The staff here is always nice and professional. Today Jeanne helped my dad fix a feature on his phone that has been giving him problems for a long time. I like that she asked for our names (and actually remembered them), making it a more personal experience. Another thing was that she asked questions and listened to my dads concerns, instead of telling him to just call tech support. It took her less than 20 minutes to figure out and fix the problem. If you are going to go to a Verizon store, I do not recommend this one because their salesman engage in unfair and deceptive trade practices and their customer service quickly falls short of commonplace standards. "It is like it's free," their salesman Rob said referring to the Tablet A he was "throwing in." The Tablet A Rob threw in turned out not to be free, they charged me a steep activation fee, and monthly fees equivalent to having another mobile phone. For a Tablet I do not even use. I should have been more keen when I told Rob that the expense of the Tablet A and the new phone were above my budget and Rob took it upon himself to pay the $15 difference. I now wonder what cut of the scam Rob took later; maybe that should have been the moment that I wisened up. I went to go return the Tablet today because the person at Verizon corporate said I had until two weeks from the writing of this review to return the Tablet. When I got to the store on Kapahulu, Adrian did not help me. He told me that Verizon had misinformed me and I could not return the Tablet. He pulled out the paper contract I signed. Wait a minute, I said, that contract was for the smartphone I got, no? Why would I believe the contract was for the Tablet when Rob told me the Tablet was free? Adrian then referred to how I rated Rob a 10 for customer services. Let me be clear here, that rating is really a reflection not of Rob's customer services skills but of his ability to deceive and defraud you into signing contracts and buying equipment you do not realize you are buying. If anyone want photographs of these lying salesmen, feel free to contact me. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau and preparing a Honolulu District Court lawsuit against Rob and Adrian, individually, and Verizon Victra as co-defendants. These salesmen are not from Hawaii and they will take advantage of locals and their trusting ways. read more

I'll start off by saying that the staff at this store were all friendly and pleasant. To reiterate, this is a Verizon franchisee/reseller, not a company store. I went in to switch my service on two lines from AT&T to Verizon. Before I went in I had confirmed with Apple that my phones were unlocked (purchased directly from Apple, not AT&T) and that there should be no problem switching over. After the initial attempt to port the numbers over was unsuccessful, we went through the AT&T unlock process. After waiting about 30 minutes the associate still could not port the phones over and called Verizon support. The support representative and the associate went through additional steps and still weren't able to port the phones over. Eventually, the associate gave me two Verizon SIM cards and said that he had submitted the porting requests and that the issue would be resolved within 24-48 hours. He said as soon as he heard from Verizon support he would call me and I could just swap out the SIM cards and port over immediately. This was Sunday. On Tuesday I still hadn't heard from the Victra associate so I checked online and called Verizon support for the status of my porting requests. I was unable to find any porting requests under my numbers so I called Verizon support and the representative confirmed that no porting requests had been submitted for either line. The representative suggested that I go directly to the company store as they were better able to handle porting issues and that they would be better able to resolve any issues that came up. After I got off the phone with Verizon support I went to the Verizon company store at Kahala Mall. The Verizon associate checked the system and confirmed that there were no porting requests submitted for my numbers. Then he started from scratch and was able to port both phones over in 20 minutes. He also gave me a promotional flyer for $150 credit from Verizon for each phone that I ported over (the Victra associate never provided me with this flyer or mentioned the promotion, so I would have missed out on $300). Lesson learned, I tried to avoid the crowd by going to Victra and ended up wasting time and almost missing out on $300. In the future I will always go to the company stores, not authorized resellers. read more

