I left a voicemail and got a response the next day, confirming I could bring it in. They were communicative and helpful while they had it, and let me know that they couldn't replicate the issue, likely chalking it up to debris in the fans they were happy to clean out. Since there wasn't a problem they said no charge, but also notified me of a different issue they encountered while working. They explained the issue and the risks it did (and didn't!) pose (and importantly didn't try to sell it as an issue I had to imminently fix immediately!). They explained what would be needed for a fix and a cost estimate, and two days later (one of which was just waiting for a part to arrive) I now have my repaired and fully functional laptop for exactly the estimated price. I highly recommend!
