When it comes to my cell phone. I've managed to hold off my upgrade for years & of course I was well overdue. As your typical cell phone photographer I tend to take pictures of anything & everything. Except I'll usually forget to delete those random photos & about twelve thousand pictures later I've officially ran out of storage. So not being able to use apps when I want to or take even more pictures. This was officially my breaking point & has been well, quite irritating. So here I am at the mall looking for a solution to my problems. Visit number one was on my birthday. I finally made that executive decision to upgrade my phone plus my watch. Cause why not. They had a watch I liked in stock so I got to take that home on my very first visit. Except I already knew I'd need extra storage for my little iPhone photography hobby. So that needed to be special ordered. The following week my phone arrived so I'm back at the store working on my transfer. Except it started at fifteen minutes & worked itself all the way up to nine hours. Figured I should just go home & come back the next day to finish my trade in. Luckily on all three visits I had the opportunity to work with Bronson. His customer service was pleasantly refreshing. He would greet customers, find out what they were in for, either help them on the spot, inform them of a small wait time or get someone to help them out. When you're working solo or with a team time management skills are very valuable to any business. Bronson definitely knew how to problem solve to effectively get their customers in & out in a timely manner. Even the small talk like in my case happy birthday or welcome back. Can really leave a positive impression by making a customer feel valued or remembered from the last visit. Plus before I left today he helped me with some other questions I had with my account. The most valuable and personable employee working alone at 8:50 pm was Aukai:) He was a lifesaver tonight with solving the problem regarding my son's phone which was in Honolulu. We were on a trip from Honolulu to Maui and came straight from the airport to the Verizon in the mall. It's sad our Verizon in Kalihi doesn't have employees like Aukai. Buyer BEWARE. This shop is the ultimate scam factory. Victra is an authorized Verizon retailer and not a Verizon store, despite ample signage that would lead you to assume otherwise. My husband and I went in to upgrade our phones upon learning of a deal Verizon was offering for switching service providers. We traded in our old iPhones for the iPhone 13 pro. Samantha was our sales rep and assured us that we would receive an $800 rebate per phone for the purchase of the phones themselves (to be paid in our monthly statement), and a $500 rebate for switching from AT&T to Verizon. We should have taken the time to research this offer ourselves, but we believed that Samantha would deliver the offer she presented. We were told that in order to receive this deal we would be required to purchase the accessory package (totaling approximately $500) but we were okay with this since we were to receive a $500 rebate for changing service providers. We even told Samantha that if this deal were to change in any way, we would walk. We received an invoice highlighting each of these promises. AFTER our phones had already been switched over, screen protectors applied as well as phone cases, we received our final bill. Luckily my husband noticed that they were attempting to discount $400 per phone as opposed to $800 per phone as initially promised. He brought this to the manager's attention and she said that she would "fix it on her end" and that it would take two billing cycles to take effect. Two billing cycles later we are paying double the amount monthly for our phones, and we were denied the $500 rebate from Verizon because we had already paid off our old phones, rendering the rebate invalid. So after $500 worth of accessories that we didn't need, and monthly payments on phones that we didn't agree to, I am posting this long winded review in the hopes that someone looking to switch to Verizon will deal with Verizon directly and avoid this SCAM of a store. How these people sleep at night is beyond me. It's worth noting that Verizon customer service has been working with us on this issue and we hopefully will receive some compensation, but the time spent trying to achieve this is dizzying. read more

We spent over 4.5 hours at this store trying to buy a new phone and upgrade another one. They totally bait and switched us. We thought we were buying one thing and ended up another. Started at one price and ended up paying hundreds more. To top it off, they disconnected my watch and can't reconnect it. We have to go spend more time tomorrow at the actual Verizon corporate store instead of the Go Wireless stores. Buyers beware! Corporate responded below. We called the corporate office and they didn't help and referred us back to the store. While my husband was talking trying to get things worked out, the representative hung up on him. On Cyber Monday my husband and I walked into Verizon and were lucky enough to get Desiree to help us. We switched to Verizon from ATT and walked out with 2 new iPhone 11's, 600.00 credit for our old phones (mine was a SE and his was a 6s with a cracked screen) and $200.00 VISA gift cards, each! Desiree took care of transferring all our information from old to new, cleared our old phones and packaged and sent them off to where ever old phones go to die. We got a great deal and received excellent customer service from Desiree. read more

