The warranty is useless. I brought my phone in and they repaired it. During the reinstall of the screen the guy had a hard time seating the new screen but finally got it. A few days later I noticed a a small stress fracture in the glass at the bottom of the screen. A small u shape. Then my screen started separating from the case. I never really noticed it separating because I always keep it in a leather fold over case. When I brought it back in I asked the girl if I could watch. Her response was "no, because I need my space." You're on a pagoda in a mall... Whatever, I went for a tea. She glued the screen back and I left. Now when I text my phone starts pressing the space bar, the return bar, and some of the letters next to them. I have to back out and wait a while before I can start back up. I took it back today and was told they could not warranty it because of the small fracture. The girl who repaired the screen separation was there so I asked why she repaired when it was there. She said she didn't remember me. That's not true, she knew who I was when I called on the phone not even an hour before. The stress fracture happened during the first install when the guy forced the screen on, that's why it separated from the case. The keys press themselves also because the screen was installed incorrectly. You can go there and pay $160ish for a new screen but there is no guarantee that it'll be done correctly. Save your money and go somewhere where the person working on your phone actually owns the business. Not some kid who could care less about the quality of the work and who "needs space" because probably if you witnessed the work done to your phone you'd object. So I usually don't write reviews about sucky businesses. I LOVE reading your reviews, but I always feel guilty like I am singlehandedly RUINING a small business. I show love, not hate. This business is an exception, because they were so unprofessional. My son broke the digitizer on my daughter's iphone4s. I called Carlos at Advanced Cellular Repair in Deerbrook Mall as they just happened to be close by Houston standards, had a great price (60) and awesome time frame (30-45 minute estimate depending on how many customers were waiting). I scooped my kids up from their practices and headed straight over. It was Monday so my time was limited--got to get home and get showers and get ready for school tomorrow BUT this was only going to take an hour max, I figured, and I needed this done, too. My first clue that I wasn't going to the most professional place? I walked up on Carlos and he was texting a novela on his phone. I called his name and he continued to text BUT did acknowledge my calling his name. I reminded him I had called about the digitizer, and he said he remembered our conversation. He took my phone, took out a post-it note, wrote diagnose on it, along with my name and number, put it in a drawer and said he would call me in 30 to 45 minutes, as he was finishing up another repair. Well multi-tasker that I am I made a long neglected return, got my son some much needed running shoes and made a trip to Barnes and Noble all with my phone in my hand so as to make SURE I did not miss his call. I became irritated when I saw that it had been an hour and forty-five minutes and he still had NOT called me. I had to feed the kids, they had to take a bath-- I had a LOT of Mommy BS that HAD to get done and I still had not received a call about my phone. I decided to walk over and see what the status is on my phone repair. This time when I approach the kiosk I see a girl texting on her phone. I asked about the status on my phone repair and she gave me a blank look. I brought her up to date and asked where my phone was. She says Carlos did not tell her anything about a phone and starts to look for it. She pulls open the drawer where Carlos had stuffed it when I dropped it off and there it was with the same damn stickey note! They hadn't done ANYTHING at all to it! Even more annoying? Carlos had left for the night and he hadn't even called me to tell me they weren't going to get it. I had completely wasted my time! I could have been at home taking care of millon things that I needed to--instead I wasted my time at a mall on a Monday running weekend errands. I tried to think of a reason they would put my phone aside and not even call me to let me know and the only thing I could come up with is utter indifference. Cell phones are a vital part of our lives as is supported by their very own addiction to their cell phones while they were supposed to be working. I am amazed that a cell phone repair company wouldn't realize that. I began to think about that ridiculous pile of laundry I still had to tackle and became incensed. I asked for the manager. She explained Carlos WAS the manager and gave me a business card with the owner's (?) number for their Kingwood facility. I called immediately. They answered the phone and put me on hold for 2 minutes then hung up on me. I called back and they asked me to hold--I explained that they had just hung up