These associates need help and proper training. Too slow, better atitudes, etc. Customers are always complaining

I do not usually write reviews on Yelp unless I have been treated really well or really poorly. in this case its kind of both. Replaced my old Iphone for newer version. Sales guy was great even helped to save money on my phone by doing a 2 for 0ne special. this is where it all went south. I fell for this in the past and had a tablet I never used and a second phone line. I should of new something wasn't right when another customer came in complaining that his sales rep lied to him on a incentive he never received. i told thy guy helping me I did not mind paying full price for the phone but I did not want a second. he outright lied to me told me there would not be another line and my bill would not change. I received my bill and it was almost double with a second phone line. the service at the store went smoothly and we joked chatted the entire time I was there while he was upping his sales quota and throwing me off with smoke and bubbles. He told me at least 4 times I would not need an addition phone line a blatant lie. I took the device out of the box looking to see if I could use the charging cable for my phone due to IPhone's new charger does not include a usb adapter or a wall adapter to charge the phone. I discarded the box and they say the store's policy regardless of Verizon is they will not take it back or refund my money. I started of polite stating I had 3 issues and left with a finger and stating I knew this was going to be your response after the lies how could I expect more. read more

This is not a Verizon store. It is a wireless store that is distributing Verizon product. I am a Verizon customer and stopped here for help with my equipment and was lied to and given a nasty attitude when I asked questions about the store. I couldn't make a payment and didn't receive the service I needed. I ended up getting in my car and driving to the Lone Hill store ( where I was greeted with a smile and served with 100% satisfaction). I thought by now this store would be out of business! Worst service ever! These people are scams. If you think this is a Verizon store, your wrong. They give Verizon a bad rap. If you want to return the phone you just bought, you need to call Verizon customer service. They had to call GoWireless in Glendora to tell them they had to return the money. They lie and tell you their policy is no returns if you paid in cash or credit card, WHAT!!!! However, they told Verizon customer service they never said that. The only way we got our money back is because of Verizon customer service. They also charge you for things you never received or asked for. My suggestion to you is to go anywhere but these guys. Like many others have said, try to avoid this store and take the extra couple minutes to drive to an actual Verizon store. They upgraded my insurance coverage to the premium and said they add that to al new phones automatically. They added voicemail to text as well. I asked for it to be removed and they said the transaction is already done and can't be changed until after I pay for everything I came in for. Daniel was my sales rep and both him and his manager were aggressive and rude. When I'd have a question they would just tell me to take their word for it. I came in for a promotion and didn't like their attitude but they said it was an in store promotion only. That was a lie I confirmed with Verizon online customer service. Save your self time, money, and a headache by calling the Verizon.com customer service first. If you need a store, please skip this one and go to the nearest Verizon and not this retailer. If you have to wait inside the store, be prepared to hear them brag about how much their previous customer just spent. They'd go back and forth to each other's computers to share how much they just sold. At one point I was told to come up to their desk to review papers they printed out and when I got up to grab the papers the manager got mad and told me to back up 6ft behind the line. I was told to give the papers back and when I got back up to the desk I again got asked to stand behind their 6 ft marker line. I understand following COVID protocols but one guys is telling me to come closer and then another guy then gets mad and says to back up. I had to work out a few corrections online to my plan after what these guys changed to it. Long story short, it's highly recommended to skip this Verizon RETAILER. read more

We came in to upgrade phones on two of our Verizon lines. The personnel working were friendly and we were excited they even had the new iPhones we wanted in stock. They immediately started the process of activating the phones and when I asked if I had to back up my phone to iCloud they said oh no we can do a phone to phone data transfer. Great! All this time there was no discussion of fees. At the very end of the process they presented me with a bill that included a $25 transfer fee per phone and informed me after the phones were already converted that they had to sell the phones with monthly device protection and I could call Verizon and cancel after two weeks. I was told this was a Go Wireless policy. In addition to that my bill came and they had added on another monthly "talk to text" feature which I was never asked about and never wanted. I called Verizon and was told both would be taken off. Buyer beware at this place. They do not discuss fees up front and load your bill with extras. Ask questions before you sign! read more

I needed to come into a Verizon store because my iPhone 8 Plus started to have some bugs earlier this week. I ended up coming in to this location cause I was in the area. The store is really nice and clean and it looked fully stocked of accessories! The Sales Representative, KB, helped me out. He was very nice and professional. He tried to troubleshoot my issues first but said my phone was having some bugs that he had seen earlier in the week with other customers. He called apple and they didn't really have an answer for us. He recommended I trade in my phone and get a new one. I was very hesitant as my phone is only a year old. He told me it would be the same monthly and there was a promotion where I wouldn't have to pay much today. I ended up doing it which was the BEST decision I ever made. I love my XS Max! It's a great product and KB was fantastic! He threw in some goodies for free as well and I ended up leaving just paying the taxes on the phone which was around $120! He also was able to waive my activation fee which was awesome!! Thanks KB and the rest of the Verizon staff present! You guys were awesome! read more

