Cool card/comic shop! Neat, nicely lit, nice selection of items. I went with some friends who are pretty immersed in the current card culture. I'm not super "in the know" right now in the scene, but I can say there was a nice selection of sports and non-sports cards. I did leave with a cool Pyslocke comic, though! And customer service was great. I'd recommend paying a visit!

Clean and bright. The shop is jumping with activity as one game ends and the Pokemon TCG gets ready to start on a warm Sunday afternoon. Nice cool area for me to hang out as my grandson plays his game. Lots of familiar faces so my grandson feels right at home. $10 for 3 hours of fun in an air conditioned play space is fine with me. Support local!

This store is good for tournaments and whatnot, but not so great as far as prices when compared to online. If you are doing a tournament, I'm sure it is comfortable, but there is a lack of seating for those who are either waiting or shopping and need a moment to sit. They have a decent selection of cards and a variety of games, but the organisation could be better. The workers are all regular, but not exactly friendly or outgoing. This is also understandable considering the type of business. One thing that was annoying was that they need to restock their shelves and keep them orderly. There was also an unpleasant smell, but that was probably from all the people playing in their tournament. I also noticed the interior is unfinished. All of these are okay though, but do leave an impression. Overall it is okay. Not as comfortable as purchasing online, but if you are looking for a community, this seems good.

Came in looking for a gift... I am clueless but was looking regardless finding this place I'm so thankful as it's located on Ward in one of the older buildings with Supercuts on the ground floor and with a few free parking stalls finding them on the second floor it's super easy and convenient to find. I'm sure they immediately notice I'm one of those that are lost lol but nevertheless was there if I had any questions but didn't bother or hover which I did appreciate as I lurked and searched for the items that I'm not sure what to get at all. Decided to get some accessories like sleeves and other items along with a few Pokemon cards just something simple to add to my gift set, they do have an incredible selection of card and more this is a great shop as they were just nice and friendly when I was ready got me checked out and on my way. Thank you!

Reviewing for the hubs. Always checking out card shops when we visit a new place. This shop was particularly hard to find. There are no signs from the building outside. Entrance is inside a little courtyard, on the second floor. Felt safe. Cameras all over the place. You even have to buzz the doorbell so they can let you in. Great selection of sports cards, especially Pokemon. Lots of singles in boxes, although not sorted, you just have to look. Tons of wax. Pricing is comparable else where. Cool and friendly staff. Always great to support these shops.

The best place for any cards on the island if you can't find them at retail stores. I go here almost every two weeks.

Everything is fairly priced as close to msrp as possible and almost never marked up unnecessarily high. This shop is basically the "third space/third place" I commit the most time at just hanging out and playing or just socializing with other hobbyists. There's always space to play between tables in the store or out in the dole lobby and the staff is always friendly an accommodating.

From what I know, the original owner sold the company a few years ago and the lack of care shows. Upon first stepping into the store, you're hit with a wave of noxious body odor that's pretty darn pungent if I do say so myself...and no, this was not a one time thing. The last time I came was a Sat and the store had a decent amount of bodies in it. The first time tho was a few weeks ago when I went in on a random Wed or Thursday. Smell was still there. Employees ignore you, if there are any actually working. The aforementioned trip on a random weekday I was met with an employee sitting at one of the tables playing on a handheld gaming device. He completely ignored me for the 10-15 minutes I browsed and only paid me any attention (clearly annoyed) when I asked for a specific product. And this last recent time on a weekend? I don't think there were any workers. Just people playing games at the tables. I walked around, looked at some stuff but was forced to leave when my son sId he couldn't take the smell anymore. No one greeted us or asked if we needed any help. And that's the kicker. Armchair never used to raise prices and sold EVERYTHING at MSRP. They prided themselves on that and never raised prices even when inventory was low and items were a bit commodity to have. That is, sadly, no longer the case. Nearly everything I looked at in the store had been marked up 10-15%, if not more. Truly sad to see this business flush itself down the toilet like this.

As of this writing, the show is in its third year and has gotten bigger and better each time. Keep an eye on their website or Yelp events page for the dates and times. The show is held in Ala Moana Hotel's ballrooms on the second floor. Each year it has taken larger floor space and added dealers. Around 40 dealers/table participate bringing all manner of toys and collectables for kids of all ages. Admission is $3 per person, kids are free. Cosplayers also receive free entry! Tickets are sold at the door, cash only. It's laid out like an trade show with dealer booths and tables along the walls and center of the main room. Who participates changes from year to year, but it's typically the same local people; both from stores and hobbyists. The hotel provides water stations around the show, which is appreciated. The selection is not limited to: LEGO, action figures, video games, anime, DVDs, plush toys, Japanese imports, Funko Pop! figures, high-end statues, and comics. Basically, if it was or is popular, you'll find it! Most dealers handle exclusively in cash, but more are taking credit these days. To be safe, bring small bills for good deals. I'm a big fan of the "junk" bins on the floor; there are tons of deals to be had as sometimes people are just looking to get rid of merchandise. Thank you to the organizers for making this a fun must-attend event!
