Had a very bad experience. Get your Verizon equipment from a Corporate store, not a retailer like this. There are Corporate stores everywhere. This type of retailer cannot get support from Verizon, like the Corporate Store can. My 90 year old mother had to get a new basic flip phone because of the Verizon switch to 5g network. The process of getting a new phone at Victra took 1.5 hours and when we were done, the sales person couldn't get Verizon to activate the phone, so we had to make a trip to the Corporate store to do this. "where we had to wait another hour". Victra also talked my mom into getting a liquid glass screen saver for $50, that we were told had a lifetime warranty. The Corporate Store advised us that screen savers are completely unnecessary for a flip phone...........then we found out that the warranty was only for one year (not lifetime).......and, you had to register the item through Apps and scanning of your phone............which my mom's basic flip phone could not do, and...............she doesn't have a computer. She's 90!!!! So, we went back to Victra and asked for a refund, and they wouldn't do it. I asked one salesperson to try to contact the liquid glass screen saver company to see if there was a different way to register and the salesperson did not even try to contact the company or help us. Nothing from him!!! So, the other salesperson came over and registered the product on her own cell phone. In total, we spent 5 hours getting my mom a phone that works and she wasted $50 on a liquid glass screensaver. Very unhappy with our experience at this retailer. read more

A NOTE FROM VERIZON WIRELESS CORPORATE ABOUT THIS LOCATION: Want to hear something interesting that came straight from the mouth of Verizon Corporate?- this location is not officially considered an 'authorized dealer' (go ahead, check the locations on Verizonwireless.com, you won't see this location pop up!) This is considered a 'third party' location, similar to the mall kiosks, and they work heavily on commission. WHICH WOULD EXPLAIN WHY THEY TRIED TO SNAKE ME YESTERDAY ;) (brunette girl working on 7/28 at 6pm... I'm looking at you) as well as the several bad reviews I went in there having already read about this location, but I thought I'd give them a shot anyway. Hey, you could always just walk out! Right??) I was eligible for an upgrade in June, so I went to cash in on it and get a new iPhone 6 for $199 knowing I could charge the phone to the account. In the past, my brother (the account holder) has charged everything from phones to chargers to the account never having an issue, and even made me an authorized account holder, meaning I could manage the account along with him with the same authority. The sales woman that offered to 'help' me gave me a very difficult time the whole 15 minutes I was there. She would not accept MY information to access the account (regardless of being an authorized account holder) but instead, she made me call my brother on the east coast to get all of HIS personal info. Once she was in the account, she confirmed that I was eligible for an upgrade and let me see the iPhone 6. Being already sold on it before I walked in the door, I wasn't interested in seeing anything else but, -man oh man-, did she try to sell me every phone and accessory in that store! I kept shaking my head 'no' as she spoke, and politely asked for my iPhone 6. She then said 'well how about we open another phone line for you, so you can get the phone cheaper?' Again, shaking my head no, I said 'please, I don't want to add a line, subtract a line, divide a line- nothing. I just came in for an upgraded phone and don't want to touch any other thing on the account' she practically interrupted me to say 'well you can't get the iPhone 6 on an upgrade. Only if you start a new account or open a new line... If you want the iPhone 6 today, it will be $600' The smell of bullshit has never been so strong. She then went on to say 'AND, you can't charge things to the account' 'Since when?' I asked.. 'Since ALWAYS!' She barked back. again, not true because I've done it several times before. It was then that I smiled, grabbed my keys and said 'ok! :) thank you! I'll head to the location in Sherman Oaks' and left. My brother called Verizon corporate after I told him how they refused to sell me the phone unless I opened more accounts OR paid them $600, and he got the above info confirmed by the top-dogs at corporate. BEWARE. Avoid this place at all costs. WE ARE LUCKY WE CAUGHT THEM LYING TO US or we would be out a non-refundable $600. The other negative reviews are not lying! Go to verizonwireless.com and make sure you are dealing with an authorized store! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at this location today. Ish helped me with everything I needed! We came in having an idea of what we wanted (new phones, possibly a new plan etc.) and came out more satisfied than I even expected to be! I HIGHLY recommend this location, they took the time to explain everything and go over any discounts that could possibly apply to our new plan. Everything was taken care of with ease and they were so knowledgeable about everything. Ish and Chris are who I had the pleasure of meeting today. Don't read the other reviews, they've changed the staff at this location from what I understand and are doing the best job getting their name out there to make sure everyone I satisfied! Tried to take it back and their contract of course! has a $100 stocking fee! Wow! Shady business practices. It's the absolute worse and like all other yelpers who mentioned this place is absolutely commission base outfit, you can't trust what these sales vultures are even telling you. BEWARE! Whenever you have an issue with a product or service, its always a long process with these small authorized retail stores. Remember what I said, authorized retail store, not an actual Verizon corporate store. There is a big difference between the two. Because they are not directly connected with Verizon, their customer service is not always as friendly and are always business sales oriented versus customer satisfaction. My experience from this store is that I purchased a jet pack but returned it with in a week because I found out that I did not really need it. I was not suppose to be charged for the early contract cancellation because the product was return within the the time allowed. Anyway, its been almost 3 months now and the problem has not yet been resolve. When I went to the Verizon corporate store, they told my that the store where i originally purchase the product lost my receipt of return. Now, this Chatsworth 4G wireless store told me that they are now working on my refund and its been 2 weeks now since their follow up. I don't know when this will be resolve but I can only hope that they will at least give me back the money that belongs to me. Finally, given my experience from the store manager, I would not do business with this store again because of the lack of professionalism and reliability. When you tell a customer that you will call them back for an update of the problem, it is not polite just not call the customer back. This is poor customer service. read more

