I just had to visit the T-Mobile on Ming to get my issue sorted out. Came in yesterday to see if I could get my phone replaced because I dropped it and the screen is now malfunctioning. Girl with pokemon nails barely looked at my phone, just gave me her tablet and made me fill out the online Assurant insurance form. I did so and towards the end it showed a balance of ~$100 if i got approved. Got the email today of the approval but it says phone upgrade, I did not want an upgrade I just wanted an equal replacement. The link on the email i got didnt even work, so i headed over to the California branch and doors were locked past 11am, sat in my car for a bit to see if they would open it but they didn't so I went to the location on Ming. I was unable to reverse the Upgraded insurance claim, and I had to pay the ~$100 difference. The girl at the California location did not inform me about anything, did not look at my phone at all, just gave me a form I could've done at home with the WRONG information. Incredibly frustrated. Wasted my time and the other t-mobile representative who used his personal phone to let me call Assurant to figure out what the hell I signed up for and what kind of "upgrade" I got, which seems to be just the exact same phone I'm trying to replace. To begin with can't greet the customer, second of all waited about 20 mins roughly just to get a question answered. I did come to this location a couple days back looking for a camera screen protector and spoke to Chris about it and he said it would fit my iPhone14 when it was for an Iphone15. Not very knowledgeable I would say. Service was really disappointing. I've had ads popping up on my phone for months now. I went in today to see if they could help. I was told it's an app problem and I would have to either reset my phone or go through each app. Handed me my phone back like I hadn't even spoken to them. My boyfriends phone won't charge, they never offered to even try and help. We asked about our bill, they simple pulled up our bill, said they have the cheapest rates and that's what everybody pays. We will be searching for a new phone carrier. Never offered to see if we had upgrades. We have had service 2 yrs now. I feel like they just didn't wanna deal with us. read more

Not all T-Mobile customer service reps are created equal. Fortunately for us, the young gentleman who assisted us was very helpful and honest. He answered all our questions. He did not try to sell us anything that we didn't need. He did a great job. Sure beats the two staff members who assisted us at T-Mobile's Rosedale store. Friendly staff BUT they WILL rip you off I just bought a phone before researching the cost on it (lg stylo 3 plus), $225 before tax cash or financed through t mobile. Amazon has that same phone for $149 before tax with free shipping and unlocked. T-Mobile charged 160 up front and if you want to return it its $50 restocking fee. They sell you otterbox cases for a ridiculously high price YOU'RE A FOOL to fall in the trap of buying those cases because they just sell you the NAME. I'm a mother of 3 and i work in a warehouse, trust me, i know. A regular(basic) PHONE CASE with T-Mobile cost you $39 before tax but amazon has cases for $5 and some change with free next day shipping with prime. I switched from verizon about 4 years ago now. The mobile service has improved in those 4 years as in the beginning my service was iffy. I've had several problems with T-Mobile but most have been resolved either through intervention or on its own. This store in particular gets a 3 because of the staff. They have been helpful but rude. There have been times I have waited for 30min to be helped yet there were several staff talking and doing nothing. I have also been talked down to as if I don't know anything about phones. read more

Just found it I've been paying the jump insurance on my phone for the past year and I can't even use it since my phone is paid off. Efficient, Effective, & Experienced! Stephanie L. was my sales rep at T mobile today and she was amazing. This T Mobile had a huge line when I walked in, but I only waited a total of 6 minutes in line which is not that long considering I didn't have an appointment. All the sales representatives were friendly and helpful and working hard to accommodate all the customers. Stephanie took the extra step to call customer service herself and get additional service prices dropped for me. Overall, most pain free experience with dealing with a cellular phone company. read more

The girl that helped me was very nice but she didn't disclose many things to me that she should have and at the end of everything she starts trying to slip in all these charges that she wasn't upfront about in the beginning...and that jump program is crap because you're still under "contract" for 6 months before you can get another device or half your bill is paid...I didn't appreciate her not being upfront about all the charges and her trying to mention them once I was signing all those papers...not pleased read more