on me and they apologized and put me on hold again. After being on hold for more than a few minutes I hung up--what was I hoping to happen? Obviously there was going to be no good outcome here--I knew then, it was time that I write a review. People who frequent small businesses have various motives like keeping money in their communities or sticking it to Fortune 500 behemoths. Small businesses like this just highlight why the behemoths came to be: they give great customer service--they have a boss and their boss has a boss and so on and so forth and staff are afraid of the waves one customer can make. Businesses like Advanced Cellular Repair obviously thought, "f#$* her!, it is a 60 dollar repair." And THAT was where they miscalculated. There is another company in Kingwood that does cellphone repair, and I guess I should try them, but at this point I will probably go to Apple and get it done. It is not conveniently located, that is true, but I know they will actually take care of me. read more

My daughters Iphone was horribly cracked and Thank the lord you guys fixed it in a matter of minutes which surprised me because it looked so nice when it was done! To start off with the customer service was impeccable I was immediately attended not to mention their prices are more than fair. To fix my phone they literally did it in under 30 mins and it wasn't something they rushed on because I'm more than a month in and my phone is still working in perfect condition. My wife and took two phones, an iPhone 4s and 5c, in to another local Humble cell phone repair shop to get the screen repaired on one and the face of the other one reattached and within a week both screens were cracked. I was so upset I didn't even want to call them. The 4s is used for work and I receive a lot of calls so I decided to take it to this repair shop. This place is open after business hours so that's great for a busy person like me. They handled the repair in 30 minutes, charged less, and were honest about the other company's work after looking at our phones. Is this what it's come to? I have to take my cell phones into different shops to get second and third opinions because of dishonesty. Anyway, it took very little time to get it fixed. They were nice and professional. Took my husbands I phone 6 plus in because his screen was blinking white at the top. They replaced the screen and within a few hours, the touch on the screen wasn't working (which it didn't have this issue before). So I brought it back and they replaced the screen again. Then after a few days, it wasn't working properly (not recognizing touch), so I brought it back a third time. This time they said they would need to have their "specialist" diagnose it. They kept the phone for 3 days and we repeatedly called to get a status update and they acted like they had no idea who we were. In the end, they stated they were unable to fix the phone because it has "a 1 in a million chance issue" that they don't know what to do. So we went up to their store to pick it up and they told us we couldn't keep their new screen, because we were not paying for the repair. So instead they replaced my husbands screen with a CRACKED screen! They said this was a recycled one. So now, his phone doesn't recognize touch AND is cracked! Very disappointed!!! His phone is in worse shape than it was when we originally brought it in for! read more

This place is also called GADGET CURE and located at a kiosk inside Deerbrook Mall at the food court. They are horrible DO NOT GO THERE. They do not know what they are doing. Initially I took my Galaxy 7 in and asked how much it would be to fix my cracked screen and I was quoted $80. The guy gave my his business card and wrote the "$80" quote on the card. A few days later, I decided to go back to Gadget Cure and get it fixed, but another guy quoted me over $100. When I showed him the business card quote, he said okay we will do it for $80. BUT guess what? They still charged me over $100. They charged me a deposit AND a separate repair fee, totally over $100. RIDICULOUS!!!! After going back and forth several days, they had excuse after excuse why it was not ready. They ordered the wrong part 2x, the part has not come in, they ordered another part because they damaged part of the internal part of my phone. They broke off my home screen button and tried to super glue a new (wrong size screen) to my cell, instead of using the proper adhesive for the screen. The whole experience was a MESS. Thank goodness I found another Cell Repair place in Kingwood who agreed to repair even without the cracked screen (LCD screen) attached that Gadget Cure kept and with a missing home button Gadget Cure broke off. And to top things off, they did not refund my credit card in 2-3 days as promised. I had to chase down my refund . 7 days later I had to go in personally, AGAIN, to request my refund. They tried to say "we credited you already, maybe your bank is holding the money......we show you got the refund" After some firm words, I got my refund the next day.
