By April 9, I was already calling tech support because the home Internet was so slow, and I was not receiving the speeds promised. When verifying my address, T-Mobile informed me that the address given by the store at the time of my signing up with Jose, was completely different from my actual home address! (the address used wasn't shared with me when I asked, probably to protect their employee) I tried to give the benefit of the doubt here that it was a mistake, but there is literally no other address associated with me, I bought my house in 2001 and he had my ID to verify and even printed out a Spectrum bill (my same address!) so I could receive a gift card for the balance due on my son's phone, which was a separate very long, complicated transaction...long story short, Jose used a false address to sell me home internet in my neighborhood, which is completely overcrowded and oversold! I have spent 2.5 months back-and-forth to try to get it improved, and T-Mobile would not even provide me with a free Wi-Fi extender when troubleshooting, so I spent $100 buying my own. T mobile customer service even lowered my Wi-Fi bill to $10 a month because they admitted fault and let me out of any contract to leave... Sadly, this last week while I waited and shopped for new service... It's become so poor that we've had to literally resort to hotspots on our phone to work, do school work during my son's finals week, and even to watch TV. Today I was able to get Frontier fiber internet installed and returned all my equipment to the LB store. Thankful the nightmare is over. VERY DECEPTIVE business practices from Jose at this location. T-Mobile should not be paying commission to their salespeople, it's obviously caused some to be pretty dishonest to make the extra money.

The person attending to us, Danny, troubleshooted the issue and provided a resolution of provided a used, dirty cable for the Home Internet box. Appalled, I asked about his authority to provide us a new cable at least. He then asked his coworker, who just received a used and returned box set, if he can provide a new cable which she replied yes as she had to do so as well. Next, instead of providing us a new cable, he took the cable that another customer just returned and tested it with our box, which did not work. Finally, he went into the Inventory Room to provide us a new cable. Tldr; Highly recommend the T-Mobile location on Carson and Cherry instead. Diana even helped us save money by finding out that we were overcharged in our Home Internet Plan.

On top of it all Apple claims my apple ID password was incorrect when trying to sign into another device in order to access my $$$ which I foolishly had stored all on my apple wallet/cash while waiting for new bank debit card to arrive due to some fraudulent charges I experienced and thought I was doing the smart thing by keeping my money out of those 2 compromised accounts not thinking nor realizing how I was screwing myself over. So I went to Cricket to see if possibly signing up with new plan and getting new iphone w them would be a way for me to regain fast access to my money/apple account without having to wait possibly days for Apple Account verification. I share all that to explain my frustration clearly when arriving at the Cricket Store on 1327 Long Beach Blvd. and not expecting much in the way of any help let alone miracles (particularly after calling ahead and speaking to the female employee whom clearly had more experience with working on achieving bad attitudes more so than with any sort of customer service excellence or skills. But to top it all off the end of my visit there really "took the cake." After helping a couple customers that were there before my arrival, the associate of the year went on to "assist" a homeless man who was covered in so much urine it stank up the entire store. No offense to this homeless man as a human being but he clearly was not there to "purchase anew business line and phone" as he grumbly stated. 15 minutes later, still entertaining what was CLEARLY NOT a matter of discrimination but a matter of discernment when a urine soaked homeless and impaired individual with no intention of patronizing the store as customer is allowed to cut me in line for nearly 15 minutes while the Cricket "employee of the year" attempts to run the continuously declining debit cards that the homeless man had in his possession (ownership...probably not so much.) Now I was quickly "getting over it" and the entire ordeal thus far. Once it finally was "my turn" I explained my situation to the Cricket associate and expressed my interest in opening new account with new phone via joining Cricket. Luckily I use ESIM so it would be easy to port my existing number from old phone & carrier to new phone w Cricket...One would think... To obtain my porting pin/info I need in order to become a new Cricket customer & user I need to access my online account from current carrier in which iPhone that had taken a plunge failed to even power on so I needed wifi-connection in order to access that info via current providers website and my account profile that way. To my bewilderment I was told "Oh sorry we're unable and not allowed to give out or wifi password." REALLY CRICKET??!!!! THEN WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE CRICKET_guest AS ONE OF YOUR NETWORKS?? More like "Cricket guess" if "you don't give out the password to potential new customers." WHAT A TRULY ASININE POLICY PARTICULARLY FROM A NETWORK CARRIER SERVICE!!!! You're telling me freakin Starbucks sees the value in allowing wifi access because i purchased a danish there and you Cricket as a business get's in your own way of gaining a new customer because I what...Couldn't guess the top secured password for your CRICKET GUEST named network? LOL it would be hilarious if not so freaking stupid. Anyways, short story long I have my new iphone and stayed with same carrier which Im happy for especially after experiencing the ghetto-trash joke better known as Cricket. Go take a long walk off a short pier Cricket and do us all a favor. :x

The second worker made me uneasy, and I overheard them doubting me in the back. Even with my new bank and a credit card, they refused again.
