Worst Verizon ever, I always had help at other stores to transfer numbers this store had 2 workers that just sat there when asked for help they refused and said they could not help and said call a number that ended up being a dead line. I learned the hard way that there's a VERY BIG difference between a Verizon authorized store and a Verizon corporate store. THIS IS a Verizon authorized store which means it DOES NOT accept returns after 14 days compared to the 30 days Verizon gives you when ordering directly online and at corporate stores. Try returning past 14 days and you'll get mixed messages from everyone including different information from customer service phone number. Authorized stores also charge for SIM cards whereas they're free at corporate stores. I paid $20 at this store for one. Customer service is poor too, to top it all off. No follow up. No suggestions for assistance. No offering solutions. read more

I rarely review but I'm also rarely this disrespected from time I call until time I leave the store. I'll preface by saying I'm aware being the last customer is a crap. I've worked plenty of retail to know this but also worked plenty of retail to stop working retail and just not deal with customers. So I broke my phone in the morning and needed a phone, as I use it for work, by beginning of day following morning. I went to corporate location, as I've already been deterred by this store before, but they were closed. I went home to call around to other locations and this location was open. I told the person on the line I know I'm going to be cutting it close but I desperately need a phone tonight. This person let's call him, Christopher W. since that's all the info on my receipt, was initially informative telling me they close at 6pm ( this is approx 5:35pm and I live @ Damien and Gladstone so under 5 minute drive) then after I tell him I just need a new phone he's all ya but we close in like 20 minutes. ( with a sigh and attitude of a bratty teenager) Upon entering neither employee has a mask on, ( I don't care but they mentioned their boss did ) and Christopher has his till already out as if to close his register before they're actually closed. He's eventually figures out how to put his mask on and grumbles under his breath to put his till back in the register. I explain my situation and we need to call my wife to verify account via a text code since mine is very dead and broken at this point. This seems a chore for him. Then I ask about my payment options trying to be swift and vocalizing that I'm sorry to be the last customer right before close but this is important. He verbally is complaining to me about wasting time and isn't fast or efficient at his job to tell me 3 different things. 1. Price of phone out the door with tax 2. Monthly payment if half of the total paid 3. Monthly payment only paying the tax He was so unmotivated to attempt to figure this out that his partner had to step in and do this elementary arithmetic for him. I explain I need to quickly call my wife then with these 3 options in mind so we can 1 make a decision on method of paying for this phone and 2 transfer money from savings to my checking as I can't do the mobile banking from my broken phone. Christopher again complains, out loud, about how this is now taking more time and mutters to himself aloud. I initially wanted a case and his partner was quick to assist with that but I chose not to purchase as I don't feel this customer service representative deserves any commissions from my horrible inconvenience to his life. He gets the transaction to an end but is rushing me through trying to hurry me vocally and not allow me the opportunity to read what I'm signing and agreeing to. Doesn't even want to give me the chance to turn my phone on and verify it's able to activate or that my number has been transferred. When I say thank you and leave he's just mutters something non professional and rushes to close out. ( granted this is now 2 minutes before store is closing so he's fine. His job is done no extra time for him ) I've worked plenty of retail as a youth and even at a phone store for another provider and we were always taught to gladly greet anyone that comes in before closing lock the doors if store closes during the engagement with customer and treat them as if there's no rush. Finish every part of transaction regularly and upsell where seems fit for this particular customer. None of this happened and I really had to bite my tongue to stay polite and not let my temper get the best of me. Naturally this would do nothing positive and I'm honestly afraid of how much information they have access to so I would rather go about this through these channels. I'll also be writing Verizon's corporate customer service to let them know that employees like this even for a 3rd party authorized retailer are a major stain on their reputation and have lasting impacts that make the decision to jump over to another provide more enticing than just promotional offers. read more

2-18-2020 I have been doing business with the Go Wireless store in La Verne CA store for over two years. Until my experience today, the people who work there have been awesome at answering questions about phones and service leading me to buy my phone and accessories from them. Because of these very positive experiences, many times I have recommended friends and family to go there to buy, or upgrade their phones, tablets, chargers and cables. At the time I bought my Samsung Note 8, I also purchased the replaceable glass program for $60. I was told this was available for the life of my phone. I have used it two times since purchasing my phone. When I went in yesterday with the broken glass and asked for the replacement, I was told that my phone was too old and they no longer carried glass for that model. I then asked if they could order it from somewhere within their network. They went to their computer terminal, and then I was told I could drive to Huntington Beach to get one they still had in stock. I asked if they could interoffice mail it to their store and I would pick it up. I was told they don't do business that way. I explained that I didn't agree my Note 8 was too old, nor did I want to drive to Huntington Beach to get the glass. I asked for the manager and was told he was home sick. I called again today to speak with the manager and was never transferred to him. I was informed by the same young man as yesterday that they could do nothing for me. I asked for a refund and was told "No". I would have been satisfied with a partial refund but that was not even considered. I was then told the previous employees misspoke when they sold me the $60 glass replacement program. It was not for the life of the phone as I was told then, but rather a two year program. They suggested I buy a glass cover for my phone on the internet and they would be happy to put it on. I said "No, Thank You I didn't want to pay for the glass twice and would be happy to share my experience on Yelp". read more

