Shady business practices…read more Took my laptop for a water spill repair, they told me the motherboard was not repairable, and the drive was toast without a chance to get back my old data. While i do believe them about the motherboard, i put the drive on my desktop computer and its working completely fine. I'm even writing this review on the drive they told me didn't work anymore and needed a replacement. The quote they gave me for a drive replacement was $200 FOR A DRIVE THAT COST ME $70 ON AMAZON... WITHOUT SAVING MY OLD DATA!!! all for a drive that is still working perfectly fine with all my data intact. Avoid this place. UPDATE: Turns out while my main usb-c charging port was not working, the secondary one still works, AND ITS ABLE TO CHARGE MY LAPTOP! I'm currently writing this review on the very same laptop they told me the motherboard was fried. So the only issue was literally 1 (one) usb-c port. If I could leave 0 starts I would. For years, WFIT hosted our website and our business emails. We didn't have that many problems, but when we did, they were right on it. We shut down our office and are mostly retired now, although we still maintain the company. Since moving everything to our home, we seem to have at least one technical glitch a month, if not more, that requires me to contact "the guys". They provide help immediately and always seem to fix whatever issue we reported to them. They access our devices remotely and that has never been an issue. The prices they charge us are by far the most reasonable we have ever paid to an IT firm in the 30+ years we have been in business. Long story very short. I picked it up, many days after it was promised.... No software had been installed, no needed files. Every file was left, uninstalled as an icon on the desk top. Nothing worked... Nothing. It was surreal.... Like a bad dream. After spending 150.00, and reading the glowing Yelp reviews, I really expected more.
