Horrible experience. Had my daughter's screen replaced while on vacation in Maui (April 7, 2025). When we picked it up the screen sat higher than the original but she assured us that was normal. When we got home the phone became glitchy and would shut off 2-3 times per day. About 2 weeks after we got home my daughter went to grab her phone and the screen fell off into her hand. When we took it to the Apple store they confirmed that not only was the screen replacement cheap, it was installed incorrectly. I have called 5 times (manager is always "away"), I have emailed twice, tried to contact them several times via their website, Instagram, and facebook. I didn't want to have to write a bad review but it is clear they have no intention of contacting us and refunding our money ($197 down the drain). Horribe customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs

Not only was he very friendly and awesome for meeting us at the Ocean Center... he also got the phone that accidentally got wet at the beach yesterday and was stuck on reboot mode today to turn back on! The phone is my friends and she was worried that she had lost all of the photos/videos of not only this trip but also from life over the past couple of years in general. She's not very tech savvy and was pretty sure she never setup backups so getting the phone back on was the best news she could hear. Lastly, in my opinion (being from the Bay Area and a techie myself) he doesn't charge enough for his services... and that says a lot about his as well. If you're having phone problems, shoot him a message and trust that he is not only honest but great at what he does. Thanks again, Alex!!

So I said screw it I can't go seven days without my phone as I do a lot of business on it. So I went to yelp and found this place! Maui cell repair doesn't charge you diagnostic fees like other places. I walked right in a guy named Yosef greeted me told him my problem. He diagnosed it really quick as the battery wasn't charging properly hooked it up to his diagnostic tool. Gave me a fair price told me he can get it fixed within the hour. Came back my phone like new and my normal daily life restored! Thank god for these guys life savers and they don't charge ridiculously prices to fix. Highly recommend these guys and will be coming back to fix other phones I have laying around for a back up! Mahalos Yosef!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with this store, especially given the urgency of the…read moresituation. I started calling before the store even opened and left multiple messages once they opened. Yosef eventually called me back about two hours later and said his phone had been on silent. I explained that my husband had accidentally dropped his phone in fresh water while we were on vacation. The phone would turn on briefly and then shut off, and we were trying to get it looked at as quickly as possible because we were traveling. From the beginning, the interaction felt rushed and disinterested. Yosef seemed annoyed when I explained the situation, but he also spoke very confidently and told me that he had resolved this type of issue "hundreds of times." He then told me he was closing early at 2 PM, even though it was only around noon, and said that if we were going to come in, we needed to come immediately. I had my husband take an Uber to the store, and after several calls I also explained that he was traveling and did not currently have a working cell phone. Based on how confidently Yosef described his experience, I felt reassured that he would at least be able to diagnose the problem and potentially repair it. Instead, when my husband arrived, the conversation apparently changed to him saying he could only "try." My husband was ultimately charged $60, only to be told that the motherboard was damaged and that he couldn't repair it. What bothered me most was the entire experience leading up to the charge. I was repeatedly given the impression that this was an issue they had extensive experience handling, yet once my husband arrived, there was no clear expectation that the phone could actually be repaired. Given the urgency of our situation and the fact that we were traveling, I felt pressured to bring the phone in immediately and then left feeling like I had paid $60 for a diagnosis I could have been given without all the initial confidence that they could resolve the issue. I understand that water damage can make electronics difficult or impossible to repair, and I don't expect a business to perform a repair that isn't possible. However, I do expect clear communication about what can realistically be done and what I'm being charged for before proceeding. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this store.

After patiently listening to her situation, he graciously steered her away from spending her money and gently implied that the computer wasn't showing signs of damage, and if she positioned her hands differently on the sensitive tracking pad, it might stop erasing her entries. She was feeling a little embarrassed because she would have to tell her ride that the trip was unnecessary, but Bryce said "just tell them the computer tech wasn't smart enough to fix it" and keep the rest to herself. That was just the sweetest way to handle an elderly client. He was patient and kind and I just wanted everyone to know how amazing Bryce was. And he acknowledged me when I entered even as he was helping the lady ahead of me. Then when it was my turn, he handled my issue with ease. Great job, great worker.

They ran diagnostics beforehand and, according to their own system, there were no other issues. I was told it would take about 24 hours; instead, they kept it for over a week. When I picked it up, the battery was very low. I quickly opened several files to make sure everything was there, and it appeared to be. When I tried to shut it down, it wasn't responding, but I was in a hurry and assumed it had frozen because I had opened several things at once. A few days later, I charged it and turned it on. It could no longer find an installed operating system. I was in complete shock. This computer had NEVER had a technical issue other than the battery. I took it back the next day. When I returned, they said it was "fixed." Then I asked if my files were still there, and the employee's expression immediately changed. They were ALL GONE. Instead of explaining exactly what they had done, I got theories: maybe a power issue at my house, maybe some hidden problem they hadn't detected -- despite their own initial diagnostics showing no other problems. The facts are simple: I brought them a functioning computer for a battery replacement. After their service, it couldn't find an operating system. I brought it back, the system was reinstalled, and years of my files were gone. I NEVER authorized them to erase my computer or perform any procedure that would delete my data. Worst of all, they never took responsibility, never clearly explained what procedures they performed, and NEVER even offered to attempt data recovery. I lost years of business files, projects, documents, programs, and work that cannot be recreated. Yes, I should have had a backup, and I deeply regret that. But not having a backup does NOT give a repair shop permission to erase a customer's computer without authorization. Months later, I am still discovering things I lost because of this experience. I would never trust Mac Made Easy with another computer. BACK UP EVERYTHING before leaving your computer here and get in writing exactly what they are authorized to do with it.
