Took my truck in on march 28 2025 so they could fix the stereo. Picked it up the same day told me they found the issue and it was fixed only to find out it was not fixed called back the next day no one answered. Got a hold of them today march 31 2025 they told me I would have to repay full price for them to fix it . I don't recommend this place. Save your money and time and go eles where. All around sound isn't professional. I believe this could have been handled differently. read more

If i could give them no stars I would. I spent probably 3000 dollars maybe a little less maybe a little more to have all new door speakers with a subwoofer and box and amp installed. From the moment I after installation I was not able to turn the volume on my stereo up over 19. The amp would shut off and cut off all sound. On top of that the passenger door speakers will not turn on either now. I took it back to have them check it out and find out what was wrong and they told me the subwoofer was already blown and i would have to buy a new one but they would give me "a good deal" after the amount i put in you would think since the installation clearly was the problem that they would cover it. But now i have a dead subwoofer in my trunk and a passenger door that dosent play music at all. Honestly they fact that they think for one second that this was ok is just wrong I spent so much money because I just wanted a professional job because Normally I would just do it all myself but I figure they could make it easier for me and look nicer. Our son is going to school in Oroville and we live 450 miles in So CAL. He had some electrical issues with his 4 Runner and could not start his car. After doing some research online I decided to go with All Around Sound thinking the old alarm system was the problem. We towed the car to Chico and Steve was working on the 4 Runner 10 min after the tow truck delivered the vehicle. The group of guys that work there are highly skilled when it comes to sound audio equipment. I've read in some of the reviews that the prices are on the high side.They charge the same price for the audio equipment as the prices I found online so the exspens come down to the installation and the audio tuning but the added cost is well worth the professional installation! My wife & I just had an install done with the guys at All Around Sound, and we couldn't be happier! The stock sound system in our 2016 Subaru Outback was far worse than "poor sound". So we went in to see what they could do and very quickly, Jesse recommended an all in one amp & subwoofer. We went with that product, which was the Rockford Fosgate amplified 8" woofer enclosure. It fit PERFECTLY under the passenger seat, without any obstruction to any vehicle functions. Had a backup camera installed. They completed the installation, but were unable to get my monitor to work on it. I prepared a day to trouble shoot the problem myself having already spent FAR to much on the installation ($200 parts for the camera alone, almost 50 for the video cable, almost 500 total). Pulled the monitor from the dash, and plugged it in, turned it on. Works just fine now. For reference the cameras themselves do sell for about $60 on the internet. They did add a switch to the dash though. Very underwhelmed. read more

I had a great experience at All Around Sound. I've known about them for years, but never went because I feared they would be more expensive than some of my other options. previously had some work done by one of the "Best Big" box stores and was very disappointed in the quality of work that was done...so after doing some self-installation myself I finally went to see the guys at All Around Sound. They were very professional, and accommodating with my situation. They gave me lots of reasonable options and their price for a comparable product was actually better than the big-box stores. What really made me happy was the quality of the installation. I could tell that they didn't take any shortcuts and that my vehicle (A Land Rover) got the attention it needed. This is after some other shops giving me a sideways look about working on a Rover. Bottom-line: I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work. Their product line is great if you like Kenwood...I do wish they had a few more brands in-stock...but that's just me. Jessie is constantly doing little things to improve his shop land Hunter works diligently to keep up with the high demand of cars that needs audio work. Their prices are ideal (especially compared to everywhere else in town) and their quality of work is unmatched because they actually love what they're doing for you. Brought my car in during the current pandemic that's going on ( April 2020 Corona ) and they took my car in, even though I didn't have an appointment booked. He installed my subs a new head unit and fixed a couple other things my car was having electrical issues with that he didn't have to fix. Get it done right the first time! If you love your car, don't take it to Best Buy and let some kid work on it. You end up with new rattles in your car a week later, if not the same day. Go to a professional, like Jesse, at All Around Sound and nothing will rattle, even if it did before you brought it in. I can't recommend the sound proofing enough; it made my Subaru sound much more solid (most subies sound like a tin can)! You can hear the difference in the sound the car door makes when you shut it. I love the Kenwood Apple Car Play receiver and all it's features. If you're contemplating getting Apple Car Play; get it! I'm totally sold on the Hybrid Audio speakers. I love the way my car sounds; I could sit in it and listen to music all day! Only thing I would be careful of, if you have a small car like I do, is putting the Rockford Fosgate self-enclosed sub woofer under one of your front seats. It had to be installed sideways, limiting legroom in the rear and my $300 WeatherTech floor liners no longer fit on the right rear passenger side. My OCD aside, the car sounds amazing. I made an appointment to have various electrical items repaired on my truck (door lock activator and replace a side view mirrior), in addition to having a replacement remote paired with my alarm system. My truck was there for the better part of a day and when they called to say it was ready I was told that they had researched activators and found that an aftermarket or stock unit would have to be ordered. The existing system is a Viper and they're a Viper dealer so I was surprised to learn that they didn't have activators in stock. The side view mirror that I had brought in hadn't been replaced either - a job that could be completed in 15-20 minutes - so, all that had been accomplished after leaving my truck there all day was pairing the remote. Price for pairing the remote: $65.00. I asked how long it took to pair the remote. Answer: 10 minutes. I queried why so much? Answer: They have a flat rate of $75.00/hr and some remotes take 2 hours to pair(?!?). Well, this one took only 10 minutes! If they have a flat rate, I don't see why they didn't use 20 minutes of the remaining 50 minutes if their flat rate hour to replace the side view mirror (smells like greed to me). I don't think they even moved my truck from it's parking place and into the shop when they paired the remote. Take away: 1) shop around and price compare 2) if you're going to do business here - get a written estimate prior to allowing work to commence. You'll be glad you did 3) don't do business here. read more

