The best fixers of your iPhone on Maui. Dropped my phone this morning and shattered the glass. After my meltdown I headed to Verizon and basically it was use insurance with $175 deductible and wait for phone to believed back home ( bad idea ) or buy new one. Sales guy said hit this place up, so I did. Let's me say customer service wAs outstanding and had a new screen glass installed by the time I was done with lunch, OMG. Cost was $200 but totally worth it and back on the YELP path. Can't say enough good things about these guys, THANKS! read more

Just wanted to leave a quick review to thank the guys at Mobile Remedies for making my iPhone repair quick and relatively painless. They took a look at it, listened to my problem, tested it out and then quoted me $125 for parts & labor to replace my LCD screen. I also thought I might need the battery replaced, but they said it was fine. Within an hour, I had the call that my phone was ready to be picked up and it seems to be working just fine. I love that they are offering a 5% Yelp check in special (basically offsets the tax) and that you get a 1-year warranty on the repair. The location on Dairy Road (two doors to the left of Minit Stop) is convenient and there's plenty of parking available out in front. Note: A friend mentioned that it would have been an easy and inexpensive repair for me to do on my own (he showed me a kit for $14 on eBay), but if you're like me and would prefer to leave your electronics in expert hands, I give the thumbs up to MobileRemedies. iPhone6 installed the pacific ocean app on 4th of July and took the phone in 7/5. Quote seemed fair to me to see what we could salvage and what would need replacing. Expectations on timing were set from the time I dropped my phone off. (they were busy and may need more time -- np!) Updates were provided at reasonable intervals. Mobile Remedies was able to get my phone booted up just long enough for me to stand around in the shop and reset all my MFA keys. Still, this saved me days of proving my identity through alternative means to get some of these keys reset. I could've had the phone fixed but it was already 2 years old and it was not worth it to me to continue down that road and I got what I needed anyway. In the unlikely event that I regret having not bought insurance for my new replacement iPhone7, they'll be first on my list to bring my device to. Also they are moving in the near future, so maybe want to call and confirm address in case there's some lag in updating Yelp. read more

Horrible experience. My boyfriend broke his phone while on vacation and we found this place. They fixed the phone, but broke a piece that made it impossible to make calls and gave it back to us as if nothing happened. When my boyfriend realized, we took it back and asked them to fix it. They couldn't. So we asked for a refund. They took our phone and put the broken screen BACK on the phone without telling us and then gave us a refund. The whole process took 3 hours! Michael is as honest as they get! The problem ended up not being the screen. It ended up being the chip, which he would need to send out for. But, he didn't recommend that we spend the money to do that since iPhone 6's are becoming obsolete. He recommended we upgrade to a newer model and didn't charge us a thing. Of course we gave him money for his time, but we really appreciated his honesty! He could have charged us to fix it, but he new that wasn't in our best interest! Had an amazing experience at this shop today!!! I came in because my IPhone won't take my passcode but Kai was able to work his magic and get through my phone. He was knowledgeable and informative about everything he was going to do, which I totally appreciate being a non tech person. Not only that, he was honest from the beginning. He told me what was wrong with my phone, what he can do, and he's not sure if it'll work or not, but he would like to try anyways. That alone shows character. After our initial 5-star dazzler review and a few weeks of phone usage to really see if their work was of quality workmanship, we're sad to report that the phone (iPhone 5s) isn't the same. Everything works fine except for when on a phone call. In the middle of a call, the phone will do a FaceTime call to the person on the other end if they're on an iPhone, and a lot of times the mute button will activate. That would make one think that the proximity sensor is broken, so we took it back in. Instead of trying to remedy the problem, the staff was very defensive about our claim, stating that they do not experience it, therefore it does not exist. Nice. Very Professional and fast. I had issues with my iPhone 4 (battery wouldn't charge, only to 10% and die). Last thing I wanted to do was buy a new one since the iPhone 5 is rumored to be coming soon. They suggested I replace the battery and charge port. 1-2 hours & $70 later, I had a working phone again! The best part was they switched the sim card to my old 3GS phone (which I had with me) so they could call me on it when the iPhone 4 was ready. Great service, professional and friendly. Dropped my iPhone 6+ this morning and shattered the glass screen. These guys at MR quoted me $225 plus tax to replace the glass. Just prior to this call, I had checked with my Apple Store on the mainland (Portland, OR) and was quoted $129 for the exact same repair. I asked the MR guy why the huge difference in cost, especially after learning the glass only cost them $8 and the the time involved is only about 10 minutes to complete. His answer (you'll love this) was: "There's really not much margin/profit in iPhone glass replacement repairs" - I'm a small businessman and would never begrudge someone/business from making a FAIR profit, but this is nothing but out-and-out price gouging. read more

