He informed me that there would be a $30 restocking fee (it's actually a $55 restocking fee). I went back today and the same worker was there with a female "manager" who had the personality of a rock. Our presence made it seem as if we were infringing on her social media time, and even though our transaction was easy, she offered no apology for the miscommunication from the male worker. When the male worker heard that I wanted to exchange the phone, his response was, "I told you that you should've gotten the Max." Um what? Luckily we were able to complete the transaction without further issue, but definitely will be avoiding this location in the future. To tape your package, it's an extra $2 per box. Every other UPS in town has no such rule. Scam after scam. If you pay cash, you must have exact total. If their register doesn't have your total change to give back to you, they get to keep the extra money. Cashier couldn't undo the transaction to let me pay with card. Scam after scam. It's unfortunate they're the only ones open in town on a Sunday until 4 pm or I'd avoid at all cost. Tried to get it reinstated, but it looks like this business listing was created instead...so...putting another review out there. As usual, the interaction and purchase experience was good. GameStop is on a tough business model: even with video gaming becoming bigger than film, tv, and music combined, the move to digital from physical discs has greatly reduced the opportunity to buy and sell used games, which has historically been its bread-and-butter. Plus with Amazon.com also being in this space on-line, it really squeezes competitors and suppliers alike. It's been a while since I last visited, with my annual membership expiring earlier this year. It no longer makes sense for me to have it, with the infrequent purchases (mainly because it takes me a really long time to finish a game), and the discounts being minimal. The store is still arranged similarly to what I remember: sections for Playstation, XBox, and Nintendo. The new and used games were kinda mixed together, but ordered alphabetically. And pricing was definitely based to match Amazon...any sale items were the same price on Amazon. I appreciated saving a little money on the one used game that I found that I was interested in (AC-Shadows set in feudal Japan).
