honestly wish I could give negative stars, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! I went to get a breathalyzer installed and just had my car smogged few weeks prior. I had an appointment at 9 am and it was only supposed to take two hrs max and he didn't even start on my car till around 1, so I went to pick it up around 3 pm. when I got there he was acting very aggressive and was saying ALL my lights were on and asked if they were on prior to me bringing it in and I said no so he insisted that they must have been and I kept telling him they weren't and I just got my car smogged and I pulled it in this morning it was running perfectly fine with no lights on. he then said he fired the ECM and so I told him he needed to fix it, he started yelling and cussing at me and saying he'll just rip out the breathalyzer and I can get my car and get the F*** off his property. that it's NOT HIS PROBLEM and threw my paperwork at my face. my car will not start at this point and all the lights are showing up so I have it towed to another mechanic and he finds where is issue, he cut multiple wires to the wiring harness....i just think this guy is not professional at all. and he's hostile. honestly think he was on drugs or just crazy. cuz I was just trying to talk to him and he knows he messed up and didn't wanna admit it and fix it. just started acting completely crazy. The guy who runs this place is a tool. And his shop is extremely dirty. Should probably have code enforcement stop in and look around. I wouldn't recommend this place. He made me feel like I was stupid for not knowing how to work on my car. He charged me $1020. Had my car for not even half a day and I'm not sure he did anything at all to my car. The same problem still exists. But, he wouldn't listen when I was telling him what I thought the problem was, because you know.... I'm a girl. And what do I know? Awful! I only used them because they were in network with my car warranty. They had the car for a week, and I called a couple times to check in and check status. They NEVER returned a phone call! I finally called again Friday and they said, "oh it's all fine come and get it and drive the wheels off it" so I came and got it. The AC still wasn't working... that was the whole reason I brought it in to begin with! So the following week I brought it to a different "out of network mechanic" which I had to pay for since they didn't work with the warranty. Totally worth it though because they did a thorough job and found several significant things I needed to have fixed and they fixed it right. Plus, to top it off, I called one final time to complain and Claire at the front desk said she would have the owner call me asap. I said, "I really would like a call back, because you guys never return phone calls" and she said he would call later that day or the following. I bet you all can guess what happened! I had a truly absurd and unsettling experience at 2Tech Automotive with the owner, Peter Yavrom. Initially, my interactions with Peter were friendly and professional. He installed a breathalyzer in my car and even offered a free first calibration because my friend washed the dishes in the coffee area. However, things took a bizarre turn when I encountered an error on my breathalyzer. On December 18, 2024, I visited 2Tech Automotive to seek guidance on the error. Peter's reaction was shockingly aggressive and unpredictable. Despite my polite request for assistance, he accused me of lying and fabricating stories. His behavior was so erratic that it felt like he had a personal vendetta against me. He even demanded that I apologize to his employee for something I never did and threatened to ban me from the shop if I didn't comply. In an effort to resolve the misunderstanding, I emailed Peter an explanation of events and reluctantly an apology.(Email posted below) I returned to 2Tech Automotive on December 19, 2024, with only 3 hours left on my breathalyzer until my car would be locked out. I hoped to make amends and shake hands, but this only made Peter more angry. He continued to call me a liar and insisted that I was causing problems for months every time I came in. This was obviously more psychotic fabrication. Peter's outburst was not only unprofessional but also deeply concerning. His aggressive demeanor and baseless accusations made me feel threatened and unsafe. It's alarming to think that someone in his position could behave so violently and unpredictably. Concerned about potential penalties and costs, I promptly visited your shop for guidance since I was in the area when I noticed it, and it's hard to get through to intoxilot sometimes. When I arrived, I explained my situation to you and mentioned that I had been disconnecting my car battery each night to prevent it from draining due to the breathalyzer's operation. During a previous visit on December 13th, I had discussed this concern with one of your employees. I specifically asked if the breathalyzer was known to drain car batteries in cold weather, and she confirmed that it could happen. I then stated my intention to disconnect the battery to prevent this issue. However, I did not realize that disconnecting the battery constituted a violation of the lease agreement. Unfortunately, our interaction escalated when I requested your support in explaining the situation to Intoxilot, should it have been necessary. It's been a week, I only requested a quote for repair and you still haven't provided it. If you guys were too busy or didn't want to do my repair, it would have been helpful for you to let me know a week ago so I didn't have to wait on you. You guys should know better that car repairs are time sensitive because obviously my check engine light has been on this whole time. We have been going to 2Tech for years and when it sold to the new owners everything has been awful. I do not recommend anyone waste their time or money here. A while ago we brought our truck in for brakes on the front and were quoted $500. At pick up we were told it would be $1200 because they did all the brakes. We were not happy about this but as they told us the work had been done so we paid for it. Then our most recent incident we took three truck in for warranty work and we were told they were trying to contact the warranty company and they kept getting hung up on, it was not easy to get a hold of them. When my husband went in to the location to ask, what was going on the lady at the front desk was super rude with him and told him it was his fault because he waited so long to bring his truck in. She was referring to the fact that we were at our end of our warranty. We then contacted the warranty company on our own, and they told us that no one had ever reached out from 2 Tech, and that our warranty did not expire until the middle of February, so they held us up until our warranty was expired, hoping that they could get full price for the repairs. this is a shady business with terrible customer service. We will never go there again, and will be letting everyone know about their awful service. read more

I called to ask about some parts I needed installed on my. Chrysler, "owner" Pete was very aggressive with his tone of voice right off the bat on the phone when I asked him about it. Than he asked where I got the parts and I told him "Rock Auto" and he told me aggressively that'd the best way to work on my car was "to throw the brand new ones away I got from rock auto and Buy new ones cause that's the only way to fix it." He thanked me started to get real mouthy when I laughed at that and told him to have a good day that I didn't understand his personal issue with the company but he was very rude and vulgar towards me not a guy I would recommend doing business with at all. Of course the starter failed, I called and even though they couldn't get to it right away they had us drop it off so if they had a chance they could get it done faster. I just had some simple questions with the owner about my Mini. He wasn't happy with information I was giving and he got very arrogant and snotty. He told me I was pissing him off because I needed to have a conversation like a human. I never raised my voice, I just shared that I didn't know why he was getting irritated because he didn't understand what I was saying. He then told me to call any other business and hung up on me. This was really poor service for just asking a few questions. I will clearly not take my car to this business. From the jump, it was apparent that we were dealing with a different, better class of human beings and it only got better as we went further along the repair process.
