Dropped my PS5 off to have the disc drive replaced. I was told that the total price would include parts and labor. I opted to spend a little more and have them do a deep clean since they would have it all tore apart anyways. I get a call a few weeks later stating it was ready for pick up. I come to pick up and try it out before I leave. We tried it and the drive makes a clicking noise and didn't work. They rep apologized and said he would get it fixed. Few weeks go by and I get a call to come pick it up. They are saying my disc (brand new game) is bad and that's what broke the disk drive. I bring multiple games to try and the first one worked great. I ask to use the game they suspect causes the damage and was told no as it would void their warranty. I'm getting upset at this point and tell them fine if it breaks it's on me. Then he says well you still owe me another $50 for parts. I argued that when I dropped if off I was told everything was included in the repair bill that's listed as parts and labor on the receipt. The disk drive was able to accept the disk without all the clicking noise and it did give an error message. I initially had this error when I was installing the game will delete and reinstall it when I get home. The new case was dirty and scratched up. Please find a better place that will take care of your product and not try and scam you out of more money that should be included in the original cost. read more

Terrible company and practices! Here's my experience from beginning to end and I'd advise you to stay as far away from this place as possible. I went into Cell+ER after I was experiencing a fuzzy screen on my apple watch. So I went in one day in June. I don't remember the exact day but I remember explaining to the worker the issue with my watch; fuzzy screen, which made it completely useless. I want to say it was about 2 weeks before I got a call or text back that my watch was ready. I definitely know that the process was longer than what I thought it'd be to get fixed. I was later informed that the main technician was out on vacation or something along those lines. I got my watch back and was told the screen had to be replaced and not to put it in water or get it wet; which apple watches are waterproof but I was told because they had to open it up that there was no longer a seal to provide the waterproof protection. I should have stopped there because sweating while using an apple watch to workout is a normal occurrence. The very first time I worked out using my watch it started to malfunction. I couldn't swipe to end my workout. This occurred a couple more times before I decided that the watch was useless so I'd have to inform them that their "repairs" didn't work. I brought the watch back to them under the assumption that, I brought the watch in initially and when I received it, it was not fixed. Let me tell you, these folks told me after calling me a few days after dropping it off a second time that it was ready for pickup. I go in thinking I'm just picking up my watch after giving them an opportunity to fix their "repair". They then quoted me a price of $150. So I asked them how is that I have to pay for a "repair" that they didn't fix in the first place. They then stated that the watch had water damage. To which I stated, yeah that's what I was told when they "repaired" it the first time and that it was fixed. Now they are saying its water damage that the technician didn't pick up the first time (Remember I told you that the main technician was out on vacation at the time of my first repair). So I'm thinking how is it that because water damage was missed the first time that I now have to pay an additional $150 on top of the $150 that I paid the first time (a new apple watch costs $329). They then ask me what would I consider fair. To that I stated, you all missed a repair so fair to me is fixing my watch without trying to charge me for it. The owner or manager then goes on this rant about how much the parts are to repair the watch and that he'll drop the labor fee and just charge parts. I expressed that that was bad business. I did however ask if I don't want them to do the repair (because at this point I don't trust their work), then what. They stated that I'd have to pay a $49 diagnostic fee just to get my broken watch back. My initial diagnostic was $25 but now because I don't want to use the repair service it jumps to $49 just to get back a watch that is broken. I feel like the water damage notice in the receipt is just a way to cover themselves from repairs they mess up. Easy for them to say that its water damage and not covered under any warranty as a result. This is my experience with them. If I can turn one customer away from them it'll be worth the time and headache its been dealing with them. Stay far away from this place. Read the reviews! Not just the good ones. Look at the amount of reviews they have compared to other cell phone repair places, and how many people have only reviewed one or two places. Watch how they try to bury this review with other reviews. Go back years and read the ones from when they first opened. I hope my review helps you choose another store. read more

