However, Montez was super sympathetic and tried really hard to try to diagnose the issue. He seemed to think it was the battery but he did not have the Sumsung S7 battery in stock that day but he did tell me I might also have an issue with my port because there was some corrosion. I was leaving the next day and took it to a local repair back home who confirm everything Montez said and Montez did NOT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! Honest, ethical and super sweet vendor. Not willing to rip you off, he just felt bad he could not give me back a functional phone. Thank you having the skills and integrity to give me an honest answer even if you could not fix it. His shop is also full a super cool accessories and many other customer seemed happy with their screen repair (lots of lava rock injuries) and I would definately go back if I ever have a cracked screen. Lots of gift shopping while waiting for phone so a win win.

So I said screw it I can't go seven days without my phone as I do a lot of business on it. So I went to yelp and found this place! Maui cell repair doesn't charge you diagnostic fees like other places. I walked right in a guy named Yosef greeted me told him my problem. He diagnosed it really quick as the battery wasn't charging properly hooked it up to his diagnostic tool. Gave me a fair price told me he can get it fixed within the hour. Came back my phone like new and my normal daily life restored! Thank god for these guys life savers and they don't charge ridiculously prices to fix. Highly recommend these guys and will be coming back to fix other phones I have laying around for a back up! Mahalos Yosef!!!

My battery health was at 56% and my wife's battery health was at about 67%. My phone battery would be lucky to last about 2 hours or so if I streamed anything. Yosef helped us out and changed both our batteries in about 30 minutes. I also just came from the beach, so I was dressed down. He got it for me and I asked about the new iPhones. At the time, they weren't in store, but you could order them. He just told me they weren't in yet, not interested in selling I guess. Right after, I went to Costco to shop and saw that they now have a T-Mobile kiosk. I talked with the girl there and ended up ordering 2 iPhone 16 Pro Maxes. I don't know why you blew me off, but if you would have gotten a commission, you blew it. It worked out for me though, because I got a way better deal with Costco incentives.

When we got home the phone became glitchy and would shut off 2-3 times per day. About 2 weeks after we got home my daughter went to grab her phone and the screen fell off into her hand. When we took it to the Apple store they confirmed that not only was the screen replacement cheap, it was installed incorrectly. I have called 5 times (manager is always "away"), I have emailed twice, tried to contact them several times via their website, Instagram, and facebook. My camera was just about dust, the volume only worked on speaker phone, I could no longer update apps. It was time. It should be noted that I have actually gone in to get a new phone at different locations and walked out due to aggressive sales tactics and just not feeling heard. Maybe I'm stubborn, or old school but when it comes to phones, I just need it to work and take decent photos. Greg was calm, professional and understood what I wanted. He still went over all of my options and upgrade deals but did not push back when I didn't show interest in certain packages. I gave him my game plan and let him know I'm not interested in all the bells and whistles. He was very accommodating. From the moment we walked in, the employee who assisted us was rude and dismissive. It felt as though she was having a bad day and taking it out on her customers. Whenever we asked for clarification on things we didn't understand, her answers were vague and unhelpful. The interaction made the entire room feel tense. To top it off, she was extremely impatient; while I was trying to read the documents I was required to sign, she actually clicked away before I could finish. To make matters worse, we still haven't even received a receipt for the purchase. Buying a new phone is a big commitment, and I expected much more professional and transparent service.
