8-30-24 I needed a battery replacement for my IPhone ll and David was on spot and replaced it in less then 45 minutes for only $80! My new cell phone battery is charging appropriately and holding a charge as it should now. David was very informative, pleasant, easy to talk with and I felt, trustworthy. David and Ben's prices for parts and labor are very reasonable and their store (David and Ben are co-owners of iRepair) easily beat the local competition. A friend of mine needs to replace her iPhone 14 Pro Max cracked screen and the quote I received from David was $180 which includes labor for an after market display screen that he said is slightly thicker then the original Apple iphone screen. David said it is very difficult to tell if there's a difference in color or resolution with the aftermarket screen. For an Apple iphone OLED display screen he quoted $225 which includes labor. This quote is much cheaper than the other quotes she had received at several other Chico iphone repair shops. The only thing is the screen will have to be ordered as they do not have it in stock. I checked out various local Chico Facebook groups and iRepair came up time and time again, recommended by customers having had various cell phone repairs completed. I am seriously considering bringing in my Apple computer for repair. I don't trust anyone else in Chico. My wife has a Geek Squad Protection plan with Best Buy, but I'm just not comfortable with leaving my computer along with its valuable information with the Geek Squad. DO NOT SHOP HERE! the other reviews are right, these guys use cheap screens that do not work with iphones. I went in for a battery replacement, they broke my front screen doing-so and replaced it with a cheap one. Once that began to glitch, I went back to have them replace it, and this went on for 5 different times (FIVE TIMES) they kept replacing my glitched screen for another one. Now my phone is useless and I have to buy a new one. These guys are CHEAP! They created many more issues than I started with. read more

A TOTAL SCAM! Don't take your phone here! They made my phone worse than it originally was, and refused to refund my money. They also said they would only fix the screen after they messed it up if I gave them MORE money. They are fully aware that the phone screens they use malfunction the majority of the time. The owner even admitted that to me face-to-face, and still refused to correct the issue he created. Please do not take your phone here. I just got Asurion insurance with att for 8 bucks a month, my phone screen cracked, and at&t Asurion Company sent out a phone technician to replace my screen. After taking my phone apart, they said whoever work on my screen last did not put back any screws that held the new screen, they said the work was done poorly and due to neglect, and hence why when my phone fell, the entire screen blacked out. I'm done coming here for repairs, terrible company keeps no inventory for newer phones, terrible screens. I made AN APPOINTMENT at 4 today, I called twice made sure they had my screen, told them IWILL BE THERE at 4! Guy called me while I was at work, so I couldn't answer. Supposedly he called me to see if I was still coming. Obviously, that's why I made an appointment. I show up at 4 and he sold the screen to someone else. This has happened 2 times! Why make appointments then? This company is worse than an insecure girlfriend who needs reassurance every 2 minutes. How many times do I need to call and confirm that I'm coming? Also, what kind of screen repair company doesn't keep an inventory of screens? You're in a town that has 100,000 residents, plus all these surrounding rural towns that inevitably come to Chico for repairs. Idk, maybe keep an inventory? This would be like if you went to Safeway and they told you that they would have to order your milk in 2-3 days. Ridiculous. Go across the street to iStore, they fixed my screen same day in 20 minutes with an OLED display, not the cheap garbage you guys sell. read more

I got online and with little effort found dozens of options for parts and repairs.