I was referred to all around sound by a friend, who said they carried diamond audio, well they do carry that brand but the fact that the employee wanted to finish his lunch before he came out and helped me was preposterous, and I will never go back. Not only did he quench his hunger before coming out to see my current setup that I have issues with and wanted to upgrade, he did not listen to my wants at all, I told him I have a small wattage amp and only want a small sub (because I don't listen to rap or music with a lot of bass I did not want a big system) for some bass maybe an 8-10", and he kept trying to up-sell me on getting 2 12" subs and a bigger amp, saying that what I had would not work at all, he did this so many times that I was convinced he didn't want to listen to what I had to say at all, and just wanted to convince me to spend more money on stuff I did not want. needless to say he tried to up-sell me so much that I was throughly annoyed. read more

I came to this shop seeking help with a bad alarm installation. I explained my situation and they told me they could help and we scheduled a time to bring in my truck. After diagnosing the situation they presented me with several options. I decided to have the defective alarm removed. They did this for me at no cost. I was impressed and decided to buy a new alarm from them. Being sympathetic to my situation I was offered the minimum advertised pricing on the alarm and modules. I appreciated this very much and because of this I decided to buy speakers, an amplifier, and subwoofers from them. So we scheduled some time for them to install this for me. Now I really can't stress this enough, the installation you get from this shop is as good as it gets. The time, care, craftmanship, and quality are second to none. They custom made mounting adapters for the speakers. They used foam to channel the sound directly through the door channels. Sound deadening was installed. I can't say enough about the quality of sound that I'm getting, it really is amazing. The alarm works flawlessly and all of my complaints with my previous alarm installation were gone. There is no cheap wiring and the alarm is installed in the most secure possible way. They even went as far as to fix the installation of other electronics that were installed incorrectly in my truck. They did this for me at no cost. I felt like I was being treated fairly and the lines of communication were honest and open for the entirety of the project. If you want a top of the line product from an experienced qualified installer don't go anywhere else in town. Take my word on this. read more

had a 0 gauge power wire installed and a 0 gauge ground mounted in the trunk to install a second battery and they fried my amp. not a super expensive amp i paid like $160 for it but it worked fine when i left it with them. so they call me and tell me its done and when i get there it smelled like amp barbecue in my car. i figure probably just some residual smell from solder and such. i turn on the stereo and nothing. so i go talk to the guy behind the counter and he says it was working 10 minutes before i got there. he also says "they are not responsible for damaging my amp" and when i told them they should replace it he said "we don't do that here". what a bunch of crap. if i had something of his and i broke it you bet your last dollar he would want me to replace it, and you know what i would. it;s the right thing to do especially for a business transaction. i will never do business with them again!!!!! ever!!!!! all around sound.....shame on you. read more
