Poorly professional business and employees. Extremely poor customer service. Moved my number from Verizon to the mobile do to provider connection issues. Prepaid account. The customer service via online also extremely poor professional as we couldn't even get a live rep on the phone. My number was lost and not ported because Verizon says it was wrong account number. I showed them my billing statement with the account number snd they said oh well we can't help you. Wow. Verizon I hope you Fail as company piss poor service. I would recommend finding another phone provider to anyone who would ask. I had been a customer for 7 years never missed a payment and this is how they treat their customers. The short version: Go speak with Kiara, James, or Nicolas. They're super helpful, and genuinely care. The long version: This review is a couple of months overdo. I try to do reviews after each occurrence. This review is geared towards the customer service I received at the Deerbrook Mall Verizon location (not located inside the mall, but along the southbound frontage road). I've been a Verizon customer since leaving AT&T back in 2012, and haven't had a qualm since. I have heard that service can be questionable at some of the store sites, but I've received some exceptional service this year alone in three incidences at the Deerbrook location. The first was in late July of this year when I bought an iPad Pro. I have a 2nd Gen. iPad from 2009 or 2010, with only wifi capability. It had lasted forever, but was time to buy a new one because I couldn't make updates on 16GB. I went into the store to look, but wasn't planning on buying anything just yet. James was the customer service specialist who helped me. The dude was knowledgeable, honest and helpful, plus patient. I wanted to make sure that I could get unlimited data because I only had 4GB as part of my plan with my iPhone, which is not a lot of data to split between iPhone and iPad (with cellular capability). The dude was awesome, he ordered me a 256GB cellular iPad to be shipped to my house, and I could set it up. I decided, for billing reasons, to hold off until the billing cycle was over before the unlimited data plan started. Got the new iPad, set up, no problems. Two weeks later though I hadn't had unlimited data kick in so I went in to see James, but he was on vacation (Boo! just kidding), so I spoke with Nicolas. I explained to him the problem and he fixed it within 60 seconds. Boom! Unlimited data. It was just the system hadn't updated from what James had done. This was a brief interaction, but Nicolas was so fast at correcting whatever needed correcting that I could recommended asking help from him. Fast forward now to yesterday (13-September) and the new iPhone 8 and X have been announced by this time. I'm not impressed with the features, nor am I interested in paying a grand, so I decided to buy an iPhone 6s Plus (sorry I can't let go of the headset port) to replace my almost three year old iPhone 6Plus. I asked for Jame, but it was his day off (dude, your schedule is killing me). Kiara was the customer service representative who helped me. She was so sweet, helpful, and patient. She got me the phone I wanted in space gray with 128GB, put on the tempered glass on my phone, and didn't use any high pressured sales of add-on accessories, which is annoying so management should take note NOT to push your people to do that to customers. She was patient as my phone backed up to the cloud and let hang around as my new phone was updating, as I had traded-in and surrendered my old phone. I commend you if you read through all of this, but if you're looking for super helpful people that genuinely will listen to you, help you, and not be rude, then I can safely recommend Kiara, James and Nicolas. I will always ask for one of the aforementioned first, but you as you can see there is consistency at this location, which has competent people across the board who are friendly and customer driven. I used to just use post paid phone services. My husband got a job a little further out than we were used to being and so his phone service was lacking.. I have always heard great things about verizon my entire adult life. I wanted to go ahead and get an Iphone for the cricut design space as I am a crafter. Well needless to say after some thought I went for it. I walked in to the humble verizon store and I ended up walking out with 2 Iphone 8's a Iwatch series 3 and a HUM for my vehicle.. Add in cases and charger dock ect.. I walked out paying almost 2000 dollars. I was stoked. I fell in love with my watch but now after about a month I have nothing but issues!! My hum wont connect to my vehicle. I have been on the phone with hum several times and have found no resolve. My Iphone 8 (Brand new my ass) had a defected front facing camera..no worries though I pay a good 40 a month on my bill for insurance so they sent me another one.. I cant transfer my info over to the new phone so I can send the old one back when I walked into the store to have someone help me because I pay a fuck ton already I was told it would be a 30 service fee for them to help me.. wonderful my first bill was 522 already for two lines.. would love to know why since I paid half the phone off and the watch entirely off when getting this shitty service.. oh yeah about that I GET NO SIGNAL AT WORK NONE AT HOME MY INTERNET IS SLOW AS SHIT!!! I HAVE NEVER EVER HATED SOMETHING AS MUCH AS I DO THIS COMPANY!!! I am being screwed no one wants to help me I cant get out of this satanic contract no matter how much ive begged they are not being helpful I am out 3000 on something that I truly believe the devil created.
