I found RCR on Google and chose to have my laptop repaired there because they had over 70 reviews, all 5-stars. John diagnosed my problem as a failing hard disk drive. I had no idea that they last only 3-5 years! Luckily I called just in time and they were able to replace the bad drive with a new Solid State Drive and even better they were able to transfer every last file from my old drive! The entire job went so quickly also, I brought it in on Fri afternoon and was able to pickup Sat. morning... I couldn't be happier with the work done!!! The SSD is double the size and amazingly faster, it's even faster than when it was new... It used to take over a minute to start up, now it only takes 4-6 seconds!!! In my mind its even better than a new laptop because it has all my work and changes exactly as they were... I will recommend to anyone needing computer help, and I will be back for sure when I'm ready for a new unit. read more

For the first time in 30 years, I had an issue I couldn't fix. I ran a restore point which literally obliterated Windows on a band new laptop that I just spent weeks setting up. There was no doing anything, it was gone. I think the registry was miswritten. I looked up computer repair and luckily, I found John. He spoke with me at length. It was like talking to a friend. He took my computer in in that same hour and had it back to me the next morning. He called me with an update on the situation and listened to my preferences on the reinstallation.
