Within one hour, he diagnosed that the problem was software related. He "cleaned-up" our system, removed old unused software and applications, and added an application that monitored our temperature and fan speed. It was truly successful and Kevin indicated that we can easily get another five years our of our 2019 laptop. We originally thought that it was a plug vent or broken fan, but rather Keven explained that too much unused software and applications can cause this overheating. We definitely will call Dr. Mac when we have Mac computer problems. He was reasonably priced and we are truly satisfied as you can tell from this review.

I began my search for a new laptop some time ago and went through the Yellow Pages, seeking to find a computer company I felt I would like to do business with. So many that I called just seemed like they really didn't care if I did business with them at all. Then I found, and called, Chico IT Solutions. I spoke with Greg, who listened to what I was looking for, then said he'd email me a quote. I really didn't expect to see anything from him in my inbox. But the next day, I actually did! Wow! Then I called and spoke with him again, and received a couple more quotes. I was actually surprised and immediately knew that this was the company I'd do business with. I ended up with a great Acer laptop! I also worked with Esley, the owner, who has been very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. I very highly recommend Chico ITS!

He is so kind with customers, especially the elderly. Because of his amazing kindness I gladly hire him to do stuff for my elderly mother as well. He is great when she has a compromised password. Many scammers take advantage of the elderly and Computer Doctors is able to walk step by step with elderly folk in setting up a computer, a home security system, and what they can do to protect themselves against these people. Computer Doctors has been able to work around my schedule and I guarantee there is no place with better prices in Oroville. For good work, great customer service and a great deal I cannot recommend Computer Doctors enough.

That should have been my first clue. He wasn't here very long maybe about 10 minutes. He didn't even check anything. He said he was going to take my external drive and open it up. The charge would be almost $200 and there would be no guarantee that I would get my data. He didn't know what was wrong with it. About an hour after he left I decided against it. I called him and asked him to bring it back. Has was here in five minutes. He wanted to charge me $70.00 and I said no. So he charge me $45.00 just for him to come out and not do anything. He lives in the same town so he didn't have to have money for gas. I know he is trying to run a business but I don't like the way he is running it. I still think the $45.00 was too much for doing nothing. Take all this for what it's worth if you decide to hire him.
