Within one hour, he diagnosed that the problem was software related. He "cleaned-up" our system, removed old unused software and applications, and added an application that monitored our temperature and fan speed. It was truly successful and Kevin indicated that we can easily get another five years our of our 2019 laptop. We originally thought that it was a plug vent or broken fan, but rather Keven explained that too much unused software and applications can cause this overheating. We definitely will call Dr. Mac when we have Mac computer problems. He was reasonably priced and we are truly satisfied as you can tell from this review.

The problem with my computer was that it was making this grinding noise precisely where the CPU fan was, there was also a small instance of smoke that came out of my computer but it wasn't anything major. After I was finished explaining the issues I had to wait around a week to get my computer back which was fine, I understand how busy the shop can get. However when I received the call for my computer, I was charged for software repair which came up to be $125. Everything was fine and I went ahead and picked it up. Chandler said that there weren't any issues and that he just needed to do some software repair/updates. When I brought it home it wasn't making that grinding noise at all, great, BUT the next day the problem came back, it randomly started making that awful noise again only 4 hours home. I was really looking forward for them to fix this but Instead I didn't get anything fixed but 'software updates', there was nothing else wrong with my computer, I've had it for a long time.

Somehow they managed to charge her $600 for the television, $249 to install it and $100 for a very cheap wall mount. I'm sure the sales people at Best Buy realized that she knew nothing about how all of this works. 14 months later, the TV completely fails. Normally, LG TVs are quite reliable but this one happened to be defective. Because the warranty from Best Buy is only one year... Basically the same as what LG provides, they are simply refusing to acknowledge that they may have sold a defective product and are avoiding any attempt at making it right. In order to get a television that was functioning to my mother quickly, I went to Costco in Chico and was able to buy a 55 inch LGUG 77 television for only $299 with a standard three-year warranty from Costco, extended to five years for only an additional $35. The disappointing part is that Best Buy is totally unwilling to be flexible, recognize that this might be an unusual circumstance, and do anything besides just look at the policy manuals and reiterate what they are reading from the corporate script. When you are shopping, do your research. Even if Best Buy offers flexible financing, I guarantee that the geek squad service is not worth the paper it's printed on and the customer service will not be there for you if anything goes wrong. After spending over $7000 at Best Buy in the last three years, I believe their customer appreciation needs some tweaking also. Fail
