Shady business! They have a Verizon sign outside to make it look like a corporate location, but it's clearly a third party store. I went in and the worker was sitting there on her phone. I asked to see the iPhone 16. The demo didn't work (it did not turn on). I asked the worker if I could check one out and she said, "Just look at the iPhone 16 Pro. It's the same thing, just bigger screen". First of all, that's not true... second of all, it was the week the iPhone 16 came out so you'd think you'd have a working demo model! I asked about trade ins, and she said I could trade in my old phone but wouldn't get any money for it. No promos, no working demo model, and lazy worker. I have been in and out of many Verizon centers on Maui with no success. I went to Verizon in Kihei on Saturday and had a great experience. Avant greeting me and immediately introduced himself and shook my hand. He informed me that he was relatively new but assured me he or Kelly could solve my issue. They both worked together and helped me solve my problem with my bill and why my phone was not receiving calls or making calls and texts. Avant also showed me the newest iPhones and watches but I wasn't ready yet to purchase a new phone. Update: when I went into this store, Kihei Verizon Victra, the manager, Kelly, initially tried to help me with my request for a transfer pin. It didn't work. When I came in again, waited half an hour for service, I went to the front desk. He no longer wanted to help me and kept telling me to move to the table. When I refused, he said "shit!". Then I said "please don't swear at me." I did nothing except repeatedly ask for help and he is swearing at me? Shame on you Verizon. Shame. read more

DANGER ALERT! On 2/23/21, at 10:55 am I entered the Kihei Verizon store. There were 3 employees behind separate counters waiting on 4 customers. There were 5 more customers in the 20-45 minute wait line. I saw that the distance between the employees and the customer served was about 2-3 feet. I noted that there are NO plastic/glass barriers at the counters. The employees were wearing black masks. Then one customer asked about the Mask Requirement, at which time it became clear that another customer was not wearing a Mask, said he misplaced it. The Maskless customer had been within in 2feet, face to face with a employee for at least 10 minutes, with his back to all other customers. Today Maui announced that it had more COVID-19 cases yesterday than Ohau, a island with 8 times the population. Good Job VERIZON! read more

When leaving the store the person out front asked if the phone was working well and we replied "no it's not". He then said "oh well see you later". Pretty much the worst service ever. You'd be better off getting a meth head to help you out down at the beach. What store has TWO employees and only one is helping the +5 customers in the store?? DANGER. Came here to pick up a phone and Trent was super friendly and helpful even as there were some technical difficulties affecting the area. He was such a great guy and made the whole experience actually fun. Save yourself the time and headache and go to the corporate Verizon store in Queen K mall. Added a line to my fiancé's plan with the intention of moving my line from att. Didn't plan to upgrade phones but Kelly offered a "killer deal" on a 12 max pro since the 13 had recently come out and their was excess inventory. Was promised a $750 buy back on my iPhone 8+ and a $250 pre-paid visa for switching. Received a $200 credit to our bill with no sign of the missing $800 in promotions that dont actually seem to exist. Have spent 4+ hours of traveling to the store itself and another 4 hours on the phone with virtually no help from anyone locally. The store manager Kimberly washed her hands of the situation and passed it off to the assistant store manager who was never to be heard from. Now having to escalate the complaint every 48hrs with corporate to go up the chain to find someone to actually resolve the issue. When I contacted Kelly to check on the status of things after several weeks of not hearing from him (over 3 months after the initial purchase and a month and a half after I'd first contacted the local store about it) he sent me an angry message for "nothing him on his day off" despite the fact that he had previously contacted me from his personal number which I had no way of knowing was not a company line. I had a gut feeling that we were walking into a used car lot of phones sales and should have listened to that. Currently waiting for a call back from the regional president of the company since no one else can be bothered with following up. read more

Count your fingers after you shake hands with these people. They will sign you up for extra services you didn't ask for in order to get commissions for themselves. Avoid Justine and the manager at all costs. For me, they added $17/month insurance, $6 in "cloud services" and even though I prepaid the device, they put me on a 24 month plan. Apparently they make more money for doing that. I spent over an hour on the phone with Verizon removing all this crap. If you don't have that kind of time, go to one of the more legitimate Verizon dealers in Kahului. read more

We would like to comment in regards to Kailoni "Kai" who runs the Kihei Branch of Verizon. We had (3) visits at the Kihei Verizon the week of December 21st. The (3) times we went, we encountered the ONLY representative working there and his name was "Kai" (Kailoni). We are not tech saavy, however Kai was VERY patient and delivered EXCELLENT Customer Service. While watching him, even when the store got busy and with walk-ins interrupting him for questions while he assisted other customers, he ALWAYS maintained a very professional and PLEASANT attitude. No matter how busy it came, he never got flustered and EVERY customer, neutral or irate from the wait, he offered a very pleasant, and very knowledgeable attitude. He maintained the excellent Customer Service well past the 7pm closing, up until at least 830pm, to service all waiting customers. Without his excellent customer service, I can assure you that many customers would leave and be very irate due to the wait, as a result of only having (1) personnel to maintain the entire store. If it was not for his performance and knowledge, our review would definitely be a very lower rating due to wait as a result of only (1) person running the show. We stopped by (3) times at various times to make phone and other purchases. Kai's attitude was consistent, no matter who he assisted. VERY pleasant and knowledgeable employee. He is DEFINITELY an asset to Verizon It is suggested that he be compensated for running and maintaining the store and all the customers by himself and pleasantly to the very end. Awesome experience..Kai definitely deserves recognition in his dedicated and hard work with Verizon. Note: 5 stars would have been given if the wait time, due to only one person working, was not so long. each time was between 40min and 1 hour. Buyer beware. The staff was friendly but misinformed about the cost of plans. The quote I was given was wrong, by over $100/ month. My wife and I spent many wasted hours at this store in addition to driving to the actual Verizon store in Kahului to get some real answers and solutions. The ONLY reason we switched plans was because we were given a falsely low quote. In the end we lost our old grandfathered-in plan, wasted many hours and a lot of money due to false claims made by this store. They wouldn't even consider waiving the fees they charged us, despite it being due to their error. Its a month later and we are still having to spend time on the phone with Verizon to undo negative changes that were made to our account. Again, buyer beware. If anything goes wrong here, it's all on you. read more

Hooked me up with an LG G6 and was kind enough to waive my setup fees and he even discounted my case! Friendly service and knowledgable staff.