Be aware - this location is a RESELLER not a Verizon Corporate store! I bought a S9+ and the sales person said as soon as the Note 9 was available we could do a BOGO and switch for Note 9's - or at the very least, use the BOGO to get one Note 9 for my husband. The sales person texted ME when the BOGO came available and asked if I wanted her to reserve/order it for me. I asked if I needed to come by the store to do it and she said no, I can do it FOR YOU if you give me your PIN. After a couple weeks I went by the store to see if they had arrived- I found out she FORGOT to place the order. She said she would get with her manager and get the deal thru- it never happened. Excuse was either manager in meetings all day, got busy and didn't contact manager, etc... until the last text - she left the company! I called Verizon directly to see what could be done because my husband's old phone died. This is when I found out there were no notes in my account about the BOGO - that's when I found out this location was a reseller so VZ couldn't honor anything promised- even though I have EVERY TEXT MESSAGE! VZ corporate placed a BOGO order and I picked up 2 NOTE 9's at Kahala Mall the same day. Thanks to Victra I'm paying for 2 phones. VERY disappointed to be contacted by the sales person then #1- She "forgot" to enter the order, #2-the deal I waited on wasn't available, and #3- I'm paying MORE because the sales person messed up. The sting would have been less if they just forgot to contact me on the deal- instead of texting me and then not following thru. I could have come by and placed the order - but SHE SAID SHE WOULD DO IT! (Anyone want to buy a slightly used S9+ ?) read more

Worst customer service experience ever! Went in with the intention of getting a new phone to replace one with a cracked screen. The woman came to the front and asked if we checked in and all 3 of us were bewildered, she continues asking the same question over and over... no one knows what she's talking about, there is no sign in sheet or anything of the nature just COVID warnings which we were in compliance with. I finally notice a crumpled up piece of paper taped to the far corner of the table with a printed QR code to check in, then answer her "no" we didn't check in. She replies "ok I can assist you if you're having check in issues," as if it's our fault we didn't see a crumpled up piece of paper. After she checks us in she just walks away and returns to her desk. So we walk around and browse the store for cases, accessories, etc while we are waiting. We're roaming for about 10 min and she approaches us to say that we need to wait outside due to COVID requirements. I totally understand that part but why she did not tell us this at the beginning and allowed us to roam is beyond my comprehension, I mean what if we actually were contagious. So while we have her attention my GF asks if they have any galaxy s10's in stock because we just waited an hour at another location just to be told they don't have any. She says she doesn't know and that she busy so we're just going to have to wait. How can you not know if you have an item that you are advertising? At this point we're fed up and just leave. So all in all due to her piss poor attitude she literally turned away a guaranteed sale. read more

Worst customer service. The store manager even helped me upgrade my phone and told me it was a free upgrade and then two months later I find out I have to pay for the update?! I went back to the store and he said I shouldn't be paying for it and said he'd call me in a few days to say it was fixed and I waited even over a week for him to call me back so I called the customer service number and found out he didn't even call to resolve the issues I was having and still had to pay for the updated. They are ridiculously rude and lied every time I went in to fix my phone. I swore I left t mobile so I wouldn't have to deal with this mentality is stupidity anymore but I guess I was wrong about Verizon! read more

I went to the kapahulu store to pay a bill. With the Covid19 restrictions I was prepared to deal with delays and possible complications. However, the person helping me (Chris) was rude and unprofessional. He wouldn't allow me to pay my bill unless I used cash. I told him I didn't have cash and he told me to go online to pay my bill. I advised him that I needed a receipt and the online service does no provide that. He then told me to print it from my email. I tried that and it DID NOT give me an email receipt. In the 2o+ years that I have been a customer with Verizon/Voicestream I have never been treated with such disrespect. I asked him where there might be another store that is able to accept a credit card, his answer was "I don't know" and a "Geeze!" as I walked out the door. I will never go into the Kapahulu store again! I spend thousands a year with Verizon Wireless and if this is the type of service I can expect to receive from their customer service personnel, I might as well go to AT&T! read more

Walked in about 15 minutes to closing had a few questions about my new Iphone (XR) never had a Iphone before also switched from T-Mobile to Verizon. The store manager Adrian and assistant store manager Robert went out of their way to help me transfer stuff from my old phone (Samsung). It wasn't as easy as the person that I bought the phone from said it would be (Costco). I felt bad that I didn't buy it from their store but they made me feel very comfortable and told me to come by anytime with any more questions about my phone.
