So I said screw it I can't go seven days without my phone as I do a lot of business on it. So I went to yelp and found this place! Maui cell repair doesn't charge you diagnostic fees like other places. I walked right in a guy named Yosef greeted me told him my problem. He diagnosed it really quick as the battery wasn't charging properly hooked it up to his diagnostic tool. Gave me a fair price told me he can get it fixed within the hour. Came back my phone like new and my normal daily life restored! Thank god for these guys life savers and they don't charge ridiculously prices to fix. Highly recommend these guys and will be coming back to fix other phones I have laying around for a back up! Mahalos Yosef!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with this store, especially given the urgency of the…read moresituation. I started calling before the store even opened and left multiple messages once they opened. Yosef eventually called me back about two hours later and said his phone had been on silent. I explained that my husband had accidentally dropped his phone in fresh water while we were on vacation. The phone would turn on briefly and then shut off, and we were trying to get it looked at as quickly as possible because we were traveling. From the beginning, the interaction felt rushed and disinterested. Yosef seemed annoyed when I explained the situation, but he also spoke very confidently and told me that he had resolved this type of issue "hundreds of times." He then told me he was closing early at 2 PM, even though it was only around noon, and said that if we were going to come in, we needed to come immediately. I had my husband take an Uber to the store, and after several calls I also explained that he was traveling and did not currently have a working cell phone. Based on how confidently Yosef described his experience, I felt reassured that he would at least be able to diagnose the problem and potentially repair it. Instead, when my husband arrived, the conversation apparently changed to him saying he could only "try." My husband was ultimately charged $60, only to be told that the motherboard was damaged and that he couldn't repair it. What bothered me most was the entire experience leading up to the charge. I was repeatedly given the impression that this was an issue they had extensive experience handling, yet once my husband arrived, there was no clear expectation that the phone could actually be repaired. Given the urgency of our situation and the fact that we were traveling, I felt pressured to bring the phone in immediately and then left feeling like I had paid $60 for a diagnosis I could have been given without all the initial confidence that they could resolve the issue. I understand that water damage can make electronics difficult or impossible to repair, and I don't expect a business to perform a repair that isn't possible. However, I do expect clear communication about what can realistically be done and what I'm being charged for before proceeding. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this store.

Shout out to Greg at the Hookele Verizon store…read more I've been putting off getting a new phone for a long time. I had an iPhone 8. Its 2025. My camera was just about dust, the volume only worked on speaker phone, I could no longer update apps. It was time. It should be noted that I have actually gone in to get a new phone at different locations and walked out due to aggressive sales tactics and just not feeling heard. Maybe I'm stubborn, or old school but when it comes to phones, I just need it to work and take decent photos. Greg was calm, professional and understood what I wanted. He still went over all of my options and upgrade deals but did not push back when I didn't show interest in certain packages. I gave him my game plan and let him know I'm not interested in all the bells and whistles. He was very accommodating. I was in and out in less than an hour and got a much needed upgrade without any stress. I will only go to this location moving forward! Thank you!

To top it off, she was extremely impatient; while I was trying to read the documents I was required to sign, she actually clicked away before I could finish. To make matters worse, we still haven't even received a receipt for the purchase. Buying a new phone is a big commitment, and I expected much more professional and transparent service.
