Alex is fast, friendly, professional, and convenient. He responds to messages within minutes and can schedule repairs within a day or two at a convenient location, like a coffee shop. He replaced my broken iPhone 6 screen and battery (which only took about about half an hour) at a competitive price, and corrected a problem for me quickly. When Murphy's Law led to me cracking my new screen the same day, he fixed that fast, too. I highly recommend him for all those reasons, but also because he's a one-man business. Don't underestimate the value of that -- you talk to Alex, you get a quote from Alex, and Alex is the one who does the work for you. If anything is wrong, Alex is the one who makes it right. All his Yelp reviews are about him and him alone. There's no middleman, unlike most other mobile repair businesses, and it's not some kind of outsourcing thing where one person answers calls/quotes prices/does the scheduling then sends out a random repair person. That leaves too much room for error, they may not have the experience or track record you expect, and you have no way of knowing if the reviews you read are for that repair person or for others. I called Alex to fix my IPhone 5S screen. We chatted briefly on the phone then set up a time and super convenient meeting place (Starbucks) for the following day (he even gave me the $$ amount including tax so I'd be prepared) He text me 20 minutes prior to our scheduled time to confirm our meet, he was already there when I arrived. He was extremely personable and we chatted as he fixed my phone. He was fast and professional. He put a new screen on, changed my battery, added a tempered glass protector and did all his necessary testing to assure me I was good to go... in under 30 minutes. I called Alex randomly on a week day and he was available within an hour of the initial phone call. I cannot say enough good stuff about this vendor, because he is not only personable but he is also very knowledgable ; he is also patient and very articulated with his way of explaining what he's going to do. I was able to have lunch with him while he fixed my phone. Can't ask for much better. The following day I had an issue that I probably caused, but Alex was professional and kind enough to take another hour out of his day and deal with me just to make sure my phone was in perfect shape after he fixed it. About an hour and a half passed from the time I found him here, contacted him, and had my repaired phone back in my hand. He came to my shop and did his thing while I was in the next office working. He showed me what he did, tested it with me, swiped my card and cleaned up after himself and was on his way. Worth every penny. I'll never race to another one of those check cashing, insurance selling, prepaid phone pushing repair shops after work only to end up getting a flea market product at a slightly lower price. I wanted to wait a week before giving Alex a review here at Yelp. Just to make sure how my new screen was fitting. And after a week, I can say that Alex did a phenomenal job fixing my iPhone 7 Plus. I was so afraid he wasn't going to be able to fix it. My iPhone screen and LCD were practically destroyed.
