Don't repair your iPhone screen at Gadget MD. They use some cheap knockoff glass and did not disclose that they were using an aftermarket part. My replacement screen had washed out colors and then it broke the 1st time I sat down with it in my pocket. The original lasted 2 years, sat on it multiple times a day, and only broke because I partially shut it in a car door. Apple charges $149 which is only $10 more than what Gadget MD charged and you get a 90 day warranty. If there was a zero star option that is what I would give them. read more

They do not answer the phone, the website has the web-form that states "Quote by End of Day" which should be renamed by end of year. Can't schedule a time as they have not figured out how to answer a phone or manage voice mail as the mailbox is full and unable to leave a message. force you to drive to shop and drop off where they tell you three hours only to go back and find out they have to order the part (which you have to pay in advance) and it will take a day or two, then have to go back and drop off again and come back in three hours only to find out again that they received the wrong part and it will take another week!!!! read more

Extremely professional and fast turnaround. I went in for what I thought was a broken charging port but the gentleman dealing with the customers advised me that it was just dirty. He didn't even have to tell me that. I was under the impression I was coming in for a repair. He cleaned it up within 5 mins and didn't even charge for it. I know many places that'll either charge for cleaning or would've replaced it knowing it was just dirty just for some extra money. Respect to you and I'll always come back here now. The customer service here is EXCEPTIONAL! My iPhone fell down the stairs a week after I got it. I passed by this place several times but never thought anything of it. When the screen for my phone broke, I decided to give them a try. I called and made an appointment. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm welcome by an employee named Yvette! She was the one who also assisted me with my screen repair. I was asked a couple of questions regarding what exactly I wanted, then my phone was on its way to a new face! I'd say my phone was repaired in as little as ten minutes! I was so ecstatic! My phone looked brand new again! Customer service here was so great! I was really surprised by the level of professionalism and how knowledgeable Ms Yvette was. All issues with my phone were resolved,and she explained to me the benefits of investing in a case for my phone. (Which I did) I mean who wants a broken screen twice right?? lol. Yvette was very friendly and helpful. The customer service and speed were excellent, no complaints there. Used a coupon from Yelp and got 10% off too. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of five is that with the replacement screen, the color is washed out and sometimes I have to give the screen a firm push in the corners to get it to respond. I guess this is because it is not an Apple part. But if you are in a pinch and need your phone repaired in a rush I would recommend them. read more

My IPhone got smashed so I brought it here, she woman at the counter was super friendly and able to get the whole screen replaced quickly. My repair wasn't cheap but it was cheaper than a new phone and added payments to the phone plan! I walked into this place with an iPhone 5S that had a shattered screen (my friend accidentally ran over it with her car) and when I left the shop, my phone was fixed perfectly and looked brand new! I didn't have an appointment but they helped me right away. The total amount of time it took for them to fix my screen was 15 minutes!!! I was in and out of this place so fast! The customer service was fantastic and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Overall I'm very pleased! I first took both of my tablets in because they wouldn't hold a charge...they said it would be about an hour wait...I went home (waited several hours) went back, wasn't ready yet...after 5 or 6 calls I finally one back...then several days later they told me my second tablet was ready...stopped by there on my way home from work..."oh, Mrs....., we're sorry but that didn't fix it, we think you need a new battery" so I pay for a new battery and was told I'd have to wait about a week for it to come in....well, it's been 2 1/2 weeks and still haven't heard back from them...I called today, they put me on hold 17 minutes..I finally gave up holding...I have now left 4 messages today and now they're not even answering their phone...DO NOT GO to the Humble location!!! they don't care! read more

Yes, a bit pricey but they saved my wife's iPhone5 after she put it thru a full wash/rinse cycle in the pocket of her bathrobe. A few weeks later my phone did a 2 1/2 gainer onto the pavement and completely shattered the screen. Walked in and out in under 30 minutes with a new screen. You may shop for cheaper but I don't think you'll find better for a few dollars of savings and the hassle of a trip to wherever for the repair. I HIGHLY recommend them. read more

Iphone screen repair seemed like it was a good idea here... however, days after the repair my phone screen began to peel off as well as having a dead pixel on the right side of the screen. Could not do anything about it because it was physically damaged by the workers here who can't seem to put a phone screen on correctly. $140 down the drain, stay away and get an official screen from apple! Please Beware of this business!! I left my phone with Gadget MD Kingwood for repair. When I returned to retrieve my phone, I was told my phone was lost. They told me they would look for it however I did not get a phone call back. I had to call them asking daily if my phone was found. I was told my phone was lost/stolen. The owner never apologized and did not attempt to resolve. I was told that due to the store being remodeled it could had been stolen by workers or employees. Upon trying to find resolve I was given poor attitude by employees and no one would accept responsibility. Please beware of this business and deal with them with risk. They will not take ownership & care of your property. They should not be doing business in Kingswood. read more
