went to a verizon store to return equipment. Told that this is a franchise and we cannot accept equipment. Told that they cannot help me make an appointment at a corporate store but that I must go to a corporate store. Went to a corporate store. Told they cannot accept equipment because I was returning it for my girl friend. Each time I had an appointment. Each time I was forced to wait over 15 minutes. This firm is just no no no no. There is no winning with this firm. NEVER do business with verizon!! They overcharge and will not let you out of their phone plans. Went to tracfone and changed over, no problem. Purchased the byop card and 30 day plan for walmart (cost $20 for both). Got the phone switched over the same day. Good riddence to the $175/mo plan What a rip off!! read more

This is NOT an authorized Verizon retailer, but a third party retailer using the Verizon brand illegally. The service provided is similar to a sleazy car sales or repair person. Older model phones are sold at extremely high prices. And, lie about Samsung phones to decrease their inventory of older models. They also charge $49.99 for transferring data from an old phone to a new phone, which the legitimate Verizon DOES NOT charge for. One restocking fee was quoted twice and then charged a higher amount when the phone is returned. Sales person was not that knowledgeable and needed assistance frequently. Legitimate, corporate Verizons are located in Milford and North Haven. They are helpful, professional, and have free or more reasonable prices. This place is a wolf in sheep's clothing! read more

I frickin' love this place. My 4s died two weeks before my upgrade date. I've been a Verizon customer for over 10 years. Did they care? Nope! They said the best they could do was sell me the cheapest phone in the store--some droid--for almost 400 bucks. Thanks, but I'm an iPhone girl. I don't do Droid. Anyways...after finally threatening to take my business to ATT....Verizon sent me here. Simply said: these guys are AWESOME. They couldn't upgrade me two weeks early but they DID hook me up with a 4 and then told me to come back the next week and they would upgrade me to my 5 a week early. Did that, bam, even exchange. They even went out of the way to see who would give me the most money for my busted 4s. I will definitely be coming back here and sending anyone who has Verizon here as well. read more

This place is the best. I made a huge mistake to buy my previous phone at a Verizon store down the road. The service was abysmal, indeed nightmarish (you know, you can't wake up from something that goes on and on). Then I happened on this place -- not a Verizon store but a Verizon authorized store -- and it was like day and night. The folks are friendly and COMPETENT, and the service is QUICK. The staff must be super-dedicated because I see the same people whenever i go in, no matter what day or time (and they are open 7 days). They must just live there! Most of the time I buy nothing and just need help with something. They are always ready and ABLE to help. This is the kind of store that keeps Internet shopping at bay ... and really helps make life bearable. read more

I am terrible with names or else I'd really like to personally thank the gentleman who searched and found me a case for an older phone Samsung Galaxy s10, he and I believe the manager were able to order screen protectors for me. I can't express how pleased I am with the service I received from Wireless Zone in Orange. I went to 2 other Verizon Wireless store before finding these guys. The other 2 stores pretty much told me there was nothing they could do, other than sell me a new $500 phone.............. Bob the owner was very willing to help when we explained my problem. Calvin the tech guy is the best. He fixed my phone in a matter of hours. Dropped it off and a little while later, it's like I have a brand new phone. I can't thank these guys enough! Amanda was so amazing at this store. When she was done doing every single thing you need to do when you get a new phone, I almost didn't want to leave. I sat and chatted with all the staff that it was like talking to friends. I have been to the other store on the Milford/Orange line. I'll just say I wasn't impressed and never went back. I am not a person that has EVER written a review for anyone or anything, but I really felt convicted to write this one because of the unbelievable customer service I received from one of the employees at this particular Verizon store in Orange, Ct. I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree when it comes to electronics but this sales person who's name is WIL put me totally at ease and made the whole experience less frustrating and yes aggravating. He went above and beyond the sale of my new Iphone 5-S and even helped me with issues after I got home and called at least 3 times to ask him questions. The whole time being as professional and courteous as one could be. I will definitely go to this particular store in the future and recommend it to my friends also. Verizon should be very satisfied to have an employee such as this representing them. read more

Great service and so helpful. Had problems with my old flip phone connecting to my new vehicle. They helped me with that in a minute. Finally decided to get a new smart phone. I have been going to Verizon Wireless for many years and the reason I continue to go is because of Chris Auletta. He use to be in the Stratford store but when that store closed I was lost until I found him again in Orange. He has been tremendously patient with people like myself who are not very tech savvy. For many years he has guided me in what fits my needs and I have never been disappointed. He is very knowledgeable with all the products Verision Wireless Zone carry. I have a business account and each time I upgrade our phones he checks to make sure we have the best plan for our business. He is very thorough and explains everything completely, and also offers to help weeks later if you are having any trouble with your new phone. Today I upgraded my phone, but only after I called ahead to find out when Chris would be there to help me. I am sure all the other sales people are very helpful and know their product well, but since I have worked with Chris for many years I know I will always leave the place with exactly what I need. read more
