For the footprint it's stacked to the gills with tons of cool stuff whether your a comic lover or…read morejust a collector! Don't let the coffin corner walking fool you if you look and dig hard enough you'll find something to love. As I went for funkos I was suprised to see grails I had ever. Looking for years for at below 85% and change of scalpers out there and this led me to digging further and finding a couple more! The staff are super friendly and I appreciated the discount for Venmo payments as well. The comic selection is also as expansive if not more and I'm sure the same goes there just don't expect a lot of retro since they did mention to me stuff like dark horse Star Wars comics are too hard to find and keep in so I assume other retro ones are the same way. I'd easily return again thanks guys for everything!

Thankfully 808 Collectibles had just what I needed, so I made it into a Sunday afternoon adventure to come in. This is a small shop located in a mall building along Kamehameha in Pearl City. It's across from Pearl Highlands Center, but it's easy to get to from either side of the road. They have limited parking in front shared with a small shop, bar, and a few other businesses. This shop is on the second floor, toward the left. The owner Art (Arthur) was super friendly on the phone and got back to me quickly about what I needed. On arrival he was recommending different comic stories to a customer. There was a steady stream of people coming in, so I assume he has some regular customers. Every inch is filled with comics (new and older ones), Funko Pops!, and various collectibles and statues. Prices are clearly marked; he takes cash, Venmo, and credit. If you're a fan of pop culture and other fun things, this is a worthwhile place to stop. I hope to come in again soon.

5 Stars Mini Q at Pearlridge - Outstanding Customer Service!…read more It was a pleasure shopping at the Mini Q at Pearlridge. Employee "Kaitlynn" did a wonderful job with customer service. She helped my 11-year-old son with the Warhammer tiny models, taking the time to explain everything needed to get started in painting. Her thorough and detailed explanations really made a difference. "Kaitlynn" was incredibly authentic and genuine - it's rare to find such dedication and care in customer service these days. I really appreciate her outstanding work and wanted to applaud her for it. If you ever visit this store, be sure to ask for "Kaitlynn" - a sweet, hardworking young woman with exceptional customer service skills. Aloha!

Located in Pearlridge Mauka, near Macys, this store is open 10 AM to 8 PM daily except on Sundays when they close at 6. They are an anime store, with a lot of inventory of toys, action figures, and other type of collectibles. They are on the more expensive side, but tbh honest what isn't? You may find a better deal at maybe animation magic upstairs but I feel like Mini Q has a better selection and is geared more towards anime. The workers there are also very nice and helpful. Just as a tip, I just call them to ask if they have what I want in their store or something equivalent. They offer good recommendations when possible and even suggested I check out Razor when they didn't have the item I wanted in stock.

Shopping in Pearlridge Center, Aiea, O'ahu…read more.. I've been to the Ala Moana Center location, but not recently. I knew that they carried cute plushies, but I wasn't sure about the new trend... Labubus! Yes, Animation Magic has some. They also have the replicas called Lafufus. Each type is labeled. The authentic Labubus are priced higher than the Lafufus. You can tell the difference... mostly in the eyes... Service was helpful - even in this spacious store. There is such a variety of merchandise... I especially liked the Stitch, Miffy, and Hello Kitty items! It's quite overwhelming!

My boyfriend and I went inside looking for the viral crunchy peanut squish, and they had it! The worker helping us was super friendly and let us touch and feel just about all of the different types of crunchy squishies they had, which was a huge plus! We've never encountered a store that actually lets you sample so many of them. We decided on the peanut (of course), and the worker helping us placed our new, bagged squish on the counter. I grabbed it out of excitement and asked if they had any coconut oil squishies. She said yes, pointed to the case behind us, and said she would meet us over there. We started walking toward the case with the peanut in my hands while the worker walked around the counter to meet us. Then, the owner/manager, I presume, asked us if we had paid for the peanut. We said no, and she immediately yelled at the VERY NICE worker, gave her the nastiest look, and mumbled something under her breath before snatching the peanut out of my hands. We were then greeted by the nice worker at the case, and she apologized for the other woman's behavior. We continued looking through the squishies and picked out the ones we wanted, and the same worker kindly helped us check out. My boyfriend and I actually apologized to her for inconveniencing her because we felt terrible seeing management treat her that way. She had been nothing but kind, friendly, and helpful to us throughout the entire experience, so seeing her get treated like that was extremely uncomfortable. That's why I'm giving this store 1 star. The only positive part of our experience was the very nice worker who helped us. I still have a lot of empathy for her because I can't imagine working somewhere where management treats employees that way. Maybe it was just that particular older woman, but regardless, the way she treated her employee in front of customers was completely unnecessary and left a really bad impression.