Very honest and kind. My cell phone wouldn't charge which was a huge problem since I was leaving maui the next day. I called twenty minutes before they were closing and they said just bring it on by and they would look at it. He said that a dirty iPhone charging port was pretty common, cleaned it out for no charge and I was out of there in a minute. Very grateful, made a huge difference for me as I spent the last few months struggling with charging the iphone. These guys are awesome. After my iPhone decided to go for a swim in the ocean, Mobile Remedies was able to revive him back to life with their water damage magic. Thought I lost all of my vacation photos, plus the device itself...back to 100% working order with all data intact! Easily worth the money spent. Highly recommend anybody who goes through a water tragedy to immediately take their phone to these guys. Also, small tip: I learned that if you happen to take your phone for a dive, then putting it in a bag of rice is actually the worst possible thing you can do...I made that mistake and was informed upon bringing it into the store in a bag full of rice. A few days ago while on the island a family member dropped his S6 and cracked the screen and LCD. That was at about 3 pm. Did a search for a repair place and we decided on Mobile Remedies. The phone was repaired by 7 pm that evening (they are open until 8 pm). Total cost was $240.00. That price is about what we expected. Would have given 5 stars if they would have given a discount for paying in cash. To the review by Jack C. from 11/2015 who said he could get his repair done cheaper in Portland, well guess what, YOU WERE NOT IN PORTLAND and no one was forcing you to go to Mobile Remedies. Post a review of places that you actually go to, not your opinion of their pricing structure. i will never do business with these people! two weeks ago, i brought my sony experia 3v and was quoted a cost of $150. no problem there but the attitude of the person behind the counter was impersonal, short on response and not helpful or kind at all! i returned to have them fix my phone yesterday to a store that was closed during work hours, had a "we are moving" sign on the door so, i went to that location...that was closed as well!!! i was passing by later that day and found the old location open so, i went in, i was "helped" by the same guy with the same attitude but this time, he informed me they where no longer fixing my type of phone!!! what the heck? it was just two weeks ago they said they would! and yes again, i got the same damn attitude without even any reason or apologies for the change in "policy". i have already recommended that all my friends not go there for anything! needless to say that goes for me too!!!!! read more

Awesome service. They were honest and to the point. A piece of my charger broke off in the charging port of my ipad. Mike fixed it in 10 sec and for no charge!! Some companies probably would have taken it in the back and charged the standard labor fee. Koa was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions on iphone cases. They also wont do work on your device if its too pricey, they will suggest to get a new one if its not worth fixing. You can recycle your old phones and they even buy older phones from customers. I stopped in here for an estimate after I had shattered the screen on my iphone 5. When I came back one week later to get the repair done I was quoted a price $30 higher than the week before. I reminded the salesperson of the price they quoted me 5 days ago. She went into the back of the shop and came back a few minutes later and said that the price went up. I pressed my point - but "OK, whatever." I was pretty sick of using a shattered iphone. My power button wasn't working and they offered to fix it for $25 while they did the screen replacement. When I picked up the phone they had done a fine job of replacing the screen - but the power button hadn't been fixed. They were apologetic, and promised that I could come in when I was free and they would do the repair for $25 - the cost of parts. I came in a few months later, they pulled up my account, and the sales person went into the back again. After a few minutes she came back and informed me that they would be charging me $75, ($25 for parts plus $50 labor) for the repair. I reminded her that I had already paid for the labor, and they hadn't completed the repair. She said I should have come back within 7 days - and since I waited too long I would have to pay them AGAIN to fix something I had already paid them for. I walked. Apparently the owner likes to hide behind the employees and bully customers without ever showing his or her face. Yes, Mobile Remedies can repair your phone. But they are weasels who don't deserve your money. I went to my provider's shop at Queen Kahumanu and was referred to a guy who did the repair for $65. Mobile Remedies is a joke. read more

