My Ipad screen cracked on my ipad. I brought it in for repair and was shocked at how expenssive it would be. But, since I had an IPAD PPro with 512 GB, and a new one would have cost about double the repair costs I decided to go for it. I picked it up and was so frustrated. The touch screen worked sometimes and at other times it did not making texting, writing, news scrolling, and gameplay impossible.here is an example. If I tried to write "Mary had a little lamb it would look like this: "arrrrr hhaaaa a littttttttle ambbbbbbbbbb" Many times I would have to hit a letter 10 times to make it actually type. Its also seemed that if the bezel in any way I could not use it. For instance before bed if i rested the ipad on my chest i could not scroll through a news artical. Basically the repaired Ipad was nothing more than a mechanism to raise my blood pressure. So I called The Repair Mob. They were very nice and told me that they would order a new screen and replace my old one. Months went by and no call. So I drove in and talked to the person who rapaired it. He promised me that he would order me a new screen and call me. Again , no call. I have just given up at this point. I give them 2 stars because they were nice, I also think there intentions were good, but there was never any follow through. I am sure that they put in a bad aftermarket screen. Not their fault that they got a bad part, but they should have jumped on the re-repair. The work looks good but the screen simply rarely works. read more

I brought my iPad in to be repaired. It had a cracked screen, but worked perfectly well. The repair mob put an aftermarket screen on it that is totally unresponsive. Or sometimes totally over responsive. I can be trying to read an article with my fingers off the screen, when suddenly, the screen goes crazy. The iPad will just start opening and closing windows. At other times I will click on objects and nothing happens. Sometimes I see a virtual button depressed, but no action takes place. It is so frustrating! I called Repair mob and they said they would call me when they got a new screen in. They never called me. So I went into the store and demonstrated the problem. The guy again told me he would call me when the new screen came in. That was just lip service. I've given up on the store. And I've been struggling with my iPad ever since visiting them. I tap the screen so hard trying to make it work, that I actually cracked it again. I cannot believe I haven't broken it over my knee. I've come very close. Thanks Repair mob for leaving me a totally in operable iPad and charging me $600 for that disservice. I will never use this store again. Do yourselves a favor, if you need repair work done on an iPhone or iPad, bring it to a certified Apple store. Excellent service from the guys here. They explained everything they needed to do to fix my iPhone that wouldn't charge. Tried to simply clean the port first, and showed me that it still wouldn't charge. Replaced the lightning port for just $50 and I also asked to replace my tempered glass screen cover (which I bought for $25 at Verizon). They did it for only $10! I brought in my Surface 3 Pro for a screen repair. The result was a screen that would go haywire several times a day. I brought it back to be repaired again and was told it was a faulty part and he would order a new one. Weeks went by with no contact. After 3 weeks I called to ask when the part would arrive. It was obvious it was never ordered - he said it would take another week. After the second repair I noticed a black mark inside the screen that wouldn't go away. I had a great first-time experience here! I would for sure recommend this place to my friends, family, or anyone! My iPhone's 6s Plus display screen was completely unusable after being exposed to water, so I took it here to see what could be done. After checking it out, they gave me options. I could either claim it on insurance, or I could have them repair the screen and other things that needed to be fixed but at a much higher price. After reviewing the pros and cons of both and taking the amount of damage the phone had, the tech was honest and told me that the better option was to claim it through insurance. My only problem was that I had a huge test in the next 2 days to study for, and all my notes were on that phone. I mentioned this to the tech and he was kind enough to let me BORROW a screen while I was there so that I may transfer all my notes, backup my iPhone to the iCloud, and text important people that my phone was broken. This was a serious help! Also, while I waited for them to switch screens, I looked at the merchandise they had up for sale. The prices seemed very low! They had signs up that said their repairs had a warranty! The owner really knows his stuff! I discovered in a conversation with him that he had previously worked for AT&T. While this experience doesn't necessarily make him an "AT&T insider" I believe this does give him greater insight that he can apply to the tougher problems. I brought him a very weird problem involving my inability to conduct Reverse Bluetooth Tethering on my AT&T S8. I will spare you the details but the owner expended much more effort toward resolving my problem than I feel like I paid for. As a bonus he patently explained to me all of the technical concerns that caused my problem to emerge in the first place. I deeply appreciated this new understanding. Absolutely do not go to this place. Took an iPad in on a Saturday afternoon for a cracked screen repair. Was told it would be ready by Tuesday. Returned Wednesday at noon to pick it up and it was not ready. Was told one more hour. Returned at 5:15 to pick it up. Was not ready. Was told another hour was needed. Returned THE NEXT DAY at 12:15 and it was STILL NOT READY. He needed one more hour. Absolute waste of 2 hours of my time. Never received a single call saying the iPad wasn't ready. And all of this for a cracked screen repair, which is ridiculously easy to fix. I cannot imagine what it would be like if you needed a serious electronic repair. read more

Brought in my laptop because it wouldn't power on. Old charger cord was frayed and I bought a new one. I dropped it off and told the guy what was wrong. He said he'd have a look at it. I called back a week later because I hadn't heard anything. He told me he thought the motherboard was dead. I came and picked it up a couple weeks later. After doing some additional research online I took the battery out and plugged it in. The laptop powered on. Turns out it was just the dead battery and a laptop won't run with a dead battery even plugged in. It has to be removed. Made me wonder if the guy actually spent any time troubleshooting my laptop at all. I figured with all the positive reviews these guys would know their stuff and I was just baffled they wouldn't have caught such an easy fix. I'm not the most computer savvy but if I was able to find a solution online after putting my faith in a shop whose business I was initially eager to support, then think twice about taking your electronics here. A positive note the employee was very friendly but that's not enough to give these guys a second chance. read more
