My advice to whoever is managing this store is to TRAIN those kids you hire before you let them loose on the public. Most recently I had the rudest little girl in my face trying to tell me I must have let my minutes/money run out or 90 days had passed since I'd added to my "pay as you go account" (ancient account but suites my needs). Otherwise she couldn't imagine why, and did nothing to try and figure out why, each time i tried to add minutes in my usual way, calling 611 from my phone, i kept getting a message saying "i am experiencing technical difficulties at this time please try again later". This kept up for 5 days and I had no luck with any Verizon web pages or 1-800 numbers. I was basically being told by very rude people, just go to the store to add minutes. Well, NO! During one phone call I finally got transferred after i don't know how many times to a nice young man in the state of Georgia who figured it out. About a week before all this I had been to Long Beach Verizon store to have my number changed. This very nice, pleasant young lady helped me but didn't finish the required process to get my info switched over to the new number and so, the recorded message. The guy in Georgia figured this out with one click of his mouse. Train those kids on the products and services they are supposed to be selling and teach them some manners while you're at it. You aren't doing them any favors letting them treat the public the way some of them there do. read more

Worst Customer Service ever! I went to get a problem resolved and waited there for 30 minutes until someone actually talked to me. They could not even resolve my problem, because there was only one person in the store that was able to solve my problem according to them and she was not there of course and that she would call me when she would get there. Four days later and I'm still waiting for that call. The only thing they wanted when I was at the store was to upgrade to a new phone. Avoid them if you can, because they won't resolve anything due to their terrible customer service. read more

I have been a Verizon customer for many years. I agree with the review that this store used to be my preferred Verizon location. Not anymore. The notion of good customer service seems to be a thing of the past. Employees here seemed unconcerned with trying to do what is best for the customer. Some have bad attitudes that do not belong in this type of service business. Some employees have very little knowledge regarding the products they are selling and Verizon policies. I am considering writing a letter to senior Verizon management. The store manager here did not do anything to try to retain my business as a long time Verizon customer. I am now considering a move to another wireless company. At the very least, I will not be returning to this Verizon store. read more

Just got back from a Sunday morning at Verizon on Bellflower. We were dreading it because it wasn't for a fun new phone ---it was to deal with a data problem. We lucked out and had James help us. The problem started out baffling even for him. He stuck with us--found the source of the problem. Taught us a few things about our 6+. He didn't rush us or make us feel stupid. We were not his biggest sale of the day (we did get a screen protector), but he was nice and helpful. Will go back and hopefully be able to request him. read more

I knew there would be a long wait when I went but I did not have any time constraints and it was the closest Verizon Wireless store to where I lived. I finally got to see someone 15 minutes after I walked in the door. He was polite and attentive. When I told him what was wrong with the phone, he did not seem to have an answer nor did he escalate it to someone who might. He simply said "let's try a reset and see if that fixes the problem". I asked him what I would lose on a reset and he told me everything would be "just fine". Of course, just as he hit the reset button, I asked him about anything I had customized and he said I would lose it. Gee, he might have told me that BEFORE he hit "reset"??? It took me at least 30 minutes to re customize everything after I left. He was completely worthless. read more

30 minute wait just to get a new device activated after Tier 2 support sent me here specifically. Just give me the SIM card and let me do it myself. read more

I've been coming to this store for a couple of years now. The service here is great the wait time is not bad for the size and volume of the store. In the last month a had to replace 3 phones due to a crack screen, upgrade, and one phone had software issues. I was help by Nanis Gad "Solutions Specialist" she ask me a few questions to make sure I had the right plan and phone. Shortly after that I had a new iPhone 6 with all my contacts and emails! Thanks Nanis you saved the day! I used my phone for work 90% the time without those contacts I would have been in a tough spot. It's nice to talk to someone with good listening skills that takes the time to hears what your needs are. Big Thanks to Nanis & the rest of Verizon's team members for the great help and support... Keep up the GOOD WORK! You have our business Southwest HVAC Inc. read more

Big shout out to Keia Dawson and her crew at this location. I came in with some questions and needed a solution, she went above and beyond! Left with everything I needed and more. Promote her asap, she understands customer service and satisfaction, after many troubles with Verizon over service and pricing have left me with a sometimes not so sweet taste in my mouth I walked out of this store last night very happy!! Single employees can and do represent the company and she is doing a great job. read more

We needed an early upgrade and received excellent service from the manager Daniel and our sales rep Nana! Nana spent a lot of time with us and was extremely patient, very nice, and very professional. There were some issues getting the contacts to transfer on my phone, even though they transferred smoothly on my husbands. Nana didn't give up and tried different options which took more time but when we left both of our new IPhone6 were working perfectly and we are very happy! Daniel heard that Costco had offered us a particular deal and to keep us as a customer at their store he matched the Costco deal, which made us extremely happy! We'd recommend this location to anyone. And yes, in reading some of the reviews, other's say the wait time can be a bit longer, but that's because this location is popular...I believe I heard you can make an appointment so if your short on time inquire about that option. We will always give our business to this location and hope that Nana or Daniel is working! read more

My fiance and I recently switched our service to Verizon and had an issue with one of the phones we had purchased. Upon returning to the store a manager by the name of Charles and an associate were standing at the door and made no effort to greet us as we stood in front of them. When I asked for assistance the associate asked what he could help me with. Half way through my explanation the manager Charles interrupted me and said just sign in. He didn't care what the issue I had was. After waiting 20 mins for assistance an associate informed us we would need to bring in the box for him to help us. That was something that could have been said the minute we walked in the door. The manager had such poor customer service We will find another store to frequent. read more

