Fixed my wiring quickly, tidied everything up and got my computer running. Fun guys to be around too add on.

I read most of the reviews and saw that they were a reliable, fast, easy to talk to service. When I brought my computer to the shop I met with Chandler and I told him my problem. The problem with my computer was that it was making this grinding noise precisely where the CPU fan was, there was also a small instance of smoke that came out of my computer but it wasn't anything major. After I was finished explaining the issues I had to wait around a week to get my computer back which was fine, I understand how busy the shop can get. However when I received the call for my computer, I was charged for software repair which came up to be $125. Everything was fine and I went ahead and picked it up. Chandler said that there weren't any issues and that he just needed to do some software repair/updates. When I brought it home it wasn't making that grinding noise at all, great, BUT the next day the problem came back, it randomly started making that awful noise again only 4 hours home. I was really looking forward for them to fix this but Instead I didn't get anything fixed but 'software updates', there was nothing else wrong with my computer, I've had it for a long time. read more

I used to go to computer for schools and I'm guessing they are no longer open to the public or their out of business,so I stopped by Chico computer Clinic and Richard did an excellent job restoring my computer which took 20 seconds. I was impressed!! read more

awesome people! Richard is awesome helped me on and off the clock on his own time with a few questions.

My partner and I stopped by today to figure out why his computer had stopped connecting to any networks and he had some urgent work stuff to get finished. Tried all the usual trouble shooting and with no network we couldn't try any updates. My partner had been to this spot before and had good experiences, so he thought maybe someone could help. We went in and talked to the guy who was working and it turns out the immediate problem was simple and he fixed it on the spot - no waiting. My partner pulled out his wallet to pay but the guy told us that it was simple and not to worry about it. There were a couple of other longer term issues that couldn't be solved in the two hours before the shop closed for the weekend and we left on Monday (go figure), but if the timing had been better we would have absolutely left the computer there. Great service and really helpful! read more

Got a virus on my MacBook Air to the point where I would log into my account but it wouldn't go past the loading point in the photo attached. I could've easily just done a hard restart myself but then that would mean losing all my photos and documents. So I took it here and they were able to save all of my photos and documents and get my MacBook working again. Can't thank them enough! read more

There is nobody like these guys. They seem like a couple of dudes you would know and love from high school. I work at the University and took my macbook air to the University bookstore. They said they couldn't fix it and that I needed to go the Apple Store in Roseville. Instead, I decide to see what the boys at Chico Computer Clinic had to say about it. Richard says he thinks he has the part I need and starts looking through old computers he has laying around and finds the part, slaps it in, and I'm on my way in 30 minutes. I have not taking my computer to anyone other than Kyle and Richard since then. read more

Was getting a no display error but thankfully Richard was able to quickly diagnose the problem. Thank you Richard!

Workers are questionable. Always one dirty worker screaming the n word, that appears to be living there. Everything is also late and will make it impossible to have anything fixed in time for classes. Cockroachs occasionally seen while waiting. I guess they can fix stuff eventually. read more

I would give Kyle 6 starts if I could. My computer was angry to say the least and Chico Computer repair popped up on Yelp with stellar reviews; now I know why. Kyle, who is the owner, was very easy to talk to and and was very up front with cost immediately. He updated me very quickly after his diagnosis and fast tracked the repair since I was only in town for a few days. The price was incredibly fair and now my laptop seems faster (placebo?) Come to Kyle if your tech is bummed cuz he'll help you out for a great price. Plus he has a Legend Of Zelda calendar, free bite sized skittles and a Bearded dragon. read more

Chico computer clinic is super helpful and a great price. I will always come here when i'm having trouble with my computer.

I thought I had a pretty severe problem with my MacBook Pro, so I took it into the shop. Within 5 minutes I was out the door with a fixed laptop and was charged $0.00!!! I was so stoked because these guys could have totally gone with what I told them and charged me a couple hundred dollars. But they really helped me out I was very thankful. Would recommend! read more

My laptop was having trouble with the mouse touchscreen. Initially went to geek squad and they weren't able to figure it out. If it was possible to have six stars, I would have chosen six stars. If you need something fixed in regards to your phone, tablet or computer - do not call ANYBODY else and do not wait another day - go here NOW. Amazing service. Amazing turn around. How fast was the turnaround? 2:07pm - Called to ask if they could fix my MacBooks screen (totally cracked and clouded over 50% of the screen - had been bugging me for months, finally decided enough was enough) 3:01pm - Brought the computer in for them to take a look - they told me they would call to get the part delivered and would let me know when it got in. 5:45pm - got a call that the part GOT IT and if I could get the computer there by 6pm, they could work on it and get it back to me the next day 6:45pm - got a call that even though the shop was closed, Jeremy was still in the shop and the computer is DONE. So - after suffering for 5 months, my problem was fixed in less than 5 hours. Oh, and the price, 20% LESS than I was quoted from anybody else. They have won my respect, adoration and business. While they happen to be just a few miles away, I'd happily drive any distance for this kind of service. These guys are amazing. read more