Spoke a guy named Lance, I couldn't hear him clearly and when I asked for his name at first I had to ask multiple times, I felt when I did that he got bothered and kept saying "how can I help you" in the same tone and seemed he was getting really bothered. When I had asked if they had a certain phone in stock he told me with the shortest reply "no we don't have any" instead of saying "oh we don't have any but we'll make sure to reserve one for you if we get any." To top it off, when I got off the phone with him I said "ok thank you" and he responded back with "ok, bye" wow such great customer service at this location, very rude and unprofessional! read more

I have been going there for years,It was time for an upgrade and Mike told me I could get the buy one get one,they make it so confusing on the bill....I told him I didn't want to spend more per month,he said it would be close to the same....it was not....after talking to verizon on the phone Verizon told me I was not eligible for the bogo.Went back to the store and talked to Mike and he told me he did not say it was a bogo....he lied,luckily I have him in a text telling me it would take two billing cycles for the bogo to go thru..I am now dealing with the manager to get it resolved.Corporate office was zero help...Doyourself a favor and don't go here. read more

Stay away from this location and these non-corporate Go Verizon Wireless locations. Go to the Lone Hill corporate location in Glendora. This Foothill/La Verne location due to the customer service is terrible. I have a new iPhone 6 with a screen failure within a week of purchase. The screen problem is all over the Internet. They acted like this is news to them. They absolutely would not replace my phone with a new phone. My only option was a refurbished phone they would send me and I was holding a week new defective phone. The following was their excuse... When they asked for my box they wouldn't take the phone back without the box. No where on 6 pages of their paperwork when I bought the phone was I warned to save the box or I will only get a replacement phone. They essentially dumped me and sent me to a Corporate Store. I went over to the Lone Hill/Glendora store and what a difference. Asked for the manager and he went into a total customer service mode and replaced the phone with an overnight shipping of a new phone, He is shipping a new phone to the store because I wouldn't be home to sign for it, Use the new phone box to return the old phone. Assigned me to Kyle to follow up and he will take care of the transferring and set up of the new phone. Only deal with the Glendora/Lone Hill store. It's no wonder why the La Verne store was dead and the Lone Hill store was very busy with well trained professionals all customer service oriented. Although we live in West Covina, we chose to come to this location because of their customer service, and especially, their manager, Christopher. My boys were going to go inside of the moll Verizon store, and I convinced them to pick this location. Christopher was very informative, helpful, patient. OMG, how patient! We asked dozen questions, over and over. It was a family of four, torturing these guys by bombarding them with our questions. Besides his patience, Christopher was super friendly and very professional. In the end, we did end up getting 2 iphone 6+. Both boys were happy, I was happy, and I'm assuming Verizon was happy, too. :) lol Thank you Christopher for all your help. You are amazing and a great asset to Verizon! read more

Buyers beware of the management at this location. Michael D is a liar and a cheat. They tell you that you are getting FREE things and then charge you for them. They refuse to refund your money with the excuse that the COMPUTER will not allow it. If you have Verizon go to one of THE Verizon stores where you will be treated fairly and with respect. Mike's knowledge about the differences in his products helped me make a phone pick that suited m needs for personal and business a while ago. His tech knowledge about the products is super AND he takes the time to patiently explain how to set them up to meet my business needs. Went into the store to exchange out a Samsung for an iPhone for my 85 year old Grandpa. The Assistant Manager wasn't helpful at all, suggested that I had to go to the original store of purchase. Once I returned to the original store, the staff working stated that wasn't true. Unfortunately, I do feel that she wasn't helpful due to his age, very poor customer service for our senior citizens that truly need help. I went into the GoWireless Verizon Authorized Retailer February 24 to Pre-Order the Samsung Galaxy S7 after owning various iPhone's for the past 6 years. Natalie was very helpful in helping me decide between the S7 and S7 Edge. I decided to order the S7 and she helped me pre order it. They Sent me the tracking information when the Device shipped and the very same day the phone launched i was able to pick it up from the same GoWireless Verizon location and get it all set up and activated. Natalie was very helpful in helping me transfer my contacts from my old phone to my new phone. I also asked probably about 200 questions about Samsung phones and the differences between their functionality and that of an iPhone and she was very patient and answered all my questions. And I hate the fact they swindled me into buying a phone to all who care. note this business is not a corporate location. it is an Indirect Store. and I have had nothing but LIES and Problems with them ( they offered me a promotion that had expired a week before, and obviously i did not know this and still purchased my phone). i bought my phone in August/2016 from the go wireless store and it is now five moth later and GoWireless la Verne still has not come through on the the promotion they offered me in the store when I bought my phone. This store is hands down my new favorite Verizon spot. I went in simply to ask a question. Had no intention to buy a new phone nor did I need a new phone. My phone was simply acting up and I decided I'd let the experts take a look at it. Like at every other Verizon store, I expected the rep to push me and try to force me into buying a new phone. I went in being upfront about my intentions and told the rep that I had no need nor would I buy a new phone what so ever. I explained I simply needed help. Nataly was the rep who helped me out when I visited. She was extremely helpful!!! I never imagined receiving such good attention and care after I made it clear I wasn't gonna be a sale. She was extremely patient with me and helped me solve my phone problems. After finding the problem, she offered a free account analysis to make sure I was placed on the plan best suited for me. She informed me I was overpaying for my service. I had not upgraded my phone because I thought I was gonna have to pay an arm and a leg plus increase my bill that was already high enough! Nataly managed to get me a brand new S6 at a very low cost plus saved me $20 a month on my bill!!! I definitely recommend going to her for all your wireless needs. Thank you Nataly!
