It broke after only three or four days due to poor assembly. When she politely returned to ask about a replacement, the owner, Lucas, spoke to her with extreme verbal abuse, profanity, and personal insults until she left in tears. When I addressed the situation calmly, he stated that he did not care that he had made a child cry and continued speaking aggressively. This is not about a refund policy. A business can choose its policy. This is about basic conduct toward a minor and a customer. We have supported this store many times, but after this experience, we will not return. Families in Mililani should know how customers, including little children, may be treated here. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable bringing my child back into this store.

The place is small but packed with lots of interesting merch. I have zero knowledge about comics, games, anime, toys, cards, etc. but my kids' eyes lit up when they entered and my youngest couldn't leave without buying an anime plush. Being it's his first hobby grade RC I wasn't ready to go all in on an expensive one. The man that answered was very helpful and immediately knew what route I was leaning toward. He had a beginner friendly option that just so happened to be on sale and available for a super good price. I couldn't pass it up. The buggy came RTR with 2 batteries and a charger with a decent tool kit. PERFECT! We came in and just the sight and smells of the good old hobby shop brought me right back to the days when I got my first one. My son's face made it all worth it. Such a helpful staff that made sure we knew how everything operated and gave us a few suggestions for future trucks I was already drooling over lol. All in all, this is a great local hobby shop that has options for people of all experience ranges. I am bit out of touch with card collecting as it's been several decades since I kept up. The market has changed where they are now a commodity. Those in-the-know will attest to that. Caught up with the momentum of history possibly being made the following week, I bought a Patrick Mahomes card. Thank you to Dave and Jeff who manned the store and answered questions as they came up. They told me that the owner, Calvin, has been in the business for quite a while and I might have likely shopped at his store in the '90's when the hobby was still of interest to me.