I was SWINDLED into accepting a (so-called) FREE tablet from this store. This FALSE PRETENSE is a DECEPTION, as well as a FRAUD. I have been a customer for years, and never did I expect the "bait and switch" deception by giving me a "free" tablet, only to receive a new much higher billing statement! read more

It has to be difficult to work at a cell phone store. Seems like everyone is in a bad mood everytime I visit this location. I find everyone is always helpful here and take care of my needs. Thank you staff read more

this certain guy Mike who assist us do not know how to keep his word. we asked him to keep our old phone so we can tansfer the pictures in our new phone. he promised that he will call us but when we come back he already turned in the phone. he was making excuses that the phone doesnt turn on but it was working fine when we gave it to him. it might be nothing to him but this is important to us. My interaction with both the Verizon phone sales person, Maurice, and Valarie at this store were professional and positive. Although it took them some time, both made it possible for the phone to be picked up by my son at the store the following day. Unfortunately, Eddie Guerrero was there the following day and would not let him take the phone. He was rude and patronizing and would not surrender this almost $1000 phone I had paid for, even though the two other employees had already contacted the bank and made arrangements. Thanks to Mr. Guerrero I had to call Verizon again, wait on the phone, talk to another help person. She had to call Mr Guerrero at the store and tell him to give us the phone. I will never go to this store as long as Eddie Guerrero is working there. The other three Verizon employees I dealt with were professional and efficient. This is the first negative Yelp review I've ever submitted read more

On a whim, I decided to stop into this Verizon store to pick up a new iPhone (an upgrade - my contract ended years ago) . I had priced it online and knew which options I wanted. I gave the salesman my phone number and told him which model and monthly plan I wanted. Then, he told me (yes told me!) that we were now going to look at accessories. I informed him that I had already researched accessories online and didn't want any at this time. He kept pestering me, so I told him that I only wanted the phone. He then went into the back room to get the phone and returned with it...and a basket of accessories. He said, "I know you said you didn't want accessories, but I'm going to show you..." or something to that effect. I again told him that I wasn't interested in accessories and if he asked me again, I was going to walk out of the store. CLUE!, salesguy, I've had enough...just sell me a phone! So THEN, he started telling me that smartphones are made of glass and needed accessories. I let out a heavy sigh and walked out. VERIZON...HELLO...you just lost a sale! My contract was up years ago...HELLO...I can switch providers at any time...HELLO...wouldn't it make sense to listen to ME as a customer, upgrade me to a new phone--meaning a new two-year contract--rather than pushing accessories that I don't want onto me and risk losing my business? HELLO Verizon, you just lost not only a sale, you lost a customer...I have no contractual obligation with you any longer...I'll go elsewhere. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. A lovely, personable sales rep helped me upgrade my phone today. She is very good at getting everything done quickly and with a smile, and very good at selling you stuff. Unfortunately, she does not have the ability to get things done well. She told me she transfered all my data (photos, videos, contacts, apps) to my new phone. I get home only to realize that NONE of my videos are transferred and there are only a few of my pictures on my new phone. I called and asked where could they be...immediately she got defensive and basically said it wasn't her fault, that she was only trying to help me and if the format wasn't right, that wasn't on her. While that might be true, she NEVER warned me that that could be a possibility. Besides, how could it be that photos I took today on my old phone are somehow magically a different format than the ones I took last week? She effed up and knew it. In my experience, that's when people get defensive. I do not recommend. read more

After having a 5 GB Jetpack plan for 3 years, with my average usage being about 1 GB per month, Verizon is saying that in 6 days, from August 25th to August 31st, 2015 my usage was over 21 GB. This device is mainly used for emails and it has not been used any differently than in previous months. It seems very suspicious that they told me about this over usage during a phone conversation that I had with them to close the account because I haven't been using it very much. Their investigation into the matter consisted of a customer service representative looking at her computer screen and saying that yes you used them the data and nothing will be credited even after I explained that these charges were not correct. She refused to send me any documentation verifying the charges. This type of behavior is not a reflection of the employees in the Verizon store that are very nice. It appears to corporate mandate to make additional profits using dishonest methods. Recent class action law suits seem to confirm Verizon's willingness to participate in dishonest billing practices. Wow! Problem solved in less time and for less $$ than I had anticipated! The customer service was prompt, attentive, and outstanding overall. Gilberto was personable and incredibly genuine in our conversation. I shared my dilemma and he went straight into problem solving. My dilemma was my daughters phone had been deactivated unexpectedly by the previous account holder. I couldn't add her to my account since its a corporate account but Gilbert offered a great plan and product I couldn't refuse. As he worked through the application I mentioned the process was going faster than I thought. I let him know I needed to be in Fountain Valley in 45 minutes and he didn't skip a beat. He had already been working on a quick resolution but added more urgency while still being friendly and helpful. I walked out of there completely set up and made it to my next stop with 5 minutes to spare! Thank you Gilberto! read more

This particular store has poor management and service. My Note 5 was warm, battery not charging well and not holding a charge. I went a few days ago and the woman that helped me didn't have my phone in her hands more than 3 minutes. She told me that since I have accidental warranty coverage, I would need to go home, remove all of the apps on my phone and factory reset it. Then she wanted me to check if the problem still remained. I told her that I would NOT go through all of this, when they should be just replacing the phone. She stated that this was the policy for several years. I asked her why almost a year ago, they just replaced it. She responded that, as she stated, this is the current policy. I confronted her with her previously stating that it was policy for several years. She told me there was nothing she could do for me until they see in their computer that I did a factory reset. Soooo, I went home and called technical service. THEY were wonderful and immediately sent a replacement. They also took the time to explain the apps that I could used to transfer all of the data from my old phone to the new one. THIS LOCATION SUCKS! read more
