This location was absolutely amazing to me. My phone started making a terrible high pitched screaming sound every time the ringer went of when receiving a phone call, so I took another phone I had in to make a quick switch. We ran into a road block in doing this when we discovered that I did not have authorization to access my parents account. They could have just turned me away, but they did not. They went completely above and beyond to help me resolve my situation and were very pleasant and understanding the entire time. Not to mention that I was very impressed that I was immediately greeted upon arrival and dealt with very respectfully by both staff and manager. I would highly recommend this location to anyone and everyone. I was very pleased with the amount of patience I was met with during my entire visit. I came into this location recently. Let me start by saying I normally dread going into a phone store due to its length of time it usually takes to get what you need taken care of and the constant upsell. However this trip was dramatically different. Hector went above and to make sure this experience was a memorable one. What I liked more than anything I had dealt with in the past was his caring/ and precise mannerisms in handling my needs. This trip wasn't an all day thing as I feel it is sometimes in fact hector got me in and out and my new phone in fractions of my usual trip. I commend Hector for dealing with me in a friendly manner rather just every other sales person which brings personality to the business. I hope this review is for the Chico Mall store. I would have rated this a 0 out of 10 before yesterday. Was so unhappy with Verizon, the store and even phone calls. I was ready to throw in the towel and find a new provider. But yesterday I got the good luck of having a lady named Liz help me. Finally after about 6 months of trying I got answers! She was more than helpful. She was understandable and took her time with me. I left the store with the phone I wanted and all my questions answered! Today I went to Verizon on the mall and they treated me like I was in the dmv. I left because I was tired of waiting so I went to the Verizon on east ave and it was like night and day. The rep I had was thomas and he spent hours with me showing me how to use my new phone and tablet! I now know how to watch comcast TV on my phone and tablet which is awesome! He took the time to download every app I could possibly need and show me how use them! I would highly recommend going to the east ave location instead the mall. They will treat you like royalty and make sure your taken care of. read more

This store is awesome!! I really don't understand the negative reviews on this place. I went there to get my new iPhone 6s set up and they made the process super fast and easy. At the same time, my boyfriend also got a new iPhone through Sprint and had such a horrible experience with multiple Sprint stores in Chico/Yuba City and Sprint corporate, so we went to this store to switch his service over to Verizon. The employees here are so nice and knowledgeable and made the experience of getting a new phone fun and enjoyable! I will definitely be coming back to this Verizon store! read more

This verizon store is amazing. Their customer service is impeccable. I am on my dads plan and he lives in Texas so it's difficult to coordinate our upgrades and make changes to the account while I'm in Chico. Yet, somehow they did it with such ease! They were so kind and thoughtful and made me feel so taken care of. All three lines on the account were due for an upgrade and we were able to do all of it! I came into this store because it is convenient to where I live. I needed to replace two phones that were damaged and lost in the same day. When I came into the store I was helped by Lisa. What a wonderful person! She went way above and beyond trying to help me. We had to make many calls to the corporate office as their billing was incorrect. In the end I was able to replace the phones that had been damaged and lost. She is an asset to this company, as are all the other employees, and manager! and should be recognized. read more

The customer service here is excellent. Friendly, helpful, & honest people who are willing to help you out. There is no "sales person" feeling when walking into the store & employees are more than willing to help you find what you need & what works for you. I have been in multiple times and never had to wait in line. Plus, every time I went in the same person was available to assist me so I didn't have to keep re-explaining my situation. Not only did Andrew (our initial rep), listen to all our questions, he did everything with patience and a smile (he even came back after running an errand). Awesome customer service! I soaked my phone and it was done. I needed a phone ASAP and Jahai hooked me up. When I couldn't download my photo's, contacts, and notes Don DiMaggio took the time to transfer all that from an old phone and everything worked wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am not to familiar with the newer devices and I got a new phone and a tablet and the rep took the time to show me how to use both my new devices. I needed to upgrade my business iphone and wasn't thrilled with my current provider so I checked out Verizon. I went to the East ave location and was assisted by Jahai. The switch over was smooth and surprisingly fast. They backed up the phones and installed the flexible glass for me. And my overall bill went down! I was convinced to switch to Verizon by being given false information from one of the employees at this retail store. The whole reason I switched was to save money. Do to the false info, it ended up costing me $643.00 to switch. If I'm being optimistic, switching will save me $23 per month. So I guess I will save some money.......30 months from now. read more
