The next day, I got a call from Jeremy, and I was told that the company approved the refund for the entire amount! He told me when they sign us up, we have to call to cancel the subscription. The receipt has that in writing. Because I did not call, it auto-renewed. I did not feel like he was putting blame on me, but I will admit fault for not following up with the company after the 30 day trial. I just wish they would offer the subscription instead of signing people up for it automatically. But I am very happy to hear that my situation was resolved. I do highly recommend Nerds on Call for computer problems! They are an honest company, and I do believe they are truly here to help us! They are knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and fair. Several times I took it back home to experience another problem, and he would instantly see me the next day and help me out just because of pride in his work. He worked with me remotely, too, over text to figure out minor technical problems, and he calls you to confirm any repairs he's going to make if not previously agreed upon. They only take appointments once a week. Both times I tried, they were a no-show when I arrived for my appointment. I finally got service during the school year. The phone rep gave me the wrong day for my appointment, but the man working the counter let me leave my iMac anyway. I had to ask for a drop off claim. He had wanted me to leave the computer with no paperwork in return. The actual repair work was flawless. The tech replaced my screen and internal DVD drive with no incident. The repair was finished early, and the tech was friendly and answered all my questions. This is why I still give the place 3 stars. For sales, they only have lower end Mac products. In October 2012, they still had no retina display MacBook Pros or other high end configurations.

I began my search for a new laptop some time ago and went through the Yellow Pages, seeking to find a computer company I felt I would like to do business with. I spoke with Greg, who listened to what I was looking for, then said he'd email me a quote. I really didn't expect to see anything from him in my inbox. But the next day, I actually did! Wow! Then I called and spoke with him again, and received a couple more quotes. I was actually surprised and immediately knew that this was the company I'd do business with.