I can only base this review on what I did not get at this location. I just walked in to switch from my carrier to Verizon and buy a phone at the store but instead of being greeted when I walked in, I was asked if I had "any questions while I wait". I told the employee that I did not really wait for anything but I wanted to switch carriers and then the he told me that he couldn't help me and that his boss was on lunch. Went to Verizon Wireless on 19646 Ventura Blvd Tarzana Ca at 9 am and they said to wait 5 minutes walking into the store it looked like a remodel and saw no products just hangers. The two male employee's said they were getting product in later and had nothing- RATING 0. Time to give VERIZON another chance went to VERIZON CHATSWORTH and asked employee KARINA B for a charger cord for my phone since they always break :( Next thing I know she had the right charger and super fast I was so impressed I decided to by 2 Chargers and even pay my bill in the store because of the EXCELLENT SERVICE and FAST HELP. Then I meet ALBERT B store manager who took care of me. I was confused why KARINA B did not ring me up and was told she was in training. The way KARINA B helped me I thought she was the store manager do her KNOWLEDGE and EXCELLENT SERVICE and it seemed like she has been at this store for awhile very impressed. Due to ALBERT B and KARINA B I did not switch service to SPRINT due to my first store encounter THESE EXCELLENT EMPLOYEE'S made a great save. PLEASE LET KARINA B and ALBERT B know what a excellent job they did and how they represented your company in a positive way. The drive from REDONDO BEACH was worth it. read more

This Thor has put me so far in the hole with Verizon but its going to take me another 2 years after my first two year contract is up to get out from underneath the thumb of Verizon Wireless. They sold me two phones one of which was a iPhone 6s plus which my son loves the other was my trade in of my samsung galaxy s5 and get the new galaxy s6. I hate this galaxy s6 it blows you cannot put A extra memory card. It doesn't feel right unless you have a protective case on it. I tried to get back my old phone and found I couldn't which I was told by them I had 30 days when the fact was I only had 15 days. I'm very angry with the store and I will never go back and I encourage you not to go there even though you might be going to the movies and think its close by. You might want to pay your bill there but please don't get your phone from this place it is not an actual Verizon Wireless store!!! It's like a kiosk in the mall if something happens you still have to call Verizon or go to a real Verizon store to get your phone fixed they just sell phones and accessories and try to get as much money as they can for what they cell. DO NOT SHOP HERE FOR ANY REASON!!!!! You would have to be a total fool to shop at one of these independent Verizon stores which play by their own "independent retailer" rules. I have had a corporate account with Verizon (with over 10 phones) for as long as Verizon has been in the cell phone business which is about 25 years. They treat their customers so well that it is remarkable that they let these independent store operate, its such a bad look for their company. If you buy a phone at a Verizon store(a real Verizon store which is pretty easy to recognize as the real stores are super nice and the 4g stores are in little strip malls with very little investment in appearance), you can return it within 14 or sometimes 30 days NO QUESTIONS ASKED! If you buy a phone, as I recently did at one of these crappy stores, THERE IS NO RETURN POLICY AT ALL!!! So why would you ever shop there???? Luckily, Verizon stepped in just before I was going to close my account and applied the credit I was seeking and took back the phone at one of the real Verizon stores, proving once again that Verizon is a rock solid company but these independent stores SUCK!!!