This place is brand-spankin' new, and the owner/operator has youthful entrepreneurial energy! It's brand new and already BUSY, because this man does a great job, does it quickly and at a good price. He worked for the Geek squad previously, so he has a lot of experience. Took my laptop to Nerds on Call (who, by the way, have a 5 star rating on Yelp because they wrote their own review :). The guy was friendly, but was going to have to send my laptop to either Sacramento or Oregon to the tune of $159 deposit just to open it up. He said NOC wouldn't let him open a laptop. Too "tricky." If they don't send it out, NOC STARTS at a flat fee of $129. Seriously? We both knew it was the power button. Kyle, on the other hand, will look at your computer for free. He opened it up, cleaned it out, fixed the wiring to the power button, and worked his tune-up magic (seriously tuned this thing up) for only $79. I got my laptop back the next morning! My clean keys click away in a a way I didn't even know they could, and my machine runs like it's new. So fast! I was so impressed that I turned around and took our desktop computer in for simple maintenance (I've never done maintenance on a computer before, but I'm a convert now. read more

Kyle is a great guy! His services are very reasonably priced and provides top notch work with incredible turn around time! He is super friendly and is always great about explaining whatever problem your device has. He has fixed my computer twice, helped me with a monitor issue, and is currently fixing my usb drive! I can't give this guy enough credit for the service he offers. I wouldn't take my computer or gadgets to anyone else! read more

Gotta say I'm probably a pain as a customer. By the time I take a computer in I'm frustrated to the point I can hardly make complete sentences. Add to that I'm an electronic musician so the hardware and software I use tends to be a bit esoteric. While these guys couldn't work the miracle of fixing a glitch in some recording software, they did a great job of researching the problem and making sure there was nothing else wrong. I would totally recommend these guys, five stars! read more

Great friendly service and quick turnaround time. hands down best computer repair business I have dealt with, I would recommend them to anyone. Edit: brought my PC here again recently because I was having an issue getting the system to display anything on the monitor. I was worried that the GPU might be shot and was thinking I would have to shell out some cash for a new one :(.... However after some diagnosis CCC discovered it was simply a problem of one of the cards (SLI Configuration) not being fully seated. They corrected the problem tested it and my PC was back to normal, on top of that they didn't charge me a dime!.... Great Service!! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER HERE. Dropped off my PC with them and they had it for about a month and couldn't "figure it out" they didn't call me either I just got tired of waiting and went and picked it up AND THEN they give me my pc back MISSING THE GRAPHICS CARD, and then the icing on the cake my back panel fell off because they didn't put any of the screws back in it as I had to go back down to their store to get my stuff back. And after all that I still had to pay them?! Go to PCI computer services people save your time and your money read more

Richard at Chico Computer Clinic did a great job helping me with some problems on my laptop. He was fast, efficient and very reasonably priced. A lot of other places that I called offered to help with my problem, but they started off with some more expensive solutions and told me I'd need to wait 3-5 days just to get my laptop looked at. Chico Computer Clinic was able to resolve my issue the same day, even though it was busy and Richard was helping multiple customers by himself at the same time. Did I feel valued as a customer? Yes Did I feel taken advantage of? No, not at all. Was my problem resolved? Yes Did it cost less than I expected? Yes If I had a computer problem again in the future, would I try Chico Computer Clinic first? YES, absolutely!! Thanks for your help today Richard and Chico Computer Clinic. I appreciate it! read more

I was extremely impressed with how professional this guy was. He looks very young, which made me skeptical, but I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, because wow, he was very knowledge and friendly, and for someone who is kind of computer illiterate he didn't make me feel dumb at any point. For how quick he worked and how decently he was priced, makes me so glad there's honest small businesses to go to! check him out! read more

Knowledgeable, swift, and incredibly amazing customer service. Chico Computer Clinic saved me during the school year! I had spilled water on my laptop and had some water damage, within a couple of hours of calling them for a quote and bringing in the laptop, I was driving home with a totally fixed laptop. Very kind and understanding, they work with you and your budget. I was expecting at least $200 in repairs and labor, but the total was under $150! I don't live in Chico, CA, however, my 93 year old father does. Several times we have used CCC to repair & update computers for my father. We even purchased a refurbished laptop for my daughter from them. We have had the best service and never had any problems. Recently I was visiting my father and my work laptop started giving me problems - plus I needed it updated to Windows 10. Took it in (only had a couple days there in Chico) and they upgraded my computer to Windows 10, cleaned up the hard drive, and fixed my problem very quickly for just the cost of the update. They even said they would extend the warranty if I had any problems since I am only in Chico about every 2 months. Wish they had the business in my hometown! Great job Chico Computer Clinic - I will use you again I am sure!! read more

Even though I did not get my repair done here, this company was super great. My laptop was broken and they were one of the only places offering to do a free diagnostic. One day after bringing in my laptop, they told me what was going on and how much the repair would be. They told me that it was an expensive repair since my whole screen was broken, and the best idea would be for me to go through warranty instead. I felt this was the right thing for a company to do since I did not feel like they were pushing me to get my repair there. If I ever have another problem, I will be going back here. Great employees and very cooperative! read more

My 2012 MacBook Pro was indicating that it needed its battery serviced for about a year but between working a normal 8-5 job and expenses, it was difficult trying to make it down to Sacramento to get to the nearest Apple Store.