Had a screen on my iPad replaced. I wish I didn't bother spending money doing this. The new screen doesn't work right to touch, there's an awful delay and it pops and cracks when you press on it. A corner is also damaged, which I didn't notice until I got home. The price was not worth the repair. The staff also seems grouchy and not happy to be there :( read more

Should've went here first!! my son dropped my iphone6 in lahaina harbor! took it across the street to the other cell phone repair shop. they kept my phone overnight and charged me 50 bucks and weren't able to fix anything. i went home and found mobile remedies online and whaddya know they're located right across the street from the other store! took my phone in there and they were able to restore it!!! best part is they said if they couldn't fix it i didn't have to pay them. wish the other shop had that policy! read more

The crystal of my I phone was cracked, while on vacation on Maui. I went to Verizon on Maui to buy a new phone and they told me that I would have to sign up for a new service plan, which I expected, but also I would lose my unlimited data plan. I did not want to do that and went to Mobile Remedies which is about a block from Verizon. People were very nice, friendly and within about two hours they had replaced the crystal and checked out my phone for a reasonable charge and the phone looks brand new. The two people I worked with there were Emily and Jessica. Both were very professional, knowledgable, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. Very lucky I found this store. read more

Awesome service, very professional and very reasonably priced! iPhone 4 had water damage. Screen had lines, home button didn't work and would call people randomly. Waited a week before I took it in to see if it would come back to life. I thought it was toast. They cleaned out the corrosion, gave me a new screen, new home button and new charge port because I was having issues with that (clogged, corroded) $130 later phone is better than ever. I took a new I phone i dropped in the tube and Jessica a wonderful women who works there told me if they can't get it fully functional I would not have to pay. I thought to myself, whats the catch. WORTH THE READ! Not even owning my MacBook Air for more than 6 months. So before the fall 2017 semester started I decided to get my MacBook Air fixed by them because of what I heard they were "good". My classmate accidentally spilt her drink on my keyboard and it water managed to get through the silicone cover I had on my key board, it got on the left side of the keyboard and I immediately went home to air it out and waited the next day to get it checked out and fixed. When I went in the guy checked it out and I explained to him how it won't turn on and he told me that I had to get the battery replaced and it cost me $200. I waited about 2 weeks till they told me it was ready and fixed. When I got it back I noticed there was a big "X" on the battery icon on the right upper corner. I didn't make a big deal out of it because it was working. Until a few days later I noticed it started to only stay on when it was plugged to the charger and once removed it would completely shut off. I then brought it back and told me it may be the battery, so again they took it, ordered a new battery and......... no response back from them for a good week and a half. I drove to their location asking about an update which they haven't given me, I had to go to them to find out that they just ordered a new battery because the first one they got was defective from the company they ordered it from. So there I am waiting another week with no laptop when fall semester already started. With me having to make time out of my busy schedule with work and school and other things to stay at school to use their computers instead of the comfort of my own room or workplace, etc. Then finally, it was ready to be picked up and it will work only if it was plugged into the charger. Which I was totally fine with because as long as it stays on and I can get work done, that's fine with me. The same day after using it for about two hours, it starts to act up: The wifi icon went blank with a big "X" over it and it had nothing to do with my internet connection because every other device worked fine. So I went back again and they told me that the water has actually hit the motherboard which was damaged pretty bad and that the cost of replacing it will be more then buying a new laptop. I go asking then why was I told it was a battery problem and paid $200 for what wasn't the if problem. IF THEY KNEW from the beginning that the motherboard was irreplaceable, WHY suggest getting a new batter?!!!?!? MAYBE because they need money from me somehow!!! And before I left their store, the guy tells me "that's why we don't keep water next to our devices" The nerve of this guy telling me something I obviously know, and doesn't even know how'd it happened and how it wasn't my fault. I was very kind enough to not let my classmate pay for any damage because I knew it was an accident and she did not mean any of it. Considering what college students go through I would hate to have put an expense like this on her shoes. It's just ridiculous customer service. Never going back here ever, won't recommend this place to anyone. Not chancing people waste their hard work money into this. And one last thing, these guys need to explain to their customers about how they fixed things and their plans to fixing it.
