My husband went to this store to get the I Phone 17 deals, me and my daughter did trade ins, and he got the I phone air, we were told that his phone would only be $4 more since he didn't do a trade in and ours wouldn't be any charge, we paid taxes and fees up front on 3 phones. They let us know we could get insurance through them vs apple when he gave the price I let him know that that was kinda expensive, he assured me I could change it for a lower cost insurance after the credits fall off, by the way watches were added to the account, that we did not want but were told that that would fall off also, which they eventually did but we still got charged for insurance for the watch witch we didn't even order. In this time I did have questions, I have 3 young men's cell phone numbers who let me know if I needed anything to let them know, they let me know of what they were fixing on the account that never happened, and of course eventually they completely stopped responding to my messages. We went from a $77 a month bill to now $156 a month, I went in today to find out about the charge for my husband's phone and the insurance and was basically told it's only one price my only option is to cancel it, I called apple they said it's too late to add it through them, and my husband's phones is $40 something a month, we would have done better going with a different carrier, the only deal we got were LIES and a higher phone bill. You can never get a honest answer out of anybody that works there from what they say to what really happens. Very poor customer service I love calling from the U S and end up in the Philippines and get stuck with trying to communicate with somebody that can barely speak English they over charge for what you get. Always a problem with my internet on a daily basis very slow and takes forever if you want to stream any show. If you look on your phone for anything that is supposed to be available for the plan you choose it's not so you get charge over 160 a month for channels you should have but don't but you still get charged and God forbid you try to call customer service and the automated voice wants to send you a link to help you but is never any help bcz you can never access the link it's pathetic. Walked into the building and noticed that a lady that they stated was one of the managers was looking me up and down, she did this twice. She then approached and asked for my first name out loud and I thought that was unprofessional. I declined her service because she was unwelcoming, unapproachable, and not kind. I politely walked around her and proceeded to someone else which was the other manager. Then asked for my phone number out loud and once he got my information he then stated my address out loud and I asked him "please not to say my address out loud. This could have been easily done just by asking for my Identification (TXDL or TXDI). I will not turn to this store due to the service and the aggressive nature I received from the second store manager which stated to me "are you alright man" and I rebutted with yes, I just don't want my personal information shared out loud. I had Comcast for over five years and always had impeccable customer service. My husband and I recently moved into a house and had to get SuddenLink internet and Dish Network. Let me tell you. Both companies lack what Xfinity provided for YEARS. Internet is nowhere near as good, and while Dish has a voice remote, it's terrible compared to Xfinity. Plus, you get better results with Xfinity, and while my cable/internet/phone bill was higher than I liked, we were always pleased with customer service. The biggest secret to not having a high cable bill is call the month before your contract ends. I would negotiate the bill to a few dollars more/month. Xfinity, PLEASE come to more parts of Kingwood. I will cancel my other services the day you do. There are others in the area who feel the same as I do. read more

After over a dozen calls to get partial refund never ever was able to get a live agent so I drove to the store, there goes my time and money again! Spoke to a rep who typed some BS into the computer handed me over a BS hand written sticky note with the amount I was (supposed) to be receiving back into my account. I was able to be seen immediately and everyone was super friendly. Honestly one of the better locations I've been to. I had to return some extra equipment I received and it was super easy. Eric helped me out with returning it and even talked with me about deals they had going on which was good to hear, will be switching over to Xfinity mobile soon because of how well he was able to describe the deals and how it works. He even helped me out with the Self Protect that Xfinity provides which is something I had been considering. He explained how easy it was to set up the cameras and access the feed through the mobile app. I walked out with my Self Protect equipment with a pretty good idea of how much it would be on my bill, how to set it up at home, and how to access the feed with my phone. Final steps to complete process they provide a code, type it in and comes back, "does not match our records". Agents could not help. Said to call 800#. Good luck...endless voice prompts. They want you to do all the work...no service. Funny how a business in the communications business goes to great lengths NOT to communicate. Ridiculous hold times when you can finally get through the prompts. Wanted me to create a new e-mail to see if that works...Forget it. Incredibly bad sense of customer service. They truly don't care about you. Six staff members and 3 with people, 1 who's sole job is signing you up to wait. (10 min wait, yeah right! Wow, so let me just start off. NEVER COME IN HERE ASKING QUESTIONS. I was interested in a phone service with them because they offered a cheaper plan for me when getting the internet. They said they had to see if my phone was compatible and needed my account and pin. They canceled my account before I could ask my other provider for the terms and conditions of leaving them. So I had to buy a whole new phone from them because they already signed me up before my ok, or permission. Then said I qualified for a free phone, then they said I couldn't even finance for a phone I had to pay flat out, then they said I could finance. So I financed. They gave me a SIM card and said it would be that easy. I couldn't get the sim card in to work. So they had to give me another sim card for the phone. Then they had put on there an extra line and kept carving me extra each month and three times deleted the phone service supposedly and refunded me an amount. And still I believe it's been wrong. They've been monopolizing my bill how ever they wish since I've been with them. They either don't know what their doing or their essentially conning their customers out of money. I asked for a list of the refunds and what my bill was supposed to be with insurance and the lady got upset and went to get her manager. After being over charged each month and every time I go I have to get back in line and wait three times on adverse because they can't fix the problem the first time.. I really don't want to be with their branch. And I wasn't even offered anything for the hours of time I've spent with them on their mistakes. They get paid to make these mistakes but I lose money from their mistakes and having to come in back and fourth sometimes two days in a row to fix a problem that their just going to make again two months in a row after. This is CRAZY. I don't even feel like this review will do anything. And like the lady was so offended and upset that after ALL of this I said NO you need to tell me what I am supposed to be charged and what I was charged. I am not asking for anything special. The service was speedy and efficient. