Greg quickly and meticulously replaced the port on my wife's Samsung Galaxy S5 two weeks ago, at which point we could actually charge the battery and transfer files to her new phone. I had called four other repair shops, but Greg was clearly the most clear, professional and knowledgeable person I spoke to. And he was delightful in person. We found parking across the street, and were in and out in less than 30 mins. He had ordered the part ahead of time and payment was easy without any unexpected charges. Certainly a major fan of C.C.T. Repair. I had a BB Q10 from Vodacom in South Afrika that was security wiped - unfortunately in the process it damaged several files of the OS which made the phone a potential brick. BB Link could not restore the file nor could an autoloader software I found on the Internet. I Googled repair services in the New Haven area - Greg's business came up and I gave a call. I had the phone to him by 11:30 AM and 2 hours later he rings saying "come get your phone". I'm thinking no luck. To the contrary - he had the OS re-installed and the phone was humming. I had a boost phone that need repair. Gregory told me how much the phone was then explained that for the normal amount he would charge would sur pass a new phone cost but if i was willing to wait a couple more days then normal delivery he will help me out and charge me under a new or used phone cost. I waited and now my phone is fixed. I could afford to wait, it was a small crack in my screen. Super happy. Brought my phone in because it wouldn't turn on. He sat down and explained everything he was doing to my phone so I could follow along. Turns out there was electricity stuck in the motherboard - after taking the back off and putting it back together - it turned on! He even gave me some advice on what chargers to get and where so I could avoid this problem in the future. this was an awesome experience. My daughter found this service about 10 pm at night on google, and I scheduled an appointment. It is located in a very professional office building smack in the middle of New Haven green with great security. The repair was done in 15 minutes by an excellent technician. Brought my phone to Gregory after taking it to AT&T. Charging port wasn't working. AT&T tried to sell me a new phone. Gregory cleaned out the port with tweezers and fixed it in under 30 seconds no charge. Could have easily taken the phone and installed a part it didn't need.
