Within one hour, he diagnosed that the problem was software related. He "cleaned-up" our system, removed old unused software and applications, and added an application that monitored our temperature and fan speed. It was truly successful and Kevin indicated that we can easily get another five years our of our 2019 laptop. We originally thought that it was a plug vent or broken fan, but rather Keven explained that too much unused software and applications can cause this overheating. We definitely will call Dr. Mac when we have Mac computer problems. He was reasonably priced and we are truly satisfied as you can tell from this review.

Not only did he organize things to make them easier to find, he also helped me with my phone, and even showed me a very diabolical thing my Smart TVs were up to - taking pictures every 15 minutes! He put an end to that - Thank you!! Gus stayed over 2 hours, and I learned more during that visit than I ever would have on my own. Best of all, I now know I have someone I can call when I have a question instead of feeling overwhelmed. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely enjoys helping people, I highly recommend Gus at Computer Doctors!

Gus with Computer Doctors is absolutely fantastic. He is so kind with customers, especially the elderly. Because of his amazing kindness I gladly hire him to do stuff for my elderly mother as well. He is great when she has a compromised password. Many scammers take advantage of the elderly and Computer Doctors is able to walk step by step with elderly folk in setting up a computer, a home security system, and what they can do to protect themselves against these people. Computer Doctors has been able to work around my schedule and I guarantee there is no place with better prices in Oroville. For good work, great customer service and a great deal I cannot recommend Computer Doctors enough.

He cleaned the computer thoroughly, and to top it off, he did it in one day! This kind of service is unheard compared to the the big box-stores such as B... Buy... provide. The last time I had the computer cleaned by one of them, it took seven days for me to get the desktop back. Patrick's price for doing the work was so reasonable compared to what I was quoted by other IT service/computer repair shops. I would highly recommend Absolutely Technology (AB) if you need a service done on your devices. In addition, AB is veteran owned and Patrick is a proud military veteran, who, in my opinion, deserves a big "thank-you for your service."

I've sent a couple texts and it has been over a week and I have not gotten the instructions.

That should have been my first clue. He wasn't here very long maybe about 10 minutes. He didn't even check anything. He said he was going to take my external drive and open it up. The charge would be almost $200 and there would be no guarantee that I would get my data. He didn't know what was wrong with it. About an hour after he left I decided against it. I called him and asked him to bring it back. Has was here in five minutes. He wanted to charge me $70.00 and I said no. So he charge me $45.00 just for him to come out and not do anything. He lives in the same town so he didn't have to have money for gas. I know he is trying to run a business but I don't like the way he is running it. I still think the $45.00 was too much for doing nothing. Take all this for what it's worth if you decide to hire him.

I came in with a screen glitch on my iPhone. This was stressful for me as my medical device is fully controlled from my phone. (Before anyone comes at me, yes I have backup options, they just are not as effective.) The young man quoted me and told me to come back in a couple hours. I expressed my concern with it controlling my medical device and he told me he would get it done ASAP. I sat in the shop and read my book while the shop kitty slept in my lap. What I witnessed over the next hour was impressive to say the least. He was the only employee. Person after person poured into the shop. One after the other he took the time to address what they needed and was polite and patient with them even when the person did not deserve it. He finished my replacement in an hour. An hour, that's it. In that hour not only did he replace my screen beautifully, he answered the phone, assisted customers with finding products, assisted customers with their phone issues, and answered customer questions. This young man did the job of at least four employees. I regret that I did not catch his name. If the business sees this review, I was there on 6/25/26 from 4pm-5pm. If anyone from that date and time leave a poor review on the business, please feel free to assume they are the customers that did not deserve this young man's patience or politeness. Highly recommend this business!