I recently went in to switch from Verizon to T-Mobile when they had the 120 for unlimited everything with Verizon I had 4 lines and I pay 240 that's with a discount two lines had unlimited data and two have 2GB. The customer service here was helpful that's what gets the 3 stars but after a week on the T-Mobile service it was nothing compared to Verizon I live in the deep S.W Bakersfield and the data was slow with a few buffering here and there for YouTube and Netflix but when traveling outside of Bakersfield you might as well not take your phone because it buffers more than it plays and my phone calls were garbled. So I went back in and canceled and went back to Verizon which I was lucky enough to get my unlimited back, so I guess you really get what you pay for so all those fancy commercials on T-Mobile don't feed into it unless your just staying in Bakersfield and don't travel anywhere. Dec 15, 2016 - My bill came in for what was supposed to be for 6 days of service since I canceled them after the 6 days of unreliable service and the bill was for 180 plus tax which T-Mobile lied and they quote me 120 for the Black Friday deal, I did call and they refunded my money but goes to show you, don't let them false commercials play you has a fool. We went in to change from At & t to t mobile because of the deal with 55 and older. THe guy helped us fine, but the music playing was loud and offensive. The more I stayed, the more my anxiety got worse. When I told them about the music, they just looked at me with no response. I guess they don't have many people older than 55 coming in. I don't recommend T-Mobile, or this store. The girl who helped me didn't offer me any of the deals that were going on right then, tried to get me to sign up for something that cost much more. Luckily, the other worker said something before I paid! But after I signed up, the people working at this store had no idea how to make an android phone communicate with iPhones. I went in twice, and they were zero help. I cancelled my account after a month - why be with a company that doesn't know how to make your phone communicate with half of the other phones? And then they sent me to collections, when in fact I had already paid for an extra month! Funny how they happened to "lose" $178 in payments, and now I have to deal with a collections agency. I went to this store today 3/8/19 to follow up my pre order on my two galaxy S10 plus. I pre ordered it 2/26/19 and I was told by the employee that I will get my S10 plus on the release date even tho it shows 3/27 estimated shipping. So I waited but release date came and still no shipment tracking. So I went and talk to this guy and told him that I already called TMobile customer care, and they said that the prism white is ready to be shipped, but the flamingo pink is on back order. I understand that but I was just hoping that they ship my prism white first and not wait til 4/2/19 for the flamingo pink. That's not a week late or two, that's a MONTH of delay. Im so upset. Long story short. This guy is not making me feel any better and asking if there's anything we can do. But hes just being an a**hole saying I can't do anything sorry. No I can't. No. Blah blah in an a**hole way.. So asked for the manager for more explaination. And this guy "Josh Guzman" said he is the manager. And I'm like this guy doesn't know anything about costumer service and he's the manager?? He didn't explained to me enough what happened and what can be done. Even the customer care agent I talked to the phone gave me option to cancel and reorder, but I don't wanna do that cuz I won't be getting the galaxy buds for preordering the phone. I bought a Samsung Galaxy s5 on Sept 2,2015, I was unable to send messages on the phone & there was also a problem with the volume. I couldn't hear when trying to talk on phone, the speakers were very low, I returned the phone on Sept 15,2015 due to it being defective. I was promised a full refund by the store owner & told I would receive it within 7-10 days at the most. ( the money should have been added back to my debit card, that is how I originally did the purchase) As of today I still haven't received my money it has been 41 days, every time I call I have to talk to a different rep, the company is so messed up one person says you need to talk to customer service, another sends me to buyers remorse dept, another says go back to store, while another says talk to the district manager. They say they will call me back they never do. I have never had such bad service, I purchased my phone at T- Mobile 2304 Columbus St. Bakersfield, Ca.. from store owner Terry Baggett, he has done nothing to help me.