I try to help independent stores especially during Covid hard times, but this satellite store, Victra, of Verizon (it's not the corporate store) targets you like a stooge to be taken totally advantage of in terms of being conned, lied to, scammed and ripped off big time. Whatever you do: DO NOT buy their store items. They intentionally do not put prices on the items so that the reps can charge any price they want. They sell Pure Gear phone chargers for 35.00. Same exact charger for 4.99 at Amazon. Bought an upgrade to Samsung A10E and hated it. Called Verizon National service over phone and they switched me back to my original phone for service no problem. When I went to return the new phone at Victra, which I didn't even use, 2 days later after purchasing it, the rep J. told me I couldn't receive service back to my other phone after upgrading and I'd have to choose another phone. It was a straight out LIE. I looked at him and said, What!? I already did it over the phone. He had this shocked look on his eyes like, Oh gee, my scam didn't work. I was scared he was going to screw it up and I said, Don't do anything to screw that up, leave it alone, my old phone is back in service works fine. Then he refused to give me a refund receipt, kept coming up with excuses, computer down, couldn't email it, I said, Just print it out because I'm not leaving until I get my refund receipt. He sold me this liquid glass cover that I didn't want, I asked for a plastic sheet instead he charged me nearly 60.00 for something I didn't originally want nor did he tell me the price. After spending 180.00 the refund was 60.00 back. It is currently in dispute and I will win even if I have to get my husband-lawyer, on it. I heard other agents saying things to customers that were lies just so they couldn't get their money back. BEWARE OF THIS STORE. CON MEN, SCAMMERS, RIP OFF LIARS. They are going to get caught pulling off these illegal scams and I intend to report this store to the main Verizon Headquarters. This is one stooge that they shouldn't have f...ed with! I'm very friendly and nice when people are fair and honest, but if they rip me off and scam me...watch out! And lastly, they charge a phony 35.00 restock fee. The worst experience ever!!! The kiosk in the mall is the worst and most unprofessional place!!! We agreed on the cost of the phones and plans but every 45 minutes something new comes up. This store is a rip off. They do not tell you that they dont have the specific item in stock when you purchase it, instead they will give you a more expensive one instead without telling you. They give you misinformation on how much things cost. This is NOT a verizon store it is just an authorized dealer. I sugguest you go to verizon near target. It seems that they are only there for commission and not really customer service. The staff is not really helpful. They often have to ask other employees on what to do. Just switched from AT&T after being with them for 15+ years. If you are thinking of switching- just do it! Our sales associate Greg was wonderful. Very friendly, sincere, knowledgeable and patient. Poor guy had a problem with the POS/enrollment system. You could tell he felt really bad that it was taking longer than normal and was getting frustrated. We bombarded him with questions while he was trying to get us signed up and he never was anything but cordial. See Greg when you go in; he works weekday nights. (Side note- I overheard that they do updates to their systems on Mondays which may have caused the extreme slow down.) I finally have cellphone reception in my house in Wailuku!! Plus, I was easily able to sign my Apple watch up in the watch app- instead of having to go into ATT and unknowingly having 2 types of insurance totaling $35 charged to our account for 2 years (business account- unfortunately accountant just sent the checks out). I digress, but I just wanted to warn that twice I've had insurance added on which I didn't ask for. I'm pretty sure it's bc store staff gets the most spifs on insurance. Then when we tried to get it refunded and potentially cancel our plan we got passed around- I believe it's bc staff gets dinged for anything that loses money so they play hot potato with your call. Horrible- and I was such an advocate for them for so long. I love that Greg heard my concerns and made paperwork for us to leave with that clearly states what we signed up for and what we can expect to be charged (no insurance added. Lol). That night I also used FB Messenger to ask a bunch of questions I thought of after the fact. My chat was picked up quickly, they were super nice, they answered all my queries concisely and clearly. So much better than the rude 45-60min phone calls with ATT that I've had lately! Tl;dr --- What I'm trying to say is that if you've thought about switching to Verizon do it. (ATT seems to have set up their employees' pay on a rewards and demerits system which is in direct conflict to good customer service.) When switching look for specials like $200 for each line switched plus ask about getting extra money for your trade-in. I am so happy I finally made the jump and I think you will be, too! read more

I rarely leave reviews but after my experience today I felt the need to thank the young gentlemen for helping me out, I definitely left totally satisfied and stoked that he was able to help me out and even got me more accessories than I was planing on getting. If I'm being honest, Im not the easiest customer to help lol! I ask a million questions and tend to be pretty indecisive, but Cameron was extremely sweet and answered all of my annoying questions and didn't make me feel dumb. He seemed genuinely interested in bettering my customer experience and to be totally frank, it was because of his attitude that I bought waaay more than I was planning to, but I don't regret any of it! He's a great salesmen but not in a pushy way. I have been a Verizon customer for over 10 years and have been to many different locations but my experience today was one worth leaving a review about. It is almost impossible to tell that this is NOT a Verizon store. The sign says Verizon but this a reseller. Go to the actual Verizon star near Target to deal directly and avoid shady and misleading business practices. My elderly partner who does not speak English well was completely taken advantage of and sold hundreds of dollars of accessories that he did not want or need. The $65! screen protector was put on by the associate in the store so it could not be returned. It was then bundled for a discount with other accessories that were also not needed. When we went to return we could not get back the full price of the items due to the bundle attached to the non-refundable screen protector. We were then told that we would get credit for the difference and have not received credit. The account was set up incorrectly so we ended up at the actual Verizon store anyway to correct the issues, some of which cannot be reversed. This deceiving marketing and aggressive/dishonest sales practices led to hundreds of dollars and hours spent trying to correct. We still do not have what we wanted or needed. read more

I've been contacting you guys 3 weeks straight about my bill and nothing has been fixed after many conversations with call center and corporate. Everything has not been pleasant the workers in the store was delightful but the call center was not helpful at all. Many times call center promised a fix bill bit it took almost a month for it to be fixed. So all in all, if you promise a fixed bill make sure that promise goes through otherwise you will lose customers no matter how well your cellphone service is all over the world. Today 2/23/2018 early afternoon, I walked into the store to get help with my S7 phone because I wasn't able to get my emails because of my memory data. I was convinced to upgrading for a S8, when I was told there was only the color gray, when I requested for black. I then changed my mind and said I'll wait and think about it. The guys told me if I wanted to get the gray since I'll be getting a case. I told them no I don't want to. So, I left and ended up at Costco, where they had a black phone. I went and upgraded to find out that my acct was frozen because some guy at the mall (African American), the one that helped me earlier, placed an order WITHOUT my consent. I did NOT give him authority for that. In fact, I told him NO!! Alex was helpful and was here when this happened. It wasn't Alex who I was dealing with. It was the African American. This is not acceptable. I wasted over an hour at Costco. I had to go to the returns and return my bought phone that I couldn't even activate because of this. This is very upsetting. I hope this never happens to another customer. I hope this associate gets disciplined for his actions today!! read more
