back when the house is finished. He stayed and searched a few different options which we really appreciated. He was very kind and helpful. Plus he was a veteran so that made everything that much better. We have been with Frontier for a few years now and have never had any issues. When we call they are always helpful and answer any questions. Definitely recommend them to everyone! Update: Rafael came out to switch us from coax to Ethernet cable and did an awesome job. He was extremely knowledgeable and very patient in explaining it to us. We have been very happy with Verizon Fios and the techs they have sent to our home. Then April 1 and Frontier took over.....oh my god what a fricking mess. Starting with jacking my bill up snd keeping me on hold for hours.....lost my on demand capabilities, lost my hbo on demand. Recently went to upgrade my phone with my friend who was also upgrading. Melanie helped us, she was very informative and knowledgable. She answered all of our questions and concerns. This was the fastest I've ever upgraded, she was so quick. The manager of the store was super nice too, not that it matters but she was playing some great music which probably made our experience even better because it wasn't annoying music lol If I had to say one thing bad it would be that my phone didn't get activated in store but we were all joking around so she probably just missed that step. She did put my screen protector and case on though. The activation was a quick fix when I got home. Just called Verizon after hours help line and the rep helped me out super easy/fast. read more
