So I said screw it I can't go seven days without my phone as I do a lot of business on it. So I went to yelp and found this place! Maui cell repair doesn't charge you diagnostic fees like other places. I walked right in a guy named Yosef greeted me told him my problem. He diagnosed it really quick as the battery wasn't charging properly hooked it up to his diagnostic tool. Gave me a fair price told me he can get it fixed within the hour. Came back my phone like new and my normal daily life restored! Thank god for these guys life savers and they don't charge ridiculously prices to fix. Highly recommend these guys and will be coming back to fix other phones I have laying around for a back up! Mahalos Yosef!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with this store, especially given the urgency of the…read moresituation. I started calling before the store even opened and left multiple messages once they opened. Yosef eventually called me back about two hours later and said his phone had been on silent. I explained that my husband had accidentally dropped his phone in fresh water while we were on vacation. The phone would turn on briefly and then shut off, and we were trying to get it looked at as quickly as possible because we were traveling. From the beginning, the interaction felt rushed and disinterested. Yosef seemed annoyed when I explained the situation, but he also spoke very confidently and told me that he had resolved this type of issue "hundreds of times." He then told me he was closing early at 2 PM, even though it was only around noon, and said that if we were going to come in, we needed to come immediately. I had my husband take an Uber to the store, and after several calls I also explained that he was traveling and did not currently have a working cell phone. Based on how confidently Yosef described his experience, I felt reassured that he would at least be able to diagnose the problem and potentially repair it. Instead, when my husband arrived, the conversation apparently changed to him saying he could only "try." My husband was ultimately charged $60, only to be told that the motherboard was damaged and that he couldn't repair it. What bothered me most was the entire experience leading up to the charge. I was repeatedly given the impression that this was an issue they had extensive experience handling, yet once my husband arrived, there was no clear expectation that the phone could actually be repaired. Given the urgency of our situation and the fact that we were traveling, I felt pressured to bring the phone in immediately and then left feeling like I had paid $60 for a diagnosis I could have been given without all the initial confidence that they could resolve the issue. I understand that water damage can make electronics difficult or impossible to repair, and I don't expect a business to perform a repair that isn't possible. However, I do expect clear communication about what can realistically be done and what I'm being charged for before proceeding. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this store.

I've updated this review and I've reduce the rating after getting some outside consultation about…read moremy experience I still would use this business but I highly recommend you test the product you give the proprietor before you turn it over and after you pick it up to see that the repair and phone is still functioning fully My iPhone X needed a battery replacement I used yelp to give me a quotes. iPhone Maui repair was the first to respond and was open to providing same-day service. I went to The Center dropped the phone off with Ocean The proprietor he sanitized it and told me it would take about 30 minutes to repair. I highly recommend that you test the phone in front of the proprietor before you give it to him that includes making a phone call opening the phone and showing him that the Internet is working. I would do this with anyone that I gave my phone to work on in the After having some lunch I came back the phone was repaired. Unfortunately the battery he put into the phone was defective he was able to swap the bad battery out a second time in about 10 minutes this battery worked correctly. At that point I had to go back to work. After about two hours of charging my phone reached the 80% optimum level and the software said the battery was working correctly. I put my Sim back in the phone and unfortunately after using the phone for about 30 minutes I realized that my earpiece was no longer functioning. I could use my speaker phone but not the earpiece. I would have no choice but to bring the phone back. He took the phone back and within a hour he was able to replace the earpiece at no charge and return the phone to me. Now my face ID no longer works on the phone which is a key feature. Hopefully this repair will hold and hopefully it's the last repair. I would recommend this business but I'd also recommend to fully test before you drop it off And on the completion of the repair

After patiently listening to her situation, he graciously steered her away from spending her money and gently implied that the computer wasn't showing signs of damage, and if she positioned her hands differently on the sensitive tracking pad, it might stop erasing her entries. She was feeling a little embarrassed because she would have to tell her ride that the trip was unnecessary, but Bryce said "just tell them the computer tech wasn't smart enough to fix it" and keep the rest to herself. That was just the sweetest way to handle an elderly client. He was patient and kind and I just wanted everyone to know how amazing Bryce was. And he acknowledged me when I entered even as he was helping the lady ahead of me. Then when it was my turn, he handled my issue with ease. Great job, great worker.

They ran diagnostics beforehand and, according to their own system, there were no other issues. I was told it would take about 24 hours; instead, they kept it for over a week. When I picked it up, the battery was very low. I quickly opened several files to make sure everything was there, and it appeared to be. When I tried to shut it down, it wasn't responding, but I was in a hurry and assumed it had frozen because I had opened several things at once. A few days later, I charged it and turned it on. It could no longer find an installed operating system. I was in complete shock. This computer had NEVER had a technical issue other than the battery. I took it back the next day. When I returned, they said it was "fixed." Then I asked if my files were still there, and the employee's expression immediately changed. They were ALL GONE. Instead of explaining exactly what they had done, I got theories: maybe a power issue at my house, maybe some hidden problem they hadn't detected -- despite their own initial diagnostics showing no other problems. The facts are simple: I brought them a functioning computer for a battery replacement. After their service, it couldn't find an operating system. I brought it back, the system was reinstalled, and years of my files were gone. I NEVER authorized them to erase my computer or perform any procedure that would delete my data. Worst of all, they never took responsibility, never clearly explained what procedures they performed, and NEVER even offered to attempt data recovery. I lost years of business files, projects, documents, programs, and work that cannot be recreated. Yes, I should have had a backup, and I deeply regret that. But not having a backup does NOT give a repair shop permission to erase a customer's computer without authorization. Months later, I am still discovering things I lost because of this experience. I would never trust Mac Made Easy with another computer. BACK UP EVERYTHING before leaving your computer here and get in writing exactly what they are authorized to do with it.
