I made a appointment over the phone for 3 pm at the store on California Ave. we went in and tried to sign in but there was no record of our appointment. We waited about 15 minutes before a nice young man contacted us, he couldn't answer many of our questions it was frustrating I felt he was new at sales we thanked him. We then went to another smaller Verizon store and were disappointed there was only one poor salesperson she had many customers she was doing her best but she didn't have time to help everyone I felt sorry for her. The other salesperson had just left for lunch. We thanked her for her limited help and left after about 45 minutes. We came home and will give it another try tomorrow. Verizon is our carrier and we like their coverage but finding a store that has the proper staffing and knowledgeable sales people to help us buy another phone has been a challenge. Girl with pokemon nails barely looked at my phone, just gave me her tablet and made me fill out the online Assurant insurance form. I did so and towards the end it showed a balance of ~$100 if i got approved. Got the email today of the approval but it says phone upgrade, I did not want an upgrade I just wanted an equal replacement. The link on the email i got didnt even work, so i headed over to the California branch and doors were locked past 11am, sat in my car for a bit to see if they would open it but they didn't so I went to the location on Ming. I was unable to reverse the Upgraded insurance claim, and I had to pay the ~$100 difference. The girl at the California location did not inform me about anything, did not look at my phone at all, just gave me a form I could've done at home with the WRONG information. Incredibly frustrated. Wasted my time and the other t-mobile representative who used his personal phone to let me call Assurant to figure out what the hell I signed up for and what kind of "upgrade" I got, which seems to be just the exact same phone I'm trying to replace. It's obvious this locations workers don't care at all.

We love this at&t store! We have had to go in quite a bit the past few months for a whole list of…read morethings. First, it was to replace a really old iPhone with something newer since my boyfriend cracked his screen. He was in and out and back home within an hour, which I was not expecting because the Ming Ave store and Truxton store that would have taken me 1-2 hours easily because they get so busy. The second time was because we were interested in getting internet service so we could stop using Spectrum. We just wanted it all in one place and one bill. We ended up getting the girl who helped my boyfriend get a phone, Brenda, again. She let us know about internet, but also told us it was super cheap to add TV on too (it was like $10-20 more to get internet and DirecTV basic package versus just internet). Then she helped us get HBO for free because we have unlimited data. We were super happy and the process went smooth and quick to get it changed and scheduled. Then we went in a 3rd time and got Brenda again. We needed help figuring out how to move our TV and internet since we are moving (unfortunately only the customer service line can help with that), but we also got help getting my boyfriend on to the First Link network for first responders and she added me as an authorized user. It took awhile because it is kind of a painful process, but she guided us through the whole experience which would have been incredibly difficult to navigate without her! I've never said this before, but I'm actually not dreading the trip to get me added on to the cell phone plan in January because I know it will be as easy and painless as every other trip to this store thanks to Brenda and Eric, the manager, who always happily helps out when Brenda doesn't have the answers. These two make the whole cell phone/internet/TV process way easier and faster and have totally changed my outlook on AT&T customer service in this town because I've had some bad experiences at their other locations. We had Kimberly and she was super helpful and we appreciated her assistance, but the whole process in itself should not have taken as long as it did. From faulty equipment to the too lazy to go ask a question ( not Kimberly), we were not impressed at all and agreed the change over was not worth the value of the hassle. Not to mention, I see dropped pants on guys regularly, on the streets. I shouldn't have to see a representative of AT&T wearing them like that in the store, but hey, at least your underwear matched the AT&T colors, Al. Keep in mind, not all phones here are compatible with your carrier. Dominic had to manually check each one I selected. An advice for CellNow, you should pre-check all phones & write down which carriers it works with, definitely would save time for the customers. Even though Dominic was helpful, it took some time to find the phone that worked with my carrier. There were 2 iPhones in great condition I picked & they did not work. Thankfully the 3rd one was also in great condition & it worked! Since my old phone couldn't turn on, I had to stop into T-Mobile to connect the new phone (took employee there 5 mins).