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the employee at the front desk. The atmosphere of the store was excellent, it smelled good, it was clean, music was playing in the background and the employees seemed friendly. After the employee checked me in, it took about 2 to 3 minutes for a rep to get with me. I went in to turn in one of my extra cable boxes, they scanned the barcode, printed the receipt for proof of turn in, had me digitally sign my turn in and BOOM, I was finished!! 5 stars! This happen today - Aug. 20, 2020 in the Xfinity Store by Comcast Location at 9477 FM-1960, Ste 400, Humble, TX 77338 I have had a very long day dealing with my Comcast/Xfinity service. It's a very long story, I'm super tired and I do not feel like getting into it all so I will keep it brief. I have had service with Comcast/Xfinity for a very long time (nearly a decade) and it has been a rocky road dealing with this company. I've been told many untruths, hung up on by reps, and blind-transferred many times. My service has been getting worse and worse. Today I called and spoke with someone in customer service who told me about a package that would be cheaper than the one I had. She said I could get their latest modem/router with speeds up to 600 Mbps (I was currently getting 70 Mbps). My signal was constantly dropping, buffering, and sometimes no signal at all. I was always instructed by tech support to reboot to fix the issues, but it was ongoing so much so I stopped calling because it was useless. The phone rep advised me to take my old modem to the local store and request the 600 Mbps with the latest XB7 modem for $60/month (which was $9 less a month than what I was currently paying). She explained that once I swapped out the modems, to call the company back to activate it. I drove to my local Comcast location in the Houston heat only to find out what I was told by the customer service rep on the phone was untrue. The reps at the store let me know there was no such deal. Understandably I was very angry, but I'm happy to report that this story has a happy ending. Both the store manager and customer service rep at the store I spoke to were so very nice and kind. They went out of their way to find me the best deal possible and agree to exchange the modem for the one I wanted. Honestly, they were incredible. I wanted to write this review to thank them, express my gratitude and let their company know that I truly appreciate the kind and respectful way that I was treated. I didn't get their names but this is the store location: 9477 FM-1960, Ste 400, Humble, TX 77338 I also plan to call and speak with a Manager or Supervisor of the call centers and complain about all lies that I was told. I have been to this location at least five times. I go in every year to renegotiate my cable/internet service. Last October, I added Xfinity home security to my services (paying just a little bit more than I was paying for cable/internet). At the time, I asked about Xfinity mobile, which was brand new. At the time, they did not have a BYOD (bring ur own device) option. After having Verizon for almost a year, I checked back on Xfinity mobile. We went on Saturday, August 17th to make the change over. Rates are about half of what I was paying with Verizon. It included two lines with unlimited data. I was very pleased by the short wait time and the ease of setting up the plan. I will continue to be a customer of Xfinity because I like the quality of their services. I rarely experience any outages and love the ease of the home security. When I go back in October to renegotiate for my services, I am going to ask them for the Ring doorbell and maybe video camera set ups to be added to my Xfinity Home Services. When they can no longer add discounts to your account, they are good about sweetening up the deal by adding services or products. But back to my review about the store. I'm always pleasantly greeted, I may wait a bit but their waiting area is well maintained and comfortable. When it's my turn to meet with the reps, I take my time, ask all the questions I need answered and never feel rushed. I always leave feeling very glad that I use their services. Finally disconnected from Xfinity. Bill has increased every few months for last 2 years. My fault for not going in sooner. Bill went from $139 to $292!!! With no changes. Looked online and same package is $79. Go there and as usual that price is only for new customers. Even after explaining I am a 25 year customer that always pays my bill the best they could do was $149... what a joke!!! Top it off constantly having equipment issues, they say Oh just bring it in we will give you another. Geez my gas, my time for a service I'm paying them for?!?! I've been in 3 different types of businesses in my 40 year career all serving customers. And all 3 I treated existing customers and new customers equally to the best of my ability and same pricing. On top of Xfinitys price gouging when I walked in my name was taken and I was told to take a seat someone would be with me shortly. I sat looked at the counter with 3 registers and 4 employees standing there 3 are having conversation and laughing. While 1 playing on his phone. After 15 minutes my name was finally called at which time I tried to negotiate the online price of $79. After denied I asked to speak to the manger. So I come in the store allot of people and allot of employees helping. Reception was very nice and professional. Get to watch a big screen tv whoo hoo. But I'd rather be watching mine at home. Came here on my lunch break to return a modem I was being overcharged to rent because Xfinity increased the lease charge without notice. Thinking this would be a fairly easy transaction I was placed in que to get a receipt. They had 3 employees helping customers and one checking people in when I walked in. One employee walked to the back with a rack full of modems after finishing with her customer and never came back. The other 2 remained with the same customers they were with when I walked in for my entire lunch break and I still had one person ahead of me when I left without the receipt it took over 45 minutes to never get. So I walked back to the front and asked the unprofessional receptionist why my name wasn't being called and why my name isn't place on the screen to show my placement in line. She did not give any reasoning, and just walked off to a representative, which immediately called me. I then asked the very intelligent receptionist did she forget to place my name on the waiting list. In return, there was no reply, as the manager watched. I'm not going to disrespect my race, which I am biracial which is safe for me to explain , this is the main reason why I've decided to carefully hire certain cultures. People are so sensitive for assuming why they're not g hired, but if hired, they're so incompetent and rude. I will never go to this location again. Well four months later, over 20 phone calls, more than 5 visits to the XFINITY Store and I am no further along in the process than I was four month ago.