This store has the worst customer service ever. I went to get a charger for my iPhone, I waited for about 10 minutes. Yes 10 minutes in the store just waiting for a hello, or can I help you with anything. I asked the guy if he had a charger for my iPhone 5s. "He said no sir come back tomorrow; we are getting a big shipment in this afternoon. I will put one on hold under your name". So I thought to my self ok I can wait one more day. Next day I returned and talked to someone at the front desk asked about my charger. The guy looks at me with a lost look on his face. This is not a real Verizon store. Don't step foot in this place. I paid for my phone with a check, the clerk fat fingered the routing number which resulted in my service being shut off. $30 to turn it back on with the line, "oh, we'll credit your account within 30 days". It's been a year and I've given up to save my sanity. No credit was ever given. I dealt with lies, "it will show up on next month's statement", and rudeness on the phone as well as snide remarks in the store. I can't believe people still go to this place. What A perfect place to get Scammed by the manager Mike and the salesman Jeff Who became a manager now. I went in a few days after black Friday I asked what kind of deals do you have and they said if you import all your numbers from a different Carrier you get $400 for each line and I was very clear that I don't have to buy a device and Jeff said yes you don't have to I even brought my wife and set up her account she didn't believe that we were going to get 400 for each Line. I Activated 4 lines After I have been with them for 3 months I only Got one gift card For one line never got the rest I went to speak with Jeff in person in the beginning He didn't admit that he promised to give me the 400 after we were talking for an hour he said yes I did tell you that you get 400 but the company did not honor It what kind of a companyThis is supposed to be the biggest companyThey don't respect their customers and don't stand behind their word. under the management of chris hottman ...or should i say mismanagement at the s. grand glendora store...it's all about the sale at this place no matter how misleading his salesman/manni pavon ended up being to both my wife and i...first off...this is a "third party" location according to a verizon service rep. that explained that he couldn't remove the $60.00 "upgrade fee" that was charged to our account...both chris & manni claimed we could have it removed by verizon because according to store policy neither chris nor manni could do it...lie #1...next manni said that we would receive a "visa card" for $400.00 for the trade-in value of our two (2ea) iphones that we could use anywhere, however that turned out to be store credit...lie #2... at this time i am waiting on a $150.00 rebate for the purchase of my galaxy s5 that should arrive within 30-days...supposedly it's another "visa card"...if it turns out to be another "store credit"... i plan to storm into this store for the last time and raise hell...and report them to the better business bureau... stay clear of this store unless you want to end up as we did... read more

Really hope a could give zero star ! There's a reason if this store has 1 half star. Used to go there only just because is the nearest one to do my monthly payment. I really don't know if they know about their job, service was bad and slow. This time they don't let me do my payment by my card (and usually I use my card to pay) if you don't want do your job just stay at home, and no telling me that I can't use my card, when the other stores always let me use it. If you are just a cash only store just type on your window that is cash only, and I don't believe you since there is a pos machine just under my eyes and you don't want used it. Just ridiculous. We had a tenant move out of a rental who had Verizon Fios. They had called numerous times to have Verizon send a box for the equipment and Verizon never did. They moved and left the equipment. I called also and received no help or a box. I called again and the Verizon representative told us to take the equipment to the Verizon store. So following her direction we went to the store on Grand in Glendora. I walked in while my associates waited in the car. I gave the equipment to the manager Roy and asked for him to return the equipment that Verizon had instructed us to return it to the store. I though that the problem was over. Months later I was contacted by the former renter. They told us that they had been sent bills of $ 600.00 saying that they had not returned the equipment. I called Roy the manager at the Glendora store to ask when he sent the equipment back. I was told by him that he had not returned it that it was not his job. I asked what he did with it and he would not tell me. If the manager does not have the integrity to follow through there's not much hope for the rest of the employees. Rogan Mishrah and Gabriel in sales have HORRIBLE customer service skills. Gabriel failed to tell us about an expired Samsung promotion and will not take responsibility his unprofessional performance. Rogan has told my wife multiple times that he would return her call because his Samsung rep is on vacation. Samsung rep has been on vacation for 5 weeks because we still haven't received a updated phone call. Very unprofessional store and would recommend not to use this location. read more

I would like to share the great experience I had at this store, 650 S Grand Ave. I previously had visited the Verizon store, (twice) next to CVS off Alosta and Citrus. I am older, no, let's get it out there, I am an old Senior Citizen and had questions regarding my Samsung Galaxy phone. I was quite surprised about the attitude and disrespectful manner in which the employee treated me. He didn't try to help me and made me feel like a stupid old women that doesn't deserve having this phone or any of his time. Along comes the big store on Grand Ave., Glendora. I wasn't aware it was there and thought what the heck, no way can someone there treat me any worse! When I walked in I was greeted by 2 young men. I explained that I needed assistance with my phone and my tablet. Without hesitation K.B. Kelsey stepped right up. I had a list of (probably) stupid questions but none the less, things that I needed help with. He took his time answering and explaining everything in great detail and made certain I understood. He did ALL of this without even rolling his eyes! He was extremely patient, offered suggestions about the plan I am on and extra information that he thought would help me. My goodness, can you believe he did all of this without making me feel like a dummy in a professional and polite way? I know I was born in the wrong era but K.B's knowledge and compassion for someone his Great grandmother's age was without a doubt a rewarding and appreciative experience. Unbeknownst to me, the other employee that greeted me was K.B's Supervisor, Rohan Misra the store manager. He was working on something nearby but aware of K.B. and my conversation. I told Rohan how pleased and thankful I was to get the courteous help. I sensed Rohan was proud of K.B's performance and thanked me for coming in. Verizon, you are very lucky to have such a knowledgeable employee as K.B and an attentive Manager as Rohan. Hang on to them! Everyone should use this store. read more

I really don't understand why KB thinks that helping a customer means manipulating them for an unnecessary upgrade. Our daughters phone quit working and tech support phone service sent us to the store to get it replaced since the phone was still under warranty. It is clear that Verizon stores are more about up selling and not listening to what their customers really need. When I asked him to stop up selling me he just kept trying manipulating the situation to upgrade the phone and extend a service contract. Son...knock the shit off.