I searched for my receipt so I could name drop who did the work, as they were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, but at the time of the review I cannot find it (I'll update if I do as good work should be noted). Not only did they hold the computer for over 2 weeks but they charged HIM for parts and additional labor only to return the device worse than when it went in. with the type of repairs they did, it is apparent they are NOT EXPERTS in repairs but also that they have a backlog and do do s*it right in the amount of time promised. I took my iPhone to get the screen replaced. The service was polite and quick. My original phone cracked because I dropped it on concrete without a screen protector. Two weeks later, the replaced screen cracked, and it cracked when it hit my plastic trashcan in my kitchen. I understand that third party screens are not as durable or reliable as the original manufacture's screen. But I had a cover and a screen protector, so I expected the replaced screen to last a bit longer than two weeks. I called, and the man told me the screen is not under warranty for cracks. I get it; however, the screen needs to be more durable. I went to this place because the price was cheaper. My mistake. I'll make sure to go to a different location with a better warranty policy and just pay more money for the screen replacement. But if you want a cheaper, less durable replacement screen, that will probably crack with regular everyday use, then this place is for you. read more

Save your money bc if you read more reviews all the glass breaks within weeks of replacement. List of red flags, the glass is aftermarket (yea it's a third party) but for someone who is not IT, I felt and saw the different from another third party replace company glass. I understand its not going to be apple standards. My backing lasted a week and a half. Before saying anything (when walking in to the store) to the tech he IMMEDIATELY went into defensive mode with not listening to how long I've had it replace to saying "no warranty". I 100% didn't drop it. I would pay for it to be replaced if it did and not waste my time with a review. Honestly if the tech just state "I'm sorry this happen, warranty will cover labor but not he glass" I probably would have just paid for it and been on my way. Glue is everywhere, on the backing, slide, and even in the front of my screen. Save your money and go somewhere else (Just go to apple). Honesty with this now being my second third party repair shop: I WILL NEVER GO BACK or TIP the tech (oh yea I'm not a cheapskate and I actual tip the tech who did this and the when I came back doesn't give a crap. This is 100% why I will never tip in this industry again: because of your customer service and reaction when a product you fixed doesn't last 2 weeks. I didn't drop it. I've been careful and bought a brand new otterbox with a higher protection then my last case. My wife brought her iPhone 8+ to get a cracked screen fixed and it was replaced with a third party screen. The rep neglected to mention that installing a third party screen prevents the customer from taking the phone to Apple ever again to have the screen replaced. The third party screen they installed didn't work right from the beginning and cracked after three months. When we initially walked in the rep said the screen was warrantied for 3 months but when he looked it up and realized it had been less than three months, he and the manager said there's no warranty for screen damage. I expressed that I was extremely frustrated that I wasn't told before buying the screen that I would never be able to take it back to apple and eventually the manager said he didn't think there was a way to make me happy and handed me the phone. Buyer beware. Just pay the little extra and take it to Apple. You'll be glad you did. read more

Upon calling around and also checking with Apple. This was my go to place. Let's just all agree that iPhones aren't cheap! And replacing a cracked screen can be costly, but they work with you. And it took about 45 minutes. Their right next to Bubba T Cajun kitchen so we ate there while it was being fixed. Their prices are great in my opinion and some of their protective cases came with a free screen protector, or privacy screen. Side note, prior to getting my phone fixed my case was in pretty bad shape and there's different ways to sell a phone case BUT he just completely threw his phone on the ground.... picked it back up and said see.... and I didn't even have a screen protector on it. well I'm pretty sure you guys can guess my expression, but I was very much sold and told him I'd be back to pick one up when I return to pick up the phone. It's a clean place, cleans pretty great when you walk in and there's a comfy couch with tv for waiting purposes, it was a pretty smooth transaction for me. This place is a total rip off. I came in with a problem on my phone, showed it to the guy and he said "oh yes a scheme repair". The screen was repaired, note it wasn't broken but the board wasn't typing. It did not fix the problem, I came back to them a day after it got "fixed" and they said "oh yeah, iPhone 6s have this problem a lot, it's a mother board repair. They did credit the screen repair and discounted it off my second service of a mother board repair. Then a few days later my phone is getting hot and my camera is out of focus. I come in and the same guy wants to say the same thing "oh yeah it's the iPhone 6s, they have that problem. Then he wants quote me another repair fee! This was a problem caused by them and they just want you to keep coming back over and over again! And to also NOTE, when I picked up my phone the first time he had sent a link to review it on google. I hadn't filled out the review yet, obviously needed some time to see how my phone worked. When I walked in he took the phone and wrote the review himself! Came here to repair phone again after the Katy location repaired initially. Initial repair was the Apple air iPad 1 but the batter wouldn't charge afterwards. This store replaced the battery under warrenty due to problems from initial repair. Happy with service and customer care. Took about 4 days total to get the iPad back since had to order parts and replace.
