Franklin is your go to guy here...very knowledgable! Much different experience than my visit to the Tomball location. They are slowly replacing the live phones since their store recently got robbed but they had an S5 in the back that I played with so just ask! VZW has a new (well - returning) customer! Went to the Verizon store at 1960 and elridge. Watch out these guys are rip off artists. They told my wife and I one story when we got the phones. Then the bill from verizon came and it was much higher. My visit to the store generated a lot of bs and lies. They denied that they had lied to me and offered a different version. Don't do business with this store, go to a honest Verizon stores. read more

I was not impressed at all at this little location. We had a gift card from Verizon that could not be used at this location...we asked why not and were told when YOU find out let us know. Went outside and called another location and were given a valid reason why it could not be used. Not sure if go back to this location EVER. read more

Franklin, again has professionally and quickly assisted with my cell phone at the Vintage Park location! Twice I took my phone to Tomball's 4 corners store, it being closer, and both times left without the issue being resolved. Overheating, I went to the location last Thurs and was told to call and use a phone tech to analyze the issue. A replacement was authorized Fri to be mailed. Received Tues, took to store the same day for transfer and activation - Rick said it wouldn't take long - hours passed nothing transferred. Wed morning son took my phone to Vintage's Franklin, who immediately resolved everything. And now the old phone is in the mail to Ft Worth. I will SKIP the Tomball store from this point forward and GO STRAIGHT TO FRANKLIN, and anyone who wants quality service should too! read more

If there were a star labeled thieves, it would be the most accurate one to use. Went to store to start new service and a new phone. After standing outside the door, waiting to get buzzed in (its Vintage Park - why the check cashing store security system?) while watching the younger sales guy finish his text. A few minutes later, the manager looked up to see us standing outside and let us old shady looking customers in. Greeting us with what appears to be the standard response: "what do you want". Shocked but needed to get what I needed. The manager took over the sale and I went on to purchase the new phone ($$$$$$) and the manager provisioned the line by computer. About 2 minutes later we left with the new phone still in box and not ready for use as I needed to do a backup of my old one. Got home and realized that I was charged not only a fee for activation but for "phone set-up". $80.00 on top of the phone and new line of service. I called the store to discuss and the manager went on to explain it was normal to charge $40.00 for phone activation as well as $40.00 to open the box. While it was exceedingly difficult to understand him, it was clear that this was an explanation given often. At this point I am livid and asked to speak with the owner in which I was told he wasn't available. I asked for him name and time I could call to speak with him/her. He stated AJ and "your guess is as good as mine. He don't come here so it looks like you're gonna have to deal with me and I'm not dealing". I hung up in disgust and headed over there. Figuring it was best to discuss face to face. Upon my arrival, I watched another couple, fuming mad over the very same issue and demanding that the matter be resolved. The manager started blaming the customer telling him he was going to call the police because they called him a liar and thief. The manager proceeded to tell the couple (one of which appeared to be disabled as he was older and had a cane) that he didn't like his attitude and would not provide him with any other assistance and to get out of the store immediately. As I already saw what the last customer went through, I decided not to be subjected to the same. I've tried to find the owner of the store as they need to know what is happening. But can't. They need to know what is occurring at their business. I'm sure they invested a good deal of money considering the location and if the current staff remains, the problem with customers complaining won't be an issue for long as there will be none left. read more
