Horrible experience. Had my daughter's screen replaced while on vacation in Maui (April 7, 2025). When we picked it up the screen sat higher than the original but she assured us that was normal. When we got home the phone became glitchy and would shut off 2-3 times per day. About 2 weeks after we got home my daughter went to grab her phone and the screen fell off into her hand. When we took it to the Apple store they confirmed that not only was the screen replacement cheap, it was installed incorrectly. I have called 5 times (manager is always "away"), I have emailed twice, tried to contact them several times via their website, Instagram, and facebook. I didn't want to have to write a bad review but it is clear they have no intention of contacting us and refunding our money ($197 down the drain). Horribe customer service. So far, not impressed. Need to get my phone repaired in Ka'anapali. Came earlier today around 12:30pm to get my phone repaired. They were closed even though it says that they are open on Mondays. It is now 3:50pm, I've called multiple times since going there earlier and I have yet to hear back from anyone. It's pretty frustrating because I'm a single mom on vacation and to carry my two children with me back and forth from our hotel to check and see if they're open is ridiculous. If you're not open on Mondays then please update your hours so you're not fooling people and if you are open then why isn't anyone there or answering the phone? read more

Walked in looking for my screen to be fixed walked out disappointed, the man there was cleaning and when I approached him he was rude. He did an ok job on my phone I experienced some glitches every now and again mostly when zooming in on something overall I would say to be weary when coming here because based on other reviews his mood towards you is based on a flip of a coin I did not ask the name of the worker because I did not want to spend any more time there than necessary it was at the whalers village stand in level 2 my father bought a charger and sd card that was overpriced and the man at the booth seemed apathetic and annoyed to a sense I don't now if it was a bad day or what but I came around 3pm. read more

My boyfriend shattered the back of his iphone the night before and when we woke up in the morning, we couldn't get it to charge and the battery was all swollen! We came over to tech armor as it was the day of the wedding that we were in and it was the closest to us so we needed a fix fast. We talked to the person thereand he told us there was generally no hope, my boyfriend insisted since we wouldn't be able to fly back with it and would lose everything including pictures from our 2 week trip here! So he opened it up and took the battery out even with the back of the housing completely shattered, popped a new one in and luckily got it all closed up in just around 20 mins! So I drop off drone to get repaired and paid $100 and they didn't fix. No refund and I went and fixed it myself. They said they called a few times but for what reason??? I bought the part on Amazon and watched a youtube video and fixed it. I had to go out and buy a small allen wrench to repair but what the hell. I'm not ever going to use them again. This is not a store but just a little kiosk in Whalers Village mall so be aware it isn't on the mall directory. My iPhone fell in saltwater and wasn't working. A very nice young man named Corinth opened up the phone and showed me where the saltwater damage was. He used some "magic phone juice" and brushed all the little parts clean. He was very thorough & transparent during the process. I really appreciated his kind and relaxed demeanor and his knowledge of phones. In 30 minutes (perfect time for getting Haagen Dazs) he replaced the screen and the phone was back working as normal again. He gave me some good advice and has excellent customer service skills. These. Guys. Rock! The morning of my trip to Maui my 6 month old Apple Iphone was completely shut down. Couldn't find info on the net to fix it. Landed in Maui and found Tech Armor. I called (using a friend's phone) to ask their hours. Spoke with Josue who said he could probably save me a trip. I told him what it WASN'T doing. He told me the steps and 1, 2, 3... my phone was back on. I was ready to adopt him. I went by the Kiosk the next day to say thanks and offer to pay him. He declined. Clearly he could not have been more helpful. Also very friendly and polite. I observed one of his colleagues assisting another customer. He, too, was helpful, friendly and polite. To include, when he was finished with the customer, helping my elderly mother across stepping stones as she was on a cane. I was reluctant to turn my phone over to a kiosk in a resort shopping center. I didn't have to do that in this case but I wouldn't not hesitate with this business. read more

Managed to get my iPhone run over. Corinth was there and took care of me right away. I'm glad I came early, as 2 others had shown up with the same issue. The good: replaced my cracked iphone screen in ~15 minutes, super quick and painless. The bad: replacing the screen broke the water resistance on my phone (iphone XS). for 2 years i'd regularly gotten it slightly wet with no issues at all. the day after getting the screen replaced, a few seconds in the pool ruined the screen, faceID equipment and front-facing camera. the ugly: i went back the the kiosk to share what happened. Josue immediately became defensive and deflective, trying to gas-light me into thinking that my phone was never water resistant in the first place. he literally turned to face away from me at once point. a new screen replacement or at least a refund would have been the right thing the to do. honestly, all i wanted was for him to apologize and acknowledge that they should warn customers that replacing the screen will remove water resistance so nobody else runs into the same issue i did. read more

He did not have in stock what we needed that day (was on order). However, he educated us exactly which size we needed and directed us to where we could find it which we did. Yup nobody wants to spend time on the island dealing with the a broken screen and iPhone but if you must this is the place to take it. There is no Apple store on the island so I found this place and the girl who took care of my phone was fabulous. And although she couldn't fix the water damage or reboot the phone she did do multiple test and did her best to fix it. The best part of it was her honesty and was not charged for all the work she put into it, wow better than the apple store. She had many people whose device she was able to fix. There are also cases and waterproof cases so you dont have this problem. The ABC store is nearby so you can have some poke whilst you wait for the tech to fix it. I highly recommend this location, it is a little kiosk so don't fret, they are super professional, friendly and fair. Absolutely FANTASTIC customer service!!! The night before we were to leave for Hawaii, my iPhone speaker stopped working (boo!!!), and I didn't have time to take in to get it fixed before leaving. The good news is when my husband and I arrived, we took our standard morning walk down to Whaler's Village and we came across the Tech Armor kiosk. It was still early and wasn't open yet, so I decided to call them later. When I did, I talked to a guy named Justin who was absolutely great. He told me to bring it in and if he couldn't figure it out, he wouldn't charge me. We took it down there, and within 10 minutes, he was already calling us back telling us he found the problem and it would be fixed in 10 minutes. He called right back and said it was done! I dropped my phone in the ocean water and they literally saved my phone from the brink of death. The woman at the kiosk talked me through every step of the repair process as she could see that I was extremely stressed out. They had to disconnect the battery to ensure that the phone wouldn't short before it dried. My wife and I were looking at cellphone cases at the kiosk which were reasonably all locked up. I asked the employee who was sitting at the adjacent kiosk if he worked there. He said yes and slowly/unenthusiastically began to "help" us. He pulled a bunch of cases which were the wrong ones despite my wife clarifying which model iPhone. I asked about cases for my phone and he said "they are on the other side". He did not offer any assistance or come over so I was just looking through the cases when he stated "you break it you buy it". By then I had enough of this disrespectful employee and said "let's go" to my wife who completely agreed. The employee began taunting us by saying "yah- go then, keep walking". I came back pissed and asked for his name/manager and he said he was the owner/manager. Then it started to turn ugly. Basically an escalation that could have been avoided with good customer service. This review is almost 3 months late...but better late than never. While we were in Maui, my husband went swimming for at least 40 minutes with his iPhone X thinking that it was waterproof. Well, when he got out the screen was glowing green and on the fritz so apparently he surpassed the water resistant threshold.
